We invite you to enjoy the peaceful, old-Hawaiian feel of Kauai’s North Shore and the upscale yet understated elegance of Princeville with a visit to our beloved home. Located on the 8th fairway of the world-class Makai golf course, our second story corner unit condominium, with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, boasts over 1500 sq. feet of comfortable elegance and the largest floor plan in Emmalani Court. Whip up a pineapple mojito and enjoy the breathtaking views of the fairway and the ocean beyond on our spacious lanai, or take a short stroll to the bluff and witness the spectacle of the sun sinking behind Bali Hai.

Recently updated, our home is painted in soothing tones of blue and sand. Modern stainless steel appliances in the well-equipped kitchen await your culinary creations—or barbecue by the pool and jacuzzi which are located conveniently across from our unit. Enjoy the open floor plan with lots of light from a myriad of windows with gorgeous views beyond.
The large master bedroom, with newly-remodeled private bath, has a king bed and opens onto the lanai. A convenient pocket door may be closed to separate this suite from the rest of the condo for privacy. The guest suite, with 2 twin beds and sunny window, also has its own full bath. Luxurious cotton linens and towels await. While we enjoy cooling tropical breezes year round, we are air-conditioned throughout (each room with separate controls) for your comfort.

We love our home for its location, location, location. Ideally located on the Princeville walking path, we are but a short walk to the world-class 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay with award-winning restaurants and spa, not to mention the Terrace Bar which has what we believe to be the best sunset views on the island, overlooking Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai. You can walk to secluded Hideaways beach for relaxation and fantastic snorkeling or to the Robert Trent, Jr. Makai Club Course for a challenging but breathtaking round of golf or a game of tennis. A short drive will take you to Princeville Center with a full-size supermarket, restaurants, shops, ice cream, and other conveniences, or to the charming town of Hanalei with a plethora of restaurants, nightlife, galleries and shopping. Hike to waterfalls, kayak a river, snorkel with turtles, whale-watch in winter, and enjoy miles of secluded beaches in the area that surrounds Princeville.

Our vacation home is perfect for the discerning traveler who wants relaxation or adventure—or a little of both. We want to personally make your stay in Kauai enjoyable and memorable in hopes that you will return for years to come!

Beautiful property, location was outstanding. Halfway between Hanalei and Kīlauea. The north part of the island is just beautiful. There was a fun art & live music festival by the golf course. The condo is spacious and has an open floor plan. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the rooms are spacious. Very relaxing to drink morning coffee and read a book on the lanai. Jeffrey was very communicative and easy to work with. Would stay here again in a heart beat!

Great Condo, Location and Host!

We had a wonderful stay on our stay at the condo. The location is excellent and is very close to beautiful beaches, shopping and dining. The property is very quiet and the grounds are beautiful. The condo is updated and equipped with everything that you would need for a week in Kauai. The property owner, Jeff was one of the nicest people that I have ever dealt with. We will be back for a return visit!

This was our first time back since our honeymoon, celebrating my oldest graduating high school. The condo was perfect for our family. The layout, the bedrooms, updated bathrooms, large lanai, the list goes on here. The best part was the location in Princeville. We couldn’t believe that we could walk to our favorite beaches, and even several restaurants, both for breakfast and dinner. Jeff, was amazing too. Check in was easy, and I appreciated him taking the time to check in on us. We will 100% be back. There is something special about the north shore of Kauai, and this condo felt like it was the perfect spot.

Perfect Stay!

Staying here felt like staying in someone's home, not a rental. Everything was fantastic from communication with the owner, cleanliness, proximity to stores and restaurants and was just calm and serene. Wished we could have stayed longer!

We're definitely coming back!

This was the perfect place for us! Amazing view, great amenities, lovely community. Really easy to walk to some of the best beaches in Princeville, and great coffee. Barely even drove around once we got there. If you are hesitating to book this place -- don't.

