My family had an amazing stay at this cabin! Dawn and Reed were great hosts and very accommodating to our late arrival. Everything was spotless and smooth from check-in to check-out. We will definitely visit again!
If you are looking for complete peace and quiet, relaxation, and calm this is the place for you. Tons of little shops in town that’s 15 minutes away, a casino for some night life 20 minutes away and nature all around you to rest and recharge. Hosts are amazing and wonderful people as well. It was nice to be in a place so calm for a weekend.
We booked this cabin at first due to the close location to the beautiful Pavillion by the Pond venue for an out of town wedding, but we soon fell in love with the location, the peaceful area, the wildlife we saw, the ease of booking and messaging the owners, and the pleasant welcome we received, not to mention the overall "homie" atmosphere. The locals at the Antler Winery were very pleasant, helpful, and served us the BEST tasting food. I can honestly say that we will consider taking our family back for an extended vacation in the future! Well done Dawn & Reed, a definite diamond in the rough!
The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It was secluded and very well kept. The owners were very nice and accommodating. If you want a nice getaway this is your spot.
Reed and Dawn were great hosts. The cabin is just as advertised. Everything we could have needed to unpack and not leave the cabin for our two week stay is provided if that is what you choose to do. Would recommend and definitely stay again.
Off the beaten path and we loved every minute of it!! The ride in was great. We saw so much wildlife. The place was so cute and we enjoyed it so much!!
Despite there only being one bathroom, we made it work. All of our party has said that they would stay here again. We all loved the seclusion and interaction with the deer.
This property was exactly what we were looking for. We rented the property for an extended weekend for a family wedding. It had all of the amenities that we needed. The host was very friendly and helpful. We are from Florida so the wild life was abundant and different from our own. We highly recommend this property.
We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cabin and the wildlife. We have no complaints and would return for another stay. Only recommendation would be to have reading lights in the living and bedroom.
If you want a secluded place, then this place is for you. Not too far from things to do however far enough off the beaten path that you are secluded. The place is exactly how described. The bathroom is on the little side however that is the only thing you can even complain about. The host is amazing and will answer you right away with any questions you have.
Was very peaceful! The owners are very nice and friendly. All you had to do was text them with any questions and got a quick responds back. Very clean! Will book again.
The cabin was beautiful, clean, & quiet, with a list of great places to visit in the surrounding areas. They were very helpful with any questions we had. My husband and I booked this as an anniversary trip & this rental exceeded our expectations! If we’re ever in the area again, this will be the place we stay! Thanks again to the owners for such a beautiful getaway!
If you’re looking for a nice, quiet getaway to relax this private cabin is your place! Reed and Dawn are excellent hosts and their cabin is absolutely beautiful! There are a lot of gravel roads out there so don’t take your Sunday driver.
It is unfair that this cabin should get even one bad review. Upon arrival the host was kind and courteous. That was the first and last interaction with him. The cabin is not done justice through the pictures posted. We stepped into another world when we crossed the threshold. All modern on the inside, this 3 bedroom cabin can be home away from home. A very clean, inviting and private location with all the necessary amenities. The hot water worked.
The surrounding towns offer lots of activities which the host so kindly listed by distance and time. Take a walk early in the morning and breathe in all the wonderful crisp country air.
We will return to this cabin and will definitely recommend.
