Family owned and loved - 5BR / 4BA - Sleeps 12 -Q, K, Q, 2 Singles, 3 Single + Twin Sleeper & Arcade

"Life's Too Short" is located between Jungle and Jungle Shores, with the entrance from Jungle Shores. With plenty of parking under the house for 3 cars/boat and a gravel parking area at the house for overflow. Under the home you will find a hammock for relaxing and a grill for your outdoor cooking. With a side nice yard for a competitive game of cornhole or darts. You will also find a hot/cold outdoor shower conveniently located near the front steps for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

You enter the house from the Jungle Rd side and are greeted with a beautiful great room, which opens on to the 1st floor screen porch. The 1st BR w/ Queen has a private door to the covered deck. There is also a full hall bath (tub/shower). The main level has the great room (living, dining and kitchen) and opens to a screen porch facing Jungle Shores. The centrally located stairs take you to the 2nd level. The master with king has access to the screen porch. The master bath has a stall shower, tub, a double sink vanity. There is a hall bath (tub/shower) for the 3rd BR - queen and the 4th BR- 2 Singles. On the third level is a large room with 3 Singles and twin sleeper, private bath with stall shower, and newly added arcade machine with over 50 games. Perfect for the children to enjoy playing games or watching movies.

This home rents for weeks only (Saturday-Saturday) during June-July-August. Will rent for shorter stays during the off season (3 night min.) Full month rentals during the off-season are available at a discounted rate. With average temperatures in the 60s, Edisto Beach is the perfect off-season getaway!

We had a wonderful stay. The property was spacious and near the beach. We rented a golf cart for the week to get to and from the beach. It would be helpful to have a clothesline or somewhere to hang towels and bathing suits after a day at the beach.

Great family vacation spot!

We had a great time at Life’s Too Short. We loved being near the backwater area and being able to walk nearby to see the gorgeous sunsets. The beach was just a straight shot down the road. Kids loved the large upstairs bedroom with games. The two bikes were a great addition as well; so fun to ride bikes to look for all the deer that are on Edisto. Overall, we had a great stay and the owners were very responsive.

GREAT FAMILY TIME

House was the perfect spot for our family to gather. Kids loved the top floor and the games. Kitchen was very well stocked with any appliance, pot/pan, utensil you would need. Family get away

Our family went for the Annual Shag Festival. The home was beautiful and convenient to the beach. Just a couple blocks away! There were three floors and everyone had plenty of space. There were arcade games on the third floor that my brother enjoyed. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this home for a great place to go with family.

Life’s Too Short was perfect for our family gathering for my daughter’s surprise engagement. Very cozy with plenty of kitchen utensils, plates and cups, two coffee makers which we put to good use and other cooking needs. Make sure to pack or pick up paper products and TP and of course bring your own sheets. (Or rent them). The walk to the beach is a nice walk and the screened porches are wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and Comfortable House

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Life's Too Short. The house is beautiful, incredibly clean, well-decorated, spacious, and very comfortable. The kitchen is huge with everything you need and the reverse osmosis water filter is awesome for drinking water. The beds are comfy, as are the dining and living room furniture. Our kids particularly enjoyed the arcade upstairs as well as the ring and string game in the carport. The screened in porches were also favorites. It took us about 30 seconds to drive to the beach (though you could walk if you'd like) and we appreciated the outdoor shower with warm water as well as the lower spigot for quick feet rinses. Our family had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this lovely house.

Our first stay at Edisto

We have never been able to stay for this long at the beach for many years with all of the crazy schedules and college then weddings.. this year we actually got to all be together for two days of the 6 we stayed! This house felt so comfy, and everyone relaxed and had their own space, but yet we could all hang out together for meals and to play games at the large kitchen table! Highly recommend this houseto anyone, and Jeff was on top of things with always responding quickly to any questions that we had !

Toilets slow, main level shower tub slow, mastyer TV broken, no live TV as all was on ROKU or netflix or strange stuff to us. Owners golf cart was in the way so we could not use front of the lower ground level and we had difficultu plugging in our expensive rental golf carts, only one plug for thr three carts. TV was difficult to operate because remotes were no working needed batteries or the tv did not recognize the remote. TV and Sound was misrepresented as a value.

Great family vacation home

We had a great time at this house with our family that included young kids and adults. The house had plenty of space and our daughter (5 yrs old) loved the game room at the top. Jungle shores is a great location tucked between the marsh and just a few blocks to the beach. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the porches off the bedrooms. Great place to stay in Edisto!

Perfect vacation

We had such a fantastic stay at this property. It was the perfect location for a short walk to the beach or the marsh. It fit our large crowd easily and had all of the supplies to cook up large meals for the whole group. Having three levels was great to sneak away for some quiet time and for everyone to have their own space as needed. Would definitely recommend!

Big, nice and comfortable

We were with a group of nine adults, and fit into the house quite comfortably. We did need one more chair at the dining room table, and there were not all the pots and pans we’d like for cooking for a large group (we enjoy “family style” cooking and eating with our friends). Still these were minor when compared to the whole experience, which was great.

Why they chose this property

Edisto is the perfect place to unwind, and enjoy the beauty that surrounds this unbelievably special place. The slow pace and stunning sunsets keep families coming back year after year. It’s the best kept secret and one of the only uncommercialled beaches left on the east coast. I still get chills driving in under the canapy of arching live oaks and moss, old churches and the smell of the marsh. There is nothing like the low country.
