We had a great time, as stated the only annoying issue was the flies, we live on a cattle ranch so we are kind of used to it, but chicken farms always seem to have fly issues that effect the surrounding properties. We have stayed at Blue Sky Cabins several times and have always had great experience with your staff, very friendly and always helpful!
We were looking for a family vacation that kept us away from crowded beaches and towns due to Covid and we decided Ellijay would be perfect. It was and this farmhouse was a delight! It fit the five of us comfortably. The hot tub was so nice after an afternoon of hiking. The swing bed in the porch was great for reading and for watching the afternoon storms roll in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would recommend it to everyone and would absolutely book again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Magnolia in the Mountains was a great spot for kids.
Magnolia in the Mountains was a great spot for kids. The home was stocked with games and books. The yard was large and provided hours of soccer playing. The small creek was fun to go walk next to. The fire pit was great. The gas fireplace was so convenient for warming up quickly after a day outside. This pet friendly home checked many boxes for our needs. We will be back!

This was just the break our family needed after isolating for months due to COVID-19. The Farm House is very well maintained and clean. We had no worries about cleanliness when we walked in. The entire home was very inviting. My kids really enjoyed the play area upstairs. It was their escape from the parents. We spent several nights around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and cooking different foods. It was a great experience and we definitely want to return.

The property exceeded expectations.
The property exceeded expectations. Very tastefully decorated; comfortable. Wonderful kitchen, exceptional bathrooms and bedrooms - most comfortable mattress ever. Property was beautiful. Total experience was exceptional. Loved the history of the farmhouse. Definitely will stay here again. Attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Very relaxing! Team was excellent! Knowledge about the property and area. Helpful and returned calls promptly. Exceptional service.
Wow, this was a great stay. House is cozy. We appreciated the gas fireplace, the functionality of the kitchen, and the close-by stream. We stayed in late October - so we enjoyed stoping at the apple houses as we came into town. They are just a couple of mile away. We did not use the outdoor bed swing or hot tub- but they are nicely set and easily usable. This house is not fancy but it is VERY nice and had plenty of extras that made it feel special and like a treat. They mowed the short path to the stream and we enjoyed sitting by the stream and just chatting. Again, not fancy but soooo beautiful in its natural setting. The firepit is currently not usable but that didn’t matter to us. Kitchen is well stocked. Would and will stay here again!!

Perfect location on a beautiful piece of property.
Perfect location on a beautiful piece of property. No mountain views and not the mountain cabin feel if that's what you're looking for. It's quiet and private. Beautiful creek running along the property. Large fire pit, nice hot tub. Great front porch to sit on and watch the kids play. Great yard for football throwing, soccer ball kicking, tossing a baseball, playing tag, corn hole. The kids (young) rode scooters on the deep front porch. It was a great place to disconnect and spend quality time together. Also, the location is central to so many things to do- hikes, trails, waterfalls, farms, wineries, apple orchards! When I called after booking to go over the amount of people staying, whoever I spoke with (female) was so kind and warm. She was great to talk to and work with.
Property is just as described and more. We arrived after a long drive from FL, but we were rejuvenated when we arrived. The house is beautiful, everything was well thought out. It is on the mountain and we arrived at night. Thankfully lights were on and so was the heat. We appreciated the dog bed and everything else. Overall we loved the property, not a single disappointment.

A great house and interesting history I did not speak with any member of your staff.
This is our second time staying here. It’s a beautiful home and we did enjoy our stay over all. Unfortunately there was a strong musty smell the moment we walked in. It was a as if wet clothes were left in the wash too long but we checked and couldn’t find the source. We were disappointed the grass was so over grown we couldn’t set out lawn chairs we brought out or even throw the tennis ball for our pup as it would disappear and she couldn’t find it. It also made taking her to go potty a challenge as she’s a small 13lb dog and the grass was almost a foot high in most places. The grass had over grown the side walk to the spa at least a foot in. I can’t imagine it was cut in 3-4 weeks. We still love being up there as it’s a beautiful home and property to getaway and unwind. But the grass was a huge disappointment as we had been there before and was expecting to have a similar experience of sitting outside enjoying the lawn and listening to the birds. The only other recommendation I have is to have a better sitting option in the downstairs living room. I would love to come up again in the fall with my parents but with only one couch it doesn’t make lounging and watching movies enjoyable when you have to sit in a more formal sitting chair. Two sofas would be so much better. Same for upstairs. A love seat vs the oversized chair would be a better option to allow a more lounging relaxing time. Again we love the home and will be back, just a few suggestions to make the experience as best as possible.
