About this property

Historic villa in the seaside resort of Morgat

This house is one of the first houses of the station, built for the personal account of Armand Peugeot in the late nineteenth century. He would himself drew the plans. The other three houses near the Armand Peugeot Avenue are built to the same period: Reseda (currently Eulec'h Ker), Pervenche (now Ker Skrill) and Coquette (currently The Verres). The architecture of the villa Kador reminiscent of houses built in the East of France, region of origin of Peugeot, especially with its high roofs. As the majority of villas built even side of the street it is aligned directly on the Armand Peugeot Avenue to enjoy the slope of the land and be at the highest point of the plot to enjoy the panorama offered by bay. The facade offering views of the sea has almost ten openings oriented advanced Rulianec and a covered terrace, with valance and railing to the left of the façade. Several openings have awnings. The villa Kador plays with recesses and slate roofs. The rendered walls and brick frames are painted white. Inside the villa has not changed until today, maintaining its wooden floors. On the eve of World War II, Robert Grenier, optician in Brest, becomes its owner. It now belongs to one of his son. Renovated in 2015.

Das Haus liegt wunderschön oberhalb des Strands von Morgat mit herrlichem Meerblick. Die Ausstattung der KĂŒche ist perfekt, es ist alles vorhanden um selbst mehrgĂ€ngige MenĂŒs zu kochen. Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer und Schlafzimmer sind gemĂŒtlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Dank der gut funktionierenden Heizung war das Haus trotz der kalten Witterung warm und gemĂŒtlich. Die SchlĂŒsselĂŒbergabe und die Kommunikation mit Eric war unkompliziert und freundlich. Wir wĂŒrden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Une valeur sûre

Séjour exceptionnel dans cette maison mélant le charme d'antan et une décoration actuelle, au goût sûr. Une cuisine super équipée, une vaste salle à manger et les produits de la presqu'ßle ont fait la joie de nos dßners et petits déjeuners face à la baie de Morgat, spectacle sans cesse renouvelé ! L'accÚs à pied à la plage est le petit plus pour rejoindre la baie au gré de nos envies et que j'imagine idéal avec des enfants. Un verre au Grand hotel de la mer ou une gauffre chez Landié, une randonnée au départ du port de Morgat et tout ça à pied de la maison... Nous reviendrons.

Tolles Haus mit viel Charme

Wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit in dem großartig ausgestatteten Haus. An die etwas laute Straße gewöhnt man sich schnell bei diesem herrlichen Blick auf Bucht und Meer. Sehr nett und hilfsbereit ist auch der Verwalter de Hauses, Eric.

Maison historique avec du charme mais dans son jus

Cette maison historique Ă  deux pas de la plage a beaucoup de cachet et une trĂšs belle vue sur la plage de Morgat. Elle est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e au niveau vaisselle et cuisine. Les chambres Ă  coucher sont de belles tailles mais l’agencement du rez-de-chaussĂ©e et le mobilier massif et sombre donnent l’impression que les piĂšces Ă  vivre sont exiguĂ«s et il peut ĂȘtre difficile de manger Ă  huit. Pas mal de meubles et Ă©taient en moyen voir mauvais Ă©tat - peut-ĂȘtre que quelques rĂ©parations et un peu de customization pourraient les aider Ă  les remettre au goĂ»t du jour. Les salles de bain Ă©taient fonctionnelles. Selon nous, la plus belle piĂšce est la vĂ©randa avec une superbe vue sur la mer et le jardin mais elle n’est pas vraiment mise en valeur - dommage. De plus, par temps gris, nous avions une impression d’humiditĂ©. La maison Ă©tait propre Ă  notre arrivĂ©e mais sans plus et le jardin pas trĂšs bien entretenu. Par contre Eric - le gĂ©rant - nous a accueilli trĂšs chaleureusement et a toujours rĂ©pondu rapidement Ă  nos messages. TrĂšs bonnes recommandations de restaurant Ă©galement. Merci! Au final nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour et la presqu’üle de Crozon est magnifique! Nous avons adorĂ© la localisation, le charme extĂ©rieur de la maison mais elle est aurait besoin d’une rĂ©novation, d’un meilleur entretien et nous ne la recommanderions pas avec des enfants en bas-Ăąge (nombreux escaliers).

This is a large and externally beautiful old house situated in a prime location in Morgat

A two week summer holiday for an extended family of 6 adults and 4 children. We had an really excellent holiday and the house had plenty of space for us all and was generally well equipped for cooking and meals. The good sized garden facing the sea was fine for the children to run around and evening barbecues. Mostly we enjoyed our stay in this large characterful house, and I would recommend it for a large group. All the rooms are big, light and airy. However, we felt internally it was a bit neglected and not maintained to a standard that reflected the rental cost. We took our own bedding and towels as I thought the cost of hiring was too much. I have never paid extra before. I was also unhappy about paying €80 for cleaning as the house wasn't very clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were fine, but cupboards, floors and windows were not to a standard I expect, not to mention the cobwebs.

TrĂšs grande villa avec une vue imprenable sur la magnifique baie de morgat une commune qui nous a plus que charmer . Les gens y sont agrĂ©ables, trĂšs belle activitĂ© proposer dont la visite des grottes de morgat c spectaculaire autant pour les parents que pour les enfants. Retour chaleureux dans cette grande maison oĂč l apero est agrĂ©able dans la vĂ©randa avec cette magnifique vue Ă  noter qu il y a une platine vinyl parfait pour Ă©couter du jazz. Seul petit bĂ©mol a rectifier prĂ©voir une barriĂšre de sĂ©curitĂ© pour les bebe au niveau des escaliers. Sinon il y a tt sur place pour passer un moment inoubliable...

Un week-end de charme

Nous avons tous (trois gĂ©nĂ©rations) adorĂ© cette demeure construite Ă  la fin du XIXĂšme siĂšcle, oĂč charme ancien et modernitĂ© s'allient pour offrir Ă  ses habitants de passage l'accueil et le confort souhaitĂ©s. On y est bien. La plage est juste lĂ , devant. Le jardin nous accueille avec sa table de ping-pong, les bancs nous invitent au farniente et de la vĂ©randa, on contemple la mer... Et puis, on est tout prĂšs de Morgat, du port... De l'Ă©tage, la vue est tout simplement extraordinaire... On peut revenir ?

Belle demeure mais un peu juste car nous étions 8 avec nos amis. Les piÚces communes ne sont pas assez grandes pour accueillir tout le monde - salon et salle à manger. Pour ce qui es des chambres pas de problÚme. Bien placée en face de la plage. Un bémol pour le chauffage qui n'est pas compris dans le prix, la maison étant chauffée avec des convecteurs électriques et ne sachant pas combien cela allait coûter à la fin du séjour on a chauffé modérément et avons eu froid dans la maison pendant le séjour.. le prix du chauffage finalement a été de 30 euros .. il aurait mieux fallu l'intégrer dans le prix initial. ...à ce niveau de prix,cela aurait était mieux. 5 étoiles pour notre hÎte Eric qui a été trés sympa avec pleins de conseils utiles (créperie,..).

Ein sehr schönes Haus, das viel von seinem ursprĂŒnglichen Charme behalten hat. Wir haben uns hier bei wunderbar sonnigem Septemberwetter sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und dabei auch den schönen Garten genossen. Der Meerblick und die NĂ€he zum Strand sind toll. La maison est trÚs agréable, fonctionnelle et bien équipée. Elle a néanmoins gardé tout le charme des anciennes maisons de famille. Accueil et conseils de M. Le Briz vous assureront un excellent séjour.
