The location of this house is indeed exceptional: 200 meters from an adorable beach where you can swim, fish or just be amazed by our majestic cliffs, 200 meters from the hiking trail elected most beautiful hiking trail of the year 2020, a few kilometers from Etretat. ...and many other wonderful places listed in the binder available to you in the cottage. A wonderful place to stay near the beach

A very cosy and quiet accommodation with a nice seating area outside, surrounded by flowers. The beach and the GR hiking trail are just a few minutes' walk away. The hostess Agnes is very friendly, takes great care of her guests and the communication was also perfect. A highly recommended accommodation.

The Old’uns Visit Les Grandes Dalles

As soon as we arrived at the Gite we were met by our lovely Host Agnes and we were made to feel welcome, safe and cared for. The Gite was very comfortable and had an effective heating system which coped well with the weather expected at this time of year. Self catering was easy although we ate out on occasions. The low level of traffic on the local roads, also the peace and quiet in the immediate area was an added bonus for us that ensured that we came home refreshed and rejuvenated. Thankyou Agnes and Jacky for your care and attention.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The cottage was very comfortable and cosy. The garden was pretty and well kept. A lovely place to sit and relax and wave to passing neighbours. Parking on the property was a bonus.Les Grandes Dalles is a great base to explore the surrounding area and further afield. There are lots of markets in the surrounding villages. We particularly loved Valmont where there is a small nature reserve. We enjoyed walking along the stream and feeding the ducks. My little granddaughter's favourite place.Agnes was an outstanding host, very warm and friendly. She was very approachable and felt we could contact her if we needed anything. Her English was far superior to our French!The beach is a short walk at the end of the road and a lovely place for an evening stroll. There is a fantastic boulangerie where we bought far too many croissants and pastries. There is also an epicerie selling lovely cheeses, a short drive away.The drive from Dieppe ferry port was very straightforward. The roads were quiet and well signposted.Overall we had a wonderful stay at Agnes' charming cottage and exploring this beautiful part of Normandy. We can't recommend it highly enough. Perfect holiday

This was the perfect location for our first family foreign holiday which we and the kids enjoyed immensely. Les Grandes Dalles is a beautiful hamlet and, pebbles aside, having the beach at the bottom of the street was ideal. It should be noted that, one small cafe aside, there aren't any shops or businesses within Grandes Dalles itself; there are a few shops in Sassetot a mile or so away, and Carrefour supermarkets at Cany Barville and Valmont - about 20 mins drive to each. There are a few more amenities at Les Petites Dalles and a slightly bigger beach. Les Grandes Dalles a great place from which to explore this corner of Normandy and we made excursions to Etretat, Veules-les-Roses, Veulletes-sur-Mer, Fecamp, Valmont - all beautiful. We even managed to have one night in Paris (via train from Fecamp). The outdoor space was perfect for the kids and the house itself was well-appointed. (one minor concern was that the freezer wasn't cold enough to keep ice cream frozen!) Agnes was a responsive, sensitive and lovely host, responding to any issues ASAP and helping us retrieve some lost property that we left on our departure. Overall we really recommend a stay here, including to British people - the road from the ferry terminal at Dieppe is quick and quiet.

Wir haben die Woche in dem gemütlichen Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Das etwas in die Jahre gekommene Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat einen zauberhaften Garten. Der Weiler Les Grandes Dalles ist absolut ruhig und für einen entspannten Urlaub bestens geeignet. Das WLAN funktioniert hervorragend, allerdings sind im TV nur französische Sender zu empfangen. Absatz Einkaufsmöglichkeiten liegen etwa 3 km entfernt. Absatz die Ausstattung der Küche war ausreichend für zwei Personen. Wenn mehr Gäste im Haus wohnen, wird es etwas knapp. Absatz unsere Gastgeber waren ein sehr herzliches, freundliches und hilfsbereites Ehepaar. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Wij hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in de accommodatie van Agnes. Het was een prachtig huis, zowel van buiten als van binnen. Les Grandes Dalles is ook een heel leuk klein plaatsje en vlakbij prachtige kliffen. De communicatie met Agnès verliep ook erg goed. We komen graag weer een keer terug!

