This is a beautiful property with plenty to do if you are staying in and also has quick access to hike in the redwoods, go to the river, or go into downtown Guerneville. David was also very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend it.

Amazing house just 1 mile north of Downtown Guerneville! My friends and I stayed here for Lazy Bear weekend, and we will definitely stay here again for the future ones!We loved how clean and spacious the entire property was. The heated pool and hot tub was very lovely, and it was nice to grab some fruits from the many fruit trees they have in the back yard!Highly recommend this place if you have a big group of friends, family, or chosen family!

This was a FANTASTIC home for a fun weekend with a group of 9. The house itself is gorgeous, with lots of light and art - everything is very clearly labeled so you're never searching too hard for towels or pots and pans. The real winner is the backyard though - so gorgeous, and so much fun to spend time by the pool and hot tub. It's also a 5 minute drive from town, grocery store, and the Russian River beach access, so the location is prime. I'm so happy I was able to find this spot for our group, can't recommend enough!

This home is peaceful and beautiful! We were able to enjoy our visit with out of town family while preparing for a wedding. Thank you so much for the bottle of wine, we only wish we had another day to relax! I would definitely rent this home again!

Property was just as pictured, if not, more beautiful than the listing. Just a few maintenance claims/request, i.e. dishwasher, water system for pool, and the gate needed attention but overall we had a pleasant stay and the property had everything we needed to prep meals. The two fridges also came in handy.

Great place and the host was very responsive. The only downside was that there were quite a few house rules, and we noticed several mouse traps in the game room, one of which almost caught our corgi. It would be helpful for future guests if those were removed or clearly mentioned ahead of time, especially for pet-friendly stays.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay. We're sorry any mouse traps were visible and were a potential issue for your dog. Valley Lane is a rural property and as such we occasionally have pest problems. The traps have been removed and I've directed our pest service to make sure any future trap placements are out of reach of any visiting dogs.

Gorgeous stay!

We had a great getaway with friends. The property is gorgeous and well cared for. Only thing to note is strict quiet hours and no outdoor amplified music allowed.

Well equipped kitchen for Thanksgiving! Loved having two fridges and two dishwashers!! The weather was too cold to take advantage of the pool but the grounds were lovely and so was the hot tub!!

Picturesque stay for big families

My family of 8 stayed at this property and we really enjoyed our stay. What made it the most special to me was that you could tell this was a special place for the home owner; the front garden was truly a haven for travelers from the city. Beds were comfy and the amenities were great, definitely planning on staying there again

Perfect rustic retreat

Beautiful house and property in a quiet neighborhood. The house had everything that was advertised and was a great place for a 30 year college reunion. Would definitely stay here again.
