About this property

Cozy riverfront cabin on Ossipee River

Nestled among the trees along the Ossipee River, this new, clean log cabin includes the use of our tandem kayak. Or just sit by the fire and watch the river go by.

Just a 12 minute drive to shops and dining in quaint Cornish. Day trip options are endless: Portland, Sebego Lake, Ogunquit, Lake Winnipesaukee, Portsmouth, the White Mountains, Kennebunkport ...

Downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, and brew pub tours will keep you busy during the winter months, when you’ll come home to an easy-to-use wood stove and full kitchen.

The cabin is small and cozy, ideal for one or two couples (although we’ve had plenty of guests sleep on the futon.)

The master bedroom includes a king-sized bed, while the second bedroom features a bunk bed. Two guests may sleep on the futon.

Perfect getaway
Nice way to spend some quality time with family. The snow played spoilsport, but the cabin was well stocked with firewood and the fireplace was the perfect place for family to sit around and enjoy. Kudos to the owner for having thought of every small details in and around the cabin.

Cozy cabin winter getaway
The cozy riverside cabin getaway far exceeded pur expectations. My girlfriend and I decided to have a winter getaway from South Florida for a little bit and we were definitely not disappointed. The attention to detail concerning the interior of the cabin, and cozy atmosphere, to the location in the small, quaint town of Parsonsfield, the cabin to impress anyone staying there. We were even fortunate enough to have 8 inches of powdery snowfall on arrival at which time we went outside and played like children, to include building a snowman. The simplicity of the check-in procedures and detailed instructions for check out, are a testament to Teresa and Dan’s attentiveness toward their guests. We will definitely be back. Thank you again Teresa and Dan

Respite by the river
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The quaint, well-stocked home was clean and warmed by a very efficient wood burning stove. The view of the river right outside was beautiful. This very warm home provided a welcome escape from the city for a few days. I imagine it would be all the more enjoyable in the summer. Theresa, our host, provided a concise, clear instructional email on all the workings of the house, as well as local restaurant recommendations. Very enjoyable experience.

House hunting
My wife and I were in Maine looking to buy a vacation home. The cabin was the perfect spot to relax after hectic days of viewing homes. We were here during the off season but managed a bonfire one evening. This riverfront rental would be absolutely perfect for a summer vacation filled with kayaking, cookouts, fishing, and just lounging around watching the river flow by. The outdoor speakers were a plus and added to our night by the firepit.

Delightful Maine getaway. All we could have hoped for
A cozy and well kept cabin with all needed amenities and then some. Had of the feel of being away from it all whilst still being near places to go and eat. Beautiful property situated along the Ossipee River. It was great to spend a day making breakfast, enjoying a fire and hanging out. Hope to be back before long.
