Beautiful well-equipped, Mountain View condominium located on a spectacular ocean cliff on Kauai’s pristine north shore. The condominium is tastefully furnished and has just had new tile installed through out the condo and one of the bathrooms was just redone. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with both a washer & dryer. There are beautiful mountain views with waterfalls and incredible sunsets off the lanai. Alii Kai I in the Princeville Resort is the gateway to an affordable and unforgetable Hawaiian Vacation. These condos are nice and private with good amounts of beautiful land surrounding them.

Golf: Our condo is located on the Princeville Resort, home to the beautiful Prince Course and the Makai Course.

Princeville at Hanalei is a quality recreational resort community. The Resort is situated on the Northeast corner of the Island of Kauai, 28 miles from the main airport of Lihue and just a few minutes from the Princeville Airport. Sitting on a high plateau it is surrounded by the ocean, Hanalei Bay, and the Bali-Hai Mountains. It's 1000 acres provides the framework for several excellent golf courses, tennis, horseback riding, swimming, snorkeling, etc. Scattered throughout the resort are areas of dedicated parkland, private homes, several condominium groupings, two hotels, and two golf courses. No commercial activity imposes on the environment. The island itself provides much in the way of natural beauty and phenomenon. The Bali-Hai Mountains, Waimea Canyon, its beaches, the blowhole, the slippery slide, Kiluaea Lighthouse, Fern Grotto, the dry and wet caves just to mention a few.

Wonderful. I guess anywhere in the island of Kauai meets this description.Property as described; excellent. A rating of 4 (could be 3), unit was not ready until 4:00 PM in the afternoon, making for a boring and tiresome long wait.

Great stay in Princeville

Condo is nice and well maintained. It is a few minutes from good shops and restaurants. Wendy is an excellent host with good communication to ensure we had all the information we needed.

Great Property in Princeville

This was the perfect property for us to stay at in Princeville, Kauai. We knew we would be spending limited time at the property due to all of the activities we had planned, so we didn't need to pay for all of the amenities at the pricey resorts. This property was perfect. Plenty of room, great location, clean and modern. We loved it.

Princeville was awesome. Easy check in, parking, and easy to get to Hanalei and Annini. Such a beautiful area. I love going to the pool at the end of a long hot day. It was nice having my own master and my sister got her own bathroom and bedroom. Everything was clean.

Paradise in Princeville

We stayed two weeks in this lovely condo. It is spacious, well decorated and has all that you would need. There were multiple ceiling fans and fans available. The host responded promptly to a question we had. We enjoyed the view of the mountains and the fabulous landscaping in the resort. The proximity to Hanalei was convenient. I would recommend this VRBO property.

Beautiful location

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bath property in an incredible location near some of the most beautiful pristine beaches in the world. This was a great value! Host communication was excellent and we appreciated the opportunity to stay here. We would definitely choose to stay in this condo again.

Princeville Paradise

Great place!! Well stocked and very clean. Really quiet all day. It's within walking distance to the local beach and the "town" center. It's also close to the nicest beach on Kaua'i, Kauapea Beach aka Secret Beach. You couldn't ask for much more. We will definitely be back for more.

Perfect place!

The condo didn’t have AC, but opening the windows and turning on the fans cooled it right down. It was roomy. The bathrooms and bedrooms were large and comfy mattresses. The only thing was we couldn’t get warm water on our last day there, so showers were cold and fast, but that may be a building thing. The view off the cliffs was spectacular and beautiful! If I ever get to go back to Kauai I will try this place again.

Quiet, pleasant stay

Nice place for family of four - 2 adults, 2 children 12 & 14. Space for everyone to find a nook for solitude. Never used TVs. Beds were comfortable and showers large with good water pressure. Nice washer/dryer, kitchen set-up. Clean. No water view, but nice Mountain View.

Relaxing Vacation

We booked Wendy's condo for our daughter's wedding, and it was a delightful stay. The condo was well situated, quiet, beautiful mountain views, clean, and provided all the essentials (including a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer), convenient access to all beaches (such as Hanalei, Anini, etc). However, we really could have used an AC, it was very humid day and night despite having fans in every room. Despite this we would choose Wendy's place again!!

We stayed in Princeville for the second half of our trip to Kauai for our honeymoon. Checking in & o it were easy! The condo is very clean. Beds are comfy! Having a full kitchen was nice. Expect the roosters and birds to be loud most of the day (we didn't mind it!). There's a short (but dangerous) trail near the condo that I recommend visiting, it takes you right on the right near the water! :) the views from the bedrooms are beautiful and you hear the ocean from the room :) highly recommend staying here.

Kauai getaway

The condo was homey and a great base camp on the north shore! I wish I would have known to ask if unit had A/C. Not a huge issue in the evenings but it was quite warm during the day even with windows open and all fans running. Not a deal breaker we were just surprised! Everything else about the condo was excellent! Would definitely recommend it!

Princeville Tranquility

The condo is clean and had plenty of room for my wife, son, and I. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms appear to have been recently renovated, newer flooring, and well-equipped kitchen. No A/C, but open windows and fans helped at night. We took advantage of the kitchen and charcoal grill to eat in and save some money eating out. The location is close to a Foodland grocery store, restaurants, and shops on the north shore. Also close to several beaches. The trail to Turtle Cove is right across the parking lot. The trail is steep and muddy but not difficult. It is worth it in my opinion. My wife enjoyed the chickens that stopped by every morning to say hi. We didn’t necessarily enjoy the roosters crowing before sunrise, but when you’re in paradise you can’t complain. The lanai closet is stocked with a few boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, snorkel sets, and other miscellaneous beach gear. The bedroom closets also had some snorkel gear, golf clubs (older set), and other miscellaneous recreational gear. I didn’t necessarily agree with the checkout cleaning requirements which I wasn’t aware of until about two weeks out from check-in. While the requirements are fairly reasonable and not the worst cleaning requirements I’ve experienced with a VRBO rental, when you pay a cleaning fee there should not be any cleaning required by the guests in my opinion. The checkout instructions state that there’s a garbage disposal, but there is not one. Would recommend it and would stay again.

Definitely in August, air conditioning would have been great! (It didn’t occur to me that AC was an option? Keep in mind that in Kauai it is!) but other than that, it was a gorgeous place! Gorgeous pool! Well stocked with amenities! Super clean! Stunning views! And if you are physically able and brave enough to traverse the Turtle Cave Trail, it is worth it! But be very careful! I did have to visit a local Chiropractor after due to a nasty fall!

This property just had all the carpets replaced with beautiful tile and one of the two bathrooms was just redone.
The master bedroom has all new furniture including a very comfortable new bed.
Everything was just redone and I haven’t been able to get new photos.
