Create lifelong memories at this beautiful property. With western exposure the sunsets are stunning and star gazing by the fire is simply extraordinary. Our expansive level shoreline, incredible play yard and wonderful sand beach are perfect for all ages. You won’t find better swimming. The lake is ideal for all water sports year round. Fishing for all species is outstanding. Whether fishing, boating, waterskiing, swimming, or just relaxing by the lake, you’ll love every minute. Amenities include a great sand beach, swim raft, water slide, Lily float mat, incredible lakeside fire pit, free firewood, custom hammocks, lounge chairs, outdoor dining, Weber gas grill, stand up boards, kayaks, huge play yard, outdoor tournament ping pong, horseshoes, corn hole toss game, a private dock, boat and outboard motor, fish cleaning shack and so much more. Set among towering pine trees, the Walleye Cottage is a brand new custom built four season waterfront home. The Walleye Cottage is the epitome of luxury, comfort and Northwoods lake living! It features central air and heat. Large bay windows offer wonderful views of Meta Lake, illuminating the locally milled pine shiplap interior.

The Walleye Cottage was carefully designed and meticulously decorated to provide a warm, inviting space for your family and friends. The spacious Northwoods interior provides an open style lakeside living room and gorgeous stone fireplace. The gourmet kitchen and lake view sitting room is blanketed in natural light. Brand new stainless steel appliances include a full size refrigerator, microwave, disposal, automatic dishwasher and natural gas range. The fully stocked locally crafted kitchen cabinets are a dream-come-true for home cooks. The incredible screened porch offers a shaded haven to be enjoyed throughout the day. The porch includes beautiful wicker chairs and a wrought iron dining table, as well as gracious seating areas to relax and enjoy.

The Walleye Cottage has four bedrooms and two bathrooms and comfortably sleeps 12. The master bedroom has breathtaking lake views, a king bed, walk in closet, hickory furnishings and an attached bathroom. Bedroom 2 has an Amish made barn wood bunk bed with a queen bottom and double top. Bedrooms 3 and 4 have queen beds. There are also two comfortable sleep sofas, a full-size washer/dryer and a large mud room with separate entrance to store your gear. Linens and towels are provided for your use.

The Walleye Cottage is surrounded by natural beauty year-round. Our community has over 2,000 glacially created lakes, 72 crystal clear rivers and streams, millions of acres of pristine public forests, and unique villages and townships. Enjoy year-round trails in the heart of our forests, from hiking, jogging, and biking to winter sports. The fall colors are simply inspiring. Held each October, the Cranberry Festival is famous for its hospitality, entertainment, food, arts, crafts and events. The winter beauty is stunning and there are lots of recreational activities.
