About this property

A charming detached house with a pool on a historical winemaking estate

The beautiful detached building from the turn of the 19th century was completely renovated in spring 2015. It is nestled in the heart of the private hamlet of Château de La Vernède, one of Languedoc's most well-known organic wine regions.
Its 160-sq.m surface area is fully air-conditioned. This house was renovated in-keeping with tradition. It boasts a ground floor with a fully fitted kitchen, a laundry room, a guest WC, and a large 55-sq.m living / dining room with a white stone fireplace from the 1700s.
Upstairs, the three bedrooms with three bathrooms and WC (two with walk-in showers and one with a bathtub) enjoy views of the gardens, vineyards, and pine woods.
Outside in the garden, you can make the most of the beautiful private swimming pool 8 x 4-m pool, dining area, and patio furniture under the large pergola.
A shelter for two cars is at your disposal.
Aside from the heated 14 x 6-m pool, in the chateau's wonderful 1.5-sq.m park under the shade of ancient trees you can enjoy a spa with changing rooms, showers, a large Jacuzzi, and two saunas.
We can provide household linen and high-quality welcome products.
On request, we can give wine tastings in the tradition vineyard fashion.

Qualified from a Swiss hotel hospitality school, I have been in the hotel and luxury rental industry (Sheraton Star Resorts) for 15 years.

Why they chose this property

You will find the large 90-hectare winemaking estate with its 19th century chateau, park, outbuildings, and Roman ruins has been preserved, maintained, and enhanced for 5 generations.

What makes this property unique

It is an oasis of peace and quiet at the heart of the vineyards and pine trees. We look forward to sharing the delights of living here.
The Bâtiments de France craftsmen carried out the renovation keeping to local style. Particular attention has been paid to comfort with our luxury bedding, perfectly equipped bathrooms, independent air conditioning in the living areas, etc.
