We provide an after-hours emergency number to all of our guests for situations like these, and we encourage our guests to have it on hand as they check in, just to be safe. While it may be atypical to be asked to change the batteries yourself, this typically only takes about 60 seconds, and can be completed at your leisure instead of waiting for a member of our maintenance personnel to arrive. Regardless, we would have been happy to send a member of our team to assist you if you were uncomfortable replacing the batteries yourself!
