We loved our stay! It was conveniently located near town. The house was stocked with everything we needed. It also had plenty of things in the kitchen if you decided to cook there. It was very clean and spacious. We will definitely book again on our next visit to Clayton.

This house was clean, cold a/c, comfortable bed, close to town and restaurants. The owner was very nice. She even notified us before we got there that there was a power outage. She notified us again when it was back on. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

It was perfect for our little get-away. Cozy and quiet. Well-stocked home. The owners were very responsive when we had trouble with the dvd player and they even brought over brand new cushions for the porch furniture.We hope to get back to the area again and do more waterfall searches. The town of Clayton was very friendly and fun to shop in. We also enjoyed going through the Foxfire museum.

The Little Red House is in the best location! It’s an easy drive to Clayton, and Tiger Mountain Vineyards…two of our favorite places! Love that it is dog friendly! There’s a front porch for sitting and watching the wind blow, or the golfers on the golf course below! The house was clean and welcoming, host easy to communicate with via text. Overall a great weekend retreat!

Property exactly as described. Very clean and host responded to questions promptly. Great place for pets with gates provided. Driveway is a little steep but you are in the mountains so that should be expected. Great view of golf course! We will definitely stay here again.

The house has a homie, cabin feel and we loved it. Everything you need for a getaway is there for your use. It was very clean. Though we like to cook most of our own meals (there is an excellent grocery store in town), we did have a couple of meals out and the local restaurants did not disappoint. Sadly, one of our pups scratched a doorframe in the laundry room, which we will gladly pay for. Also, there is a fire pit and chairs outside which I didn’t see in the pics. Good for relaxing in the evening. Overall, a great experience, minus the puppy drama.

So cute and lovely!

We were extremely happy with the little red house, it provided everything we needed for our stay, beautiful area, lots to do. We hiked during the day and spent the evening hours on the lovely front porch. We loved it and we plan to come back!