Beautiful place

We were pleasantly surprised with this place! Not only the condo itself, but the location! Short walks to watch the sun sets, or grab some pizza. Easy in and out location. Very comfortable bed and accommodations. It would be perfect for a family with two kiddos, as the front bedroom has two twins and its own bathroom, along with a door to partition the two spaces off! We loved the beautiful flowers on the grounds and all the geckos everywhere! They are so cute! You also have access to the pool, pool house and bbq’s. For a treat you can walk to the very end of the road to the 1 Hotel for a fancy breakfast or make reservations for dinner! It’s beautiful. We can’t wait to visit again! Thank you.

Princeville/north shore retreat

Second floor condo was bright, spacious for 4 adults and very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and had a beautiful view of the golf course. Beds were very comfortable and the pool, hot tub and grill were right across the street from the condo. There was ample parking. Jeffrey was easy to work with and responded immediately when an issue arose and promptly resolved it. Great, relaxing location to explore the north shore area. Really enjoyed the walking paths along the Main Street. Easy access to grocery store in area.

Girls trip

Myself and 3 girls friends stayed here in Princeville. The property location is in a very nice neighborhood and beautiful views and close beaches. The place itself is clean and spacious, and nicely decorated. There was a slight issue with check in, but I don’t want to spoil the review because the host Jeff was more than accommodating and did everything he should have to fix the situation. Long story short just be careful with the front door as it can lock without you realizing. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone. Close to the pool/hottub and Chris the property manager is very friendly and helpful as well. Kauai was a dream come true and I hope to be back one day!

Stayed here when hurricane was approaching

This was a beautiful rental with all the amenities. It's right on the golf course which my husband was thrilled about. Due to hurricane Lane we spent alot of time watching the weather. Jeff was awesome about calling and making sure we knew what to do and reassuring us the building was well built. The Foodland was close by so we stocked up on supplies. We didn't get the hurricane but did get tons of rain so we spent a good deal of time in the rental. I mistakenly bought whole bean coffee and was pleasantly surprised to find a coffee grinder! Jeff really has thought of everything. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Wonderful location.

Aloha (2018) or not? that is the question

Not much to complain about the apartment, it is spacious and well equipped, be careful though the ocean view is very "far" and the interior of the rooms is lined with a thick carpet, my wife allergic in has suffered greatly. I chose this rental given the praise of other comments with a contact friendly and attentive, about us none of it! not really spirit aloha 2018 When we left, we were given a deduction for a "cracked" coffee pot and a cleaning supplement for "child stickers" left by my 4 year old daughter on the carpet from the living room. Even if the amount seems negligible is petty, we were not provided with invoices, photos or evidence to explain this restraint, our contact simply stipulated by email that he was "fair and honest" It's very easy to say when no inventory is done on your arrival and after your departure we send you the list of objects to replace without any possibility of appeal, fortunately that our deposit was not 3000 $ we might have changed the fridge ! For the cleaning to believe his provider we left by the window so the place was dirty! however, I would like to point out that we are a civilized family, before leaving and as usual for a rental we carried out a number of stains (cleaned and tidy dishes, kitchen and bathrooms cleaned, trash out, and the famous stickers glued by my daughter on the living room table were taken off) but it was obviously not enough. Her (honest) cleaning company charged extra cleaning for stickers forgotten on the carpet of the living room arguing that they had spent twice as long to clean the apartment! it's just ridiculous (and not honest)!, What is the cleaning fee for when you leave?? to check that the tenants did the cleaning before leaving ? When we arrived the dishes were dirty we had to rewash them, the shower curtains and the bath in the master bedroom wore suspicious traces and the apartment stank of dust ! obviously his service provider is very selective about these extra charges! My tone is deliberately sarcastic, but to all the anxious and tormented not to have a bad surprise avoid this rental, if you unfortunately forget leaving a paper under the table in the living room you will certainly exceed the cost of cleaning because it is well known the paper ball is very complicated to pick up, all the others do pass a bailiff before you settle down to list the status of all equipment, it will also avoid surprises .

What a wonderful place! Jeff was more than welcoming and even reached out with a phone call when we first booked. The condo is spacious and perfect for a group or family. AC worked wonderfully and the sunsets from the condo were unmatched! Plenty of kitchen utensils, towels, beach chairs etc that are this a perfect stay!

