I am writing for my nephew and wife for whom I gifted the stay at the Ali’ i Kai. They were both pleased with the accommodations, particularly after delivery of a couple more fans. My understanding is that it was unusually humid in the island that week.

Generally a comfortable and nice stay. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we were able to make everything we found work for us cooking wise. The pool was a short walk and warm. The on island property manager was responsive and helpful. We loved all the water equipment/gear, if you are only staying there no need to rent snorkel gear they have it all! The washing machine is ridiculously loud so if you have kids who are light sleepers don't plan on doing laundry at night.

Location was great. Property was for the most part clean. Cushions on couch updated and clean. Towels and linens could use a refresh. Kitchen counters are updated. Had to buy baking soda to deodorize fridge and freezer.No air conditioning. Washer and dryer was smelly and old.Coffee maker kept spilling grounds into coffee.Carpet felt dingy.Showers are dark so you can’t tell if clean.You will run into a few geckos.Nice to have beach supplies: chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling. Despite the issues listed, good place to stay. We enjoyed staying in Princeville.

We’ve been to the island many times. During this trip we spent 1/2 our time here and everything was perfect. When we did have questions about the unit, the staff was super responsive. I thank you for making this portion of our trip as relaxing as possible. Mahalo

Great Stay and Location

Perfect spot for exploring the North Shore of Kauai. Food and beaches just minutes away. My family also took advantage of the on-site pool and hot tub. Would stay here again.
