Large 7 Bedroom Home in the Heart of Dutch Country--perfect for large groups

This former bed & breakfast is the perfect home to host a large family, couples' retreat, or a sports team with seven bedrooms and eight full bathrooms. The spacious living room and dining room feature beautiful hardwood floors and a wool rug. A finished family room (with full bathroom) in the basement gives plenty of room for everyone to socialize. The dining room has table seating for 10, plus 4 more at the high-top table in the kitchen. The kitchen boasts a modern stove, refrigerator, microwave/convection oven, and dishwasher. A large capacity washer & dryer are also available for use. Six of the seven bedrooms have queen-sized beds, with the remaining one having two twin beds. A large outdoor patio with tables and chairs is a great place to enjoy a meal outdoors. The beautiful grounds host a variety of perennials for your enjoyment during your stay.

Located just 10 minutes from historic downtown Lancaster and 10 minutes north of Sight and Sound, this home is just a stone's throw from the outlet malls, Amish farms, restaurants, and roadside stands. Spooky Nook Sports is an easy 17 minute drive away.

This was our second time staying here and I hope to be back! Everything was perfect. They had done some major updates from the last time which made it even more homey! All our kids and grands had the best time! Great house, yard, host and area! Nancy even came and took a few group family pictures for us to capture the memories!

Great House

We loved this house! We had our kids and grandkids with us and the setup of this house was perfect! For our large group, we never felt closed in… with three levels we had plenty of room! The front window was perfect for watching the beautiful horse and buggies go by, and the back yard was perfect for our BBQ, and the kids equipment was a hit with our grandkids! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Thank you Nancy, everything was great and you couldn’t have been a better host.

Great for a group of ladies traveling together.

This was our second time staying at this property. We’re a group of church ladies who travel to this area to go to Sight and Sound Theater. We love the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. We like the big dining room table where we can enjoy having breakfast together and playing cards/games in the evening. It’s convenient to other attractions and dining options. We planned our trip around the dates available at this property. We hope to stay here again next year.

Great house!

Our friend group of 8 stayed over President’s Day weekend. Immaculately clean. We had a gift box from the host waiting for us. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. Very close to the outlets and other attractions. Big kitchen for us all to cook in and hang out. Nancy was very helpful when we had questions. Thank you, Nancy!

Wonderful place to stay for a large family!

This house had the unique feature of MANY bedrooms want a bathroom in EVERY bedroom! It also had 2 VERY LARGE living room areas both with a VERY LARGE table so there was plenty of space for family and friends to be together!

Great stay!

This is our second time seeing the house. We love the many bedrooms and bathrooms. Our host is always quick to answer our questions and help if we have any issues. The only complaint is the bed on the main floor needs to be replaced. There is no support at all. This is the queen bed in the room to the right.

The house was nice for a larger group. Unfortunately, the dishwasher wasn’t working but the host offered to wash dishes after we left. Obviously, we still had to wash lots of dishes in a four day stay. I hope the dishwasher is able to be fixed quickly.

Convenient location and lots of space

The house is older but it was clean and it was great to have the beds and baths to easily accommodate a large group where everyone has their own bath! While it was a bit humid throughout, the window units helped a bit, especially at night. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen which had basic spices, plenty of K-cups, lots of silverware and dish ware, and a very nice set of cookware. The owners also provided plenty of trash bags, paper towels, tissues in every room, and travel size bath amenities. The washer and dryer were convenient and there was plenty of detergent and dryer sheets provided. The basement is nicely finished and provides a great indoor play area. The backyard is very peaceful and has a large yard as a play area and a swing set for little ones. While the house does sit on Old Philadelphia Pike, which is very busy, the driveway is at the traffic light and there is a green light to exit which made it very easy to get in and out. Overall, a very comfortable home with lots of space, plenty of bathrooms, and conveniently located to see all of the sights in the Lancaster vicinity.

Lovely property, inside and out. Loved the “every room has its own bath concept”. So many spaces to gather for chat times. Very clean and comfy. The only negative was some of the room air conditioners were super loud making it difficult to sleep soundly. Other than that it was picture perfect.