The condo was in a perfect location for us. Much larger than appeared in photos. Easy to walk to a couple of beaches and resorts with excellent restaurants. Master bed was very comfortable and the updates in bathroom and kitchen were beautiful and well done. Host communicated with us from time of booking to check out. We have not experienced this kind of attention from other hosts. We are looking forward to rebooking in the future.

Best Stay Ever in Kauai!

This was hands down our favorite place we’ve stayed on the island. The property was super clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was amazing! It’s just a quick walk to swimming, snorkeling, and even a spectacular sunset view just steps from the property. What really made it special was how much the property owners cared and wanted to make sure we had a great vacation. It honestly felt like home, and we’re already hoping to come back! First time in Princeville

Great stay and wonderful condo!! It was the perfect location. Had some issues with the air conditioner in the living room but we were able to open windows and turn on ceiling fans to keep it comfortable. Communication with the property owner was amazing. They kept us updated on what was happening with the a/c. Both bedrooms had working air conditioners so sleeping at night was no issue. The pool was out of commission while we were there but we were notified in advance by the owner. Again, great communication. We weren't put out by this because we don't go to the islands to hang out at the pool. Fabulous stay and would book again and recommend!! Thank you, Jeff!!

Comfort & Location

This condo was so comfortable and the location was perfect! We were able to walk to area attractions and the grounds and neighboring golf course were beautiful. The bed was super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed, we also used the bbq area, which was so close. Parking was a breeze as well!The unit also had great views and we ate breakfast with the birds on the patio everyday. We definitely would stay here on our next trip to Kauai!! Should also mention that the beach chairs, umbrella and snorkel gear were much appreciated!!

Great Condo

Had everything we needed for our week stay. Ample food staples (condiments, coffee filters, spices) and beach gear- including snorkel sets, coolers, towels. Condo pool and hot tub were delightful after a busy day. Would stay again.

Spacious and Beautiful

Our stay at Jeffrey’s property was great. The property is an upstairs corner unit right off the 8th hole of the Princeville Makai Golf Course. The property was very peaceful. Never really noticed the other people living in the neighboring units. Bedrooms and living room are super spacious. Also a nice collection of beach going gear in the 2nd bedroom closet. Each evening of our stay we would walk along the golf cart paths towards the ocean and witness some amazing sunsets and views of Bali Hai. As a bonus, the albatross were nesting during our stay in a protected area along the path. Short driving distance away are Foodland grocery store and towns of Hanalei and Kīlauea which have fun restaurants.Communication with Jeffrey was great from the onset of making our reservation to after our stay ended. We had very minor issues that Jeffrey took care of immediately. I also want to recognize the on-site manager, Chris, who was amazing. He is extremely friendly and generous with recommendations for restaurants and activities.I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Princeville.

Having traveled the world for business and pleasure, the tranquility of Kauai's North Shore resonated with our desire for relaxation, beauty, and the charm of 'old Hawaii.' Waking up to the waterfalls cascading down mountains into lush foliage and ending the day with a glass of wine on the lanai watching the most spectacular sunset cannot be beat in the list of life's top experiences.

What makes this property unique

Location, Location, Location--one of the best in Princeville. Emmalani is a newer complex, well maintained with beautiful landscaping. The pool/spa area is new and nearby, which is convenient with kids or when barbecuing. We can easily walk to the Princeville Resort, Hideaways Beach, Queens Bath, and the Makai Course. A short drive sends us on a helicopter ride (not to be missed), riding or ziplining at Princeville Stables, snorkeling at Ke'e, Tunnels, or Anini beaches, or hiking the Kalalau trail on the Napali with waterfalls galore. After a day's adventure, we can be found barbecuing a fresh catch at the poolside grills, while the kids swim, and then enjoying the feast on our spacious lanai while recounting who saw the most sea turtles that day. Our home allows us (and you!) an escape to true paradise without leaving the comforts and luxuries behind.
