Unique, very comfortable place for our short stay near the Kenai River for a Family of two couples, an infant, and a dog.Communication was clear and made finding the lodging and checking in easy and smooth.Yard was fenced allowing our dog to run free (with supervision). Comfortable outside seating area with a swing that our infant enjoyed with us.Fresh greens in the garden were a pleasant surprise and we added them to our meals. We had fun playing I-Spy with all the decor in all of the rooms! There is a steep, narrow stair/ladder to get upstairs to the loft where the beds are, but we were all able to navigate them without issue.
Impressed with the cottage, having my own parking area, and gated off the main property, we felt we had our own space. Quiet, and with an outdoor fireplace. We cooked some salmon we caught for a late night before bed.
Gary and Teresa were waiting at the gate with smiles and a great Alaska welcome. The cabin was filled with nick knacks that gave it a real homie feeling. I had access to the garden which gave me fresh lettuce everyday. Oh by the way I hope your guys tomatoes got ripe. I would come back again, and would recommend it to family and friends.
Communication was just right. Location was excellent. We were only eleven minutes from our early morning fishing destination. Near enough to Soldotna, yet far enough away to feel like we were in the wilderness. Everything we needed was there: pans, cups, water bottles. Excellent hosts. Would stay again.

The cabin was clean and cute. Although the tv did not work. The beds were comfortable but we woke up nauseous, with headaches would recommend a CO2 detector.
Property owner was extremely accommodating. We were delayed due to road closures, and she was very flexible in adjusting our stay. She took the time to update us on the road closures. The accommodations were very comfortable, with several personal touches., there were also multiple convenient amenities. Stairs leading to the loft were steep, so may not be for the faint of heart. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Thank you for the wonderful review! We were very happy to be able to help with your visit. We try to help our guests any way we can. I wouldn't want to be stranded thousands of miles away from home with no one to help me figure out what to do. You're welcome back anytime and hope you will visit us again.
Superb location. 10-20 minutes from fishing and shopping. Saw moose every day. Quiet and relaxing cabin. Well furnished. Lovely Alaskan decor. Very friendly hosts. Very enjoyable experience.
