About this property

Royston Roost in Courtenay!

Brand new beautiful luxury suite located on 2 private acres. Our suite has a queen size bed, small couch to watch tv, stocked small kitchenette (bar fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pod maker, kettle, induction burner (no oven), dishes, and assorted cutlery. We have a bistro table and 2 stools in the kitchenette, 4 piece bathroom, with a free standing soaker tub, double sinks, large shower, and private deck over looking the gorgeous Beaufort mountain range. The suite has its own heat and air conditional system so you control your temperature. Private entrance and plenty of space to securely store your mountain bikes, kayaks, etc. Walking distance to beach, local Pub, historical Railway walking trail, and minutes to mountain biking and other great amenities.

The suite was impeccable, accentuated by the host's clearly artistic decor. The location is a short walk to an ocean trail walk, which is always changing and amazing. It is countryish for privacy but really close to any and all amenities. I felt so fortunate to find this home away from home. What i almost overlooked, is that tucked away are gameboards and cards for people to continue to spend time to continue to relax - perhaps on their balcony?

Beautiful home in a quiet area

Very nice and cozy room. Friendly owners. Kitchen is not a full kitchen but good enough for easy meals and breakfast and there are very good owner suggestions for nearby restaurants. Good base for sightseeing the area and relax in the evening.

Very cute accommodation!!

We’ve stayed here before and love how peaceful the area is. Lovely house and we enjoy being greeted by the chickens. Royston is very close to Cumberland, Comox and Courtney and is a beautiful area.

Royston Roost was fabulous! We enjoyed everything about it—from hanging out on the balcony and listening to the crickets chirping to watching some TV in the air conditioned space after a day of being in the sun. The bed was comfy, the towels fluffy and we enjoyed having two sinks in the bathroom. We used the available hot plate to cook up our fresh eggs for breakfast. Laurie was super friendly and helpful.

Great stay at The Roost

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Royston Roost. The suite is tastefully decorated and everything is in pristine condition. The view from our private balcony was beautiful and peaceful. Laurie and Scott were wonderful hosts and always available to answer questions. We loved all their pets and appreciated the free range eggs. We look forward to our next visit!

Wonderful getaway

The room at Royston Roost is spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you might need for your perfect getaway. It is in a quiet neighbourhood but still close to towns such as Cumberland or Courteney. The owner is very friendly and helpful - we were even treated to some fresh eggs from their free ranging hens. Thanks to Laurie and Scott for providing this wonderful home away from home.
