We had a wonderful time during our stay. Our host was very accommodating, and very easy to communicate with. The property was easy to find, with amazing views. It was our perfect homebase during our Death Valley national Park visit.
This is our third stay at this property over the last 4 years and it has been a delight each time. The property is easily accessible, always sparkling clean, bright and welcoming.Jill and Tracy do a great job of communicating and you can tell they care about the home and the community of neighbors. We definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for an excellent "home base" to visit Lone Pine, The Alabama Hills and the rest of the area. Top Notch!
Loved the clean, open design of the house. I would suggest that the back stairway to the driveway be replaced with a more stable and permanent stairway. A great place and we enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful architecture, large rooms, well stocked kitchen, lots of games for family to play, very nice master bath, comfortable beds, definitely recommend
We won the permit lottery for hiking Mt Whitney, and this house provided a very convenient, clean, and spacious place to stay before and after our long hike. We had a wonderful stay at this house. (And we made it to the top of Mt Whitney too!)
We summited Whitney Sat and used this home Fri and Sat night as a prep and recovery zone. Everything was great and I would recommend to others. The ping pong room is really fun!

Perfect location for Death Valley and the Alabama Hills. Many other things to do and see, both outdoor and inside museums. What a joy to stay in the house and relax, cooking our evening meals and breakfasts. Don't miss this opportunity if you are in the area.
It was a fabulous place. It’s much bigger than it looks like in the pictures. It was very clean & had all the essentials & more. Jill was an excellent host & was always a phone call away. It has a beautiful kitchen that opens up to a huge living room. And out the back door opens up to a huge deck with the occasional rabbit hopping by. The air conditioning worked great. The place was just perfect & would love to stay there again.

Beautiful house in a beautiful environment at the foothills of Mt Witney in the Alabama Hills. Comfortable, clean, casual and inviting home. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. We had such an exciting time stargazing, hiking and exploring the area. It was wonderful to come back to a "home base" to rest. Thank you for memories we will be talking about forever.
Four of us stayed at the house, and it was truly amazing. Bright, clean, and truly well-appointed with all the things you need to actually use the house (it even had an airfryer in the kitchen!). Great comfortable beds and actual warm blankets for winter. Ultimately it was even better than the pictures suggest! Super location--easy access to get into town and all the beautiful natural spaces Lone Pine has to offer. Only issue was the heat was very low on arrival and temps had dropped, so needed a few house to get truly comfortable, but it resolved without issue. The host had good, quick communication. I can't wait to revisit this home next time in Lone Pine!
