About this property

Eldora Mountain Om, Gateway into the Indian Peaks Wilderness

We invite you to enjoy our modest, 100 year old cabin nestled in the heart of the historic mining community of Eldora. We're located in the Rocky Mountains at 8,600 ft., are minutes from the Eldora Mountain Ski Resort & the gateway community into the Indian Peaks Wilderness backcountry. The cabin is 3.5 mi southwest of the quaint town of Nederland & 30 minutes west of the trendy college town of Boulder.

Our cabin is small, cozy and ideal for couples, or a small family. We have a small yard, kitchen views of Spencer Mountain, and excellent winter access. There's a master bedroom and another small bedroom, both with queen beds. The cabin has an open floor plan & a unique, rustic designer flare with one of a kind metal & handmade ironwork accents. We have modern appliances, a wood burning stove, DirectTV satellite, a 40" smart TV and hi speed internet.

Charming mountain stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Cabin/house was darling -- nice, thoughtful design, comfortable beds. The town is tiny, which is what we were looking for. Good food and shops in Nederland, and countless hiking opportunities nearby. Even with the highway under construction the drive to/from Boulder was pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.

A lovely spot in the mountains!

Great little cabin, old world charm but nicely updated for today’s visitors. Really well insulted, excellent wifi etc, loads of plug points. Beautiful views, quiet area; stores are only 3 miles away. Host was super communicative and helpful. Highly recommend!

Wonderful getaway close to Ned!

We loved it here - it is much more spacious than it looks, and has a chill/warm (fireplace) vibe to it. We were close to Nederland, where we worked and played. The stars at night were so bright, and the rushing water was soothing as we went to bed. Would definitely stay here again. Roxanne is a professional, and was available as needed, but never intrusive. We hope to come back soon!

Absolutely loved this place. Was even better in person than what I imagined from the listing online. Charming, Western, wonderful design touches, comfortable, well stocked and I could go on.and on. Great family downtime

We stayed over the winter holiday and had a great time as a family. The cabin has been updated with great details. Easy drive to Eldora for skiing and Nederland for food and fun. Would absolutely come back, maybe to hike and explore in the summer. Roxanne is extremely responsive. We were extremely comfortable and enjoyed getting snowed in!

The cabin was so pleasant I could clearly sense it was a labor of love that brought it forth. Great time and location

Before you enter the house, you will wonder about your choice as the street view is unassuming and some wood rot around the front door. However, once you enter, it is a very interesting and well-done upgrade and joining of two historical buildings. A little dark as accurately noted in the interior picture. Location in Eldora and closeness to Hessie and Fourth of July Trailheads are great. Many additional trailheads are not far. Eldora ski slope is a few minutes away. Nederland is very close and has a grocery and hardware store and places to eat. There are three steps between the main room and bedrooms. There is not a microwave (which may affect your preparation of food that you bring), dishwasher, and garbage disposal. There is a place out back to sit outside and look across at a forested mountainside. The hosts are very responsive and friendly and even came over on short notice to help with the DirectTV. They also very nicely take care of trash and recycling.

Very cute cabin in great Eldora location

We had a perfect fall weekend at this cabin. Its charming, rustic but updated interior had everything we needed. Four adults had enough space to relax. Loved the family of rabbits and a ferret(?) in the backyard. View from the kitchen window was of glorious golden aspen. We will return in the future.
