Large beach home in family-friendly Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Situated in a great location, with ocean views, only steps from a beach access leading to a wide, uncrowded strand. Perfect for large families, multiple families or couples on a getaway. Open and bright gathering and dining areas. Guests love the well-equipped kitchen with plenty of space for multiple cooks.

5 Bedrooms: 1 King, 1 King , 1 Queen 1 Double , 1 Queen 1 Double, and 1 Queen 1 Double.

Well-maintained home with annual updates and refreshes. New flooring in the main living areas for 2026. Bedrooms are carpeted. We only rent during the summer months and the house gets an all-over deep cleaning, including carpets and furniture at the start of each rental season. The weekly cleaning between rentals includes disinfecting of high-touch areas. Bed comforters/quilts are washed and/or refreshed regularly.

Wireless, High-speed Internet access, 6 TVs, DVD players, movies and board games for kids and adults.

Ocean Isle's family-friendly beach offers something for everyone. Sit back and enjoy the sun and surf, watch for turtles, fish, play miniature golf, dine out or go shopping. The wide and flat beach is perfect for kids to run in the waves, build sand castles or have Italian ice from the cart on the beach. The Ocean Isle Community Center, Museum of Coastal Carolina and Planetarium offer interesting activities for both young and old. The island has a large park with a playground, splash pad, band stage and more. Just 5 minutes away is a bigger community park with lighted tennis courts, pickleball courts and another playground. Across the bridge are many shops, Go Carts, a variety of dining options, and a winery. If you are looking for more adventure, it is a short drive to Myrtle Beach, SC with its amusement parks, outlet malls, theaters, etc., or historic Wilmington, where you will find the Battleship North Carolina, along with nearby Fort Fisher and other points of interest.

The area has Golf Options Galore! There are some of the best golf courses in the US -over 20 courses within 8 miles of our house and over 100 golf courses within 1 hour of Ocean Isle Beach.

Choices for restaurant dining on the island include Jinks Creek, Pelican's Perch, Sharkey's, Le Volte and OIB Fish Company. Coastal Wine and Tap is a fabulous wine and beer bar within walking distance from the house. Many wonderful choices for dining just a short drive away, include Causeway Gourmet, Sugar Shack, Amelia's, Maya, Oyster Rock, Fibber McGee's, D'Amici and Sunset Prime.

Great for a family vacation!

We had an excellent experience at Drifting Seas for our annual family beach vacation. The 5 bedroom house was perfect for the 3 generations of family in our group. The house was very convenient to the beach access and the kitchen was well stocked. The owner was very responsive and accommodating throughout the booking process and during our stay. I highly recommend the property!

Wonderful beach house

We had a wonderful family vacation at Jean's beach house....it was so roomy for all of our family and the kitchen was so well stocked with all the necessary items that we needed.....the beach was not crowded and we had room to spread out and enjoy the ocean....the pool was so refreshing and the kids really enjoyed it...

Great Place For Families

Excellent family beach house

The house is in a perfect location, with very easy access to the beach. The house was clean and as described, no surprises. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was great, and having two beds in each room (except the main bedroom) was very convenient for everyone. I would definitely stay here again for our next OIB vacation!

We loved our stay @ OIB! We had a group of 15 and the 5 BR/5 Baths was a huge plus. We were right across the street from the public beach access. We also liked the keyless door lock. We were able to set up our own code that everyone could remember and didn't have to worry about lost keys!

Pefect location and house

Our vacation was multigeneration family and everything was perfect for us. The house location is great, close beach access so the teens could head back easily, pool at the house for anyone, close enough to town to walk for ice cream. The house was well equipped and very clean. There was only one issue while the linen delivery and the host was fast to respond and it was cleared up in no time. I loved the easy communication with the host before during and after. We loved our week there and will definitely stay there again!

Great for Teens

Our college and high school grandsons shared positive comments without being asked, especially liked the short distance to beach and arcade! We enjoyed the spacious kitchen with ton of cooking utensils and huge living room sofa! Communication prior to arrival was extremely helpful, check in and check out was easy.