Une très jolie maison dans un charmant village ! Le logement est bien équipé, spacieux et joliment décoré. Nous nous y sommes tout de suite sentis à l'aise et y avons passé de très bons moments. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la proximité de la mer, mais aussi le jardin très agréable pour profiter du soleil (avec un parasol pour se protéger, bien sûr !). Nous étions avec notre fille de 2 ans et la maison est très bien équipée pour les bébés : chaise haute, baignoire, tapis à langer et surtout un vrai lit à barreaux, beaucoup mieux qu'un lit parapluie ! Notre petite a adoré jouer dans le jardin (bien clos, pour le soulagement des parents !) Il y a aussi beaucoup d'activités pour enfants dans la région : aire de jeux en face de la plage (moins de 5 min à pied), piscine de Cany-Barville (20 min), visite de la chèvrerie d'Auberville-la-Manuel (15 min), base de loisirs du lac de Caniel (20 min), parc de jeux indoor "Village de Jazzy" à Fécamp (20 min).Pour les courses, les grands magasins sont à 20 min en voiture (Fécamp ou Cany-Barville), mais il y a aussi des petits commerces plus proches (épicerie, boulangerie, pharmacie) à Sassetot, à 5 min en voiture (ou 30 min à pied).Un dernier mot pour remercier Agnès, la propriétaire, pour sa gentillesse, son accueil chaleureux et ses recommandations qui nous ont permis de passer un très agréable séjour. Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine pour tenter un bout du GR21 et découvrir le reste de la région !

Vous avez tout à fait raison de vouloir profiter du GR situé à 200 mètres du gîte : il longe la côte du Tréport jusqu'au Havre sur 180 kms et est magnifique . Les paysages y sont très variés entre la côte sauvage , les plages , les ports et parfois l'interieur des terres . Il est d'un niveau très accessible et de nombreuses étapes sont possibles . Vous recevoir fut un réel plaisir et j'espère vous revoir avec grand plaisir ! Agnès

La cuisine est chichement equipee( pas de grille pain, vaisselle couverts dépareillés. )Parking impeccable, mobilier qui a bien vecu. L'ensemble meriterait un petit rafraîchissement. PAR CONTRE ON A EU FROID, LA LOCATION DE 8KWH PAR JOUR EST NETTEMENT INSUFFISANTE, 12 SERAIT MIEUX.

Bonjour , je suis sincèrement désolée que nous n'ayez pas apprécié vos vacances . Effectivement , le grille pain ne fait pas partie de la liste des ustensiles fournis . Il y a un grand four ( dont vous vous êtes servi ) , un micro onde , une bouilloire , un lave vaisselle .une cafetière électrique filtre , 4 plaques électriques , 3 plaques gaz , ..mais pas de grille pain . Vous avez à votre disposition deux services de vaisselle ( un en grès et un autre en faïence) . Le mobilier et l'ensemble de la décoration date des années 1970 / 1980 . Ce n'est pas de la décoration d'une grande enseigne suédoise . Il faut aimer cette période pour l'apprécier . Je mets un point d'honneur à entretenir ce mobilier ancien qui , pour moi , a un charme certain et me rappelle de très bons souvenirs . Le matelas , lave vaisselle , four sont très récents . Pour le forfait électricité , il correspond aux conseils avisés de Gîte de France , soit 8 kw /jour . Il a fait très beau mais très froid en cette fin d'Avril ( nous grattions le pare brise le matin) . Vous auriez peut être du allumer les radiateurs ... Votre consommation a été très modeste vu que vous chargiez tous les soirs votre voiture électrique : 35 euros pour une semaine , 4 personnes . Je pense que cela correspond aux charges de la batterie de voiture .

Küche war voll ausgestattet, 2 Bäder/WCs für 4 Erwachsene ideal.Möglichkeit 4 E-Bikes unterzustellen und zu Laden.Ideal für eine ruhige Zeit - 200m zum Strand.2 Bäcker für frisches Baguette und Croissants gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen.Gute Ausgangsbasis für Besuche von Dieppe, Neufchatel en Bray, Fecamp, Etretat, Seine-Schleifen und Honfleur. Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in diesem liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus verbracht. Agnès ist eine großartige Gastgeberin, die sehr herzlich, aufmerksam und zuverlässig ist. Das Haus selbst ist sehr sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Besonders schön ist auch die ruhige Lage in dem kleinen Ort und dass man in wenigen Minuten ganz entspannt zum Meer geschlendert ist. Wir werden gerne an die schöne Zeit zurück denken.

