MAIN FLOOR: master with king bed, deck access, ensuite with Jacuzzi tub and shower, USB chargers & outlets on bedside tables; living room with floor to ceiling windows showcasing sweeping long-range mountain views, 55" flat screen TV, Blu Ray/DVD Player, fireplace, kitchen and dining area, and 1/2 bath. Deck with grill, dining table, fire pit, rockers and adirondack chairs stretches across back of home to soak in those amazing mountain views. LOWER LEVEL: bedroom with queen bed, ensuite, and USB chargers & outlets on bedside tables; living room, 50" flat screen TV, Blu Ray/DVD Player, and sleeper sofa. Enjoy the same mountain views through two sliding glass doors in the living room and one sliding glass door in the bedroom. Both the living room and bedroom have access to patio area with seating to enjoy mountain views. ALL PAVED ROADS TO OUR HOME.
Located approximately 15 minutes off of I-40, we are 33 miles from Asheville, 20 miles from Lake Lure, and 18 miles from Black Mountain. Conveniently located to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Chimney Rock, Lake James, Linville Caverns, The Biltmore House, and Montreat.

Mountain Escape

This property defines relaxation. I work all the time and it is always hard to find down time. On this vacation, I sought to do just that - relax. Bring a good book. Get by the fireplace. Turn on some nice tunes and enjoy the view - especially at night. And the stars...oh my! It is a great place to hit the reset button. My family and I will be returning.

Spring Break Getaway

Wonderful home and property, house had everything we needed and more! Perfect for our family of five. Fantastic view and atmosphere. Home is in a very nice gated community. Traveled with a Chrysler Town & Country van and had no issues getting to the location. Only 15-20 min to the closest store, local brewery (Hillman's...be sure to visit!), and the highway. Communication with the owners was top notch. Would love to stay here again.

Beautiful Views

Waking up to the mountain views was phenomenal. Owners were super accommodating and flexible when we had to reschedule due to an emergency. We will be back. Loved the neighborhood, the house, and the very gracious owners. Thank you.

The House , the view, the owners just awesome . We cooked a lot and the kitchen was well stocked . We are looking forward to going again. I can say without a doubt , anybody that goes there from couples , families , to a friend group they would have a wonderful time .

We love spending time on the deck - bird watching and looking for other wildlife while taking in the beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains around Lake Lure! We rarely spend time indoors as the beauty of the area is too tempting to miss! We enjoy hiking, birding, wildlife & landscape photography and just spending time in nature.

We chose this home because it has everything we wanted for our dream vacation home--a tranquil setting with amazing views where we could enjoy nature, unwind and relax. We found all of this and more in our Gateway Mountain home. We trust that you will enjoy our little piece of paradise as much as we do!

Beautiful mountain views greet you as soon as you walk in the door as the large wall of windows allows you to enjoy the outside while you are still inside. Enjoy beautiful views of Lake Lure and surrounding mountains. Drive on all paved roads to our home in the gated community of Gateway Mountain.