We hadden een heerlijke week in Les Grandes Dalles. Agnes is een voortreffelijke gastvrouw, ze is goed te bereiken en zeer vriendelijk. Het charmante huisje was perfect voor een klein gezin en het pittoreske dorpje is voor stadse mensen zoals wij hemels. Wij zouden hier zeler terugkomen.

Gute Basis zur Erkundung der Alabasterküste

Das alte, im regionalen Stil erbaute Feriendomizil bietet eine gute Basis, die Alabasterküste zu erkunden. Man ist nach ca 400 m am Wasser und kann gut wandern. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, die (französischen) Betten waren bequem. Es gibt ein renoviertes und ein eher enges Duschbad. Bei der Küchenausstattung ist noch Luft nach oben. Die einzige Straße ist vor allem am am Wochenende regelmäßig befahren.

Von der Gastgeberin wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und sehr umfassend über die Unterkunft informiert. Es gab eine Mappe mit viel Information über die örtlichen Gegebenheiten, wie Märkte, Fischhallen und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Ferienhaus war überkomplett ausgestattet und war von einem malerischen Garten umgeben. Die Lage des Hauses war perfekt, 200m vom Strand entfernt. Nous avons découvert la côte d'Albatre avec les falaises d' Etretat, les musées de Fecamp...La région est très vivifiante.Plage de galets.La maison, traditionnelle, était très accueillante.Je recommande.

Nos falaises sont impressionnantes et majestueuses . Le spectacle change chaque jour en fonction de l’ensoleillement, de la marée …on ne s’en lasse pas . La proximité du gîte , a 200 mètres de la plage et de ses hautes falaises permet d’y aller très souvent et même d’apprécier le superbe coucher du soleil . A très bientot. Agnès

Erholsame Osterwoche in der Normandie

Ein charmantes Haus mit sehr gemütlicher Ausstattung und einem wunderschönen Garten. Die Lage ist ideal, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Steinstrand entfernt. Besonders genossen haben wir die ruhige Umgebung und den malerischen Klippenweg zum Nachbarort. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in den umliegenden Orten sind bequem mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die persönliche Schlüsselübergabe durch die sehr freundliche Vermieterin, die uns herzlich empfangen und mit wertvollen Tipps versorgt hat, war ein echtes Plus. Auch unsere Kinder haben sich hier rundum wohlgefühlt. Wir blicken auf eine sehr erholsame Woche mit vielen schönen Eindrücken zurück.

Ich freue mich, dass Sie einen erholsamen Urlaub in unserem Ferienhaus hatten. Angenehm ist die umgebende Ruhe, lediglich der Gesang der Vögel stört. Der 200 Meter vom Ferienhaus entfernte Wanderweg ist eine wahre Augenweide: Er verläuft direkt an der Küste entlang und bietet Ihnen je nach Tageszeit ein anderes Schauspiel. Effectivement , on oublie la voiture et on part directement sur le magnifique sentier de randonnée qui longe le littoral : un régal pour les yeux . Wunderschönes Haus mit einer herzlichen Gastgeberin

Den lobenden Worten der anderen Rezensionen können wir uns nur anschließen. Wir haben eine schöne und erholsame Zeit in diesem gemütlichen und liebevoll eingerichteten Häuschen verbracht. Immer mit freundlicher Unterstützung der aufmerksamen Gastgeberin Agnes. Vielen Dank noch mal für die köstliche Marmelade! Leider konnten wir den schönen Garten im Oktober nicht mehr benutzen, aber vielleicht können wir das irgendwann einmal im Sommer nachholen.

Mooi authentieke cottage

Mooi rustieke cottage met een mooi terras en ruime tuin. Auto kan op terrein geplaatst worden. Rustig gelegen op 200 meter van een kiezelstrand met aan weerszijden de mooie rotsen. voor uitstapjes met de auto goed gelegen tussen Dieppe en Etretat. Wij hebben er een hele fijne week gehad.
