Thank you for the review which I believe is a perfect description of a lovely holiday home. I’m very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at The Stables.
It was amazing to stay at Rachael home in a pretty countryside. The property is just 30 mins away from the Lakes and it was very quiet and peaceful holiday with family. The house was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the house and enjoyed our trip.
Family-Friendly Accommodation
We spent a wonderful few weeks in this spacious and lovely holiday flat. It’s a perfect base for exploring the Lake District and the surrounding area.
The village itself has two great pubs, and in Carnforth, we were able to find everything we needed for our daily essentials.
Great location in Warton. Central for us as we were visiting family.
Very comfortable home. Very clean. The owner was very hospitable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would love to stay again i 2027 on our return visit
Enjoyed our stay. Lovely property, very spacious, clean, warm and well equipped. Enclosed rear yard is a safe space for pets or children. The road in front is a dead end so there are very few passing vehicles. Lots of places to visit within an hour's drive. Would definitely stay again.
The house is large and well equipped. It is clean and comfortable in a lovely location. We had a great few days exploring the Carnforth 'Brief Encounter' station and our drive to the Lakes for the Wordsworths' cottage was spectacular.

Nice place. Good location
Nice clean property.
Good location.
Enjoyed our stay.
Parking a significant issue.
Had to park in school which luckily hadn’t resumed classes yet.
This house was magical for my family trip to England! Myself, husband, my parents and 88 year old grandmother stayed here. The house had everything we could need for our stay. (down to a hairdryer with diffuser for curly hair like mine!) More than ample space for us all together. The town is nice, and we explored the area on foot, great food and amazing views all within a few minutes walk. I was so happy with this house, and look forward to staying there again.

Thank you for your lovely review. The Stables is perfect for a family break with plenty of space to be together and to relax. I agree about the views. Gorgeous.
Really enjoyed our week at the Stables. House had pretty much everything we needed, lovely village (I'd recommend Old School Brewery for a couple of pints). Great walks on the doorstep, and a short drive to the coast or the south Lakes. I'd recommend for families or a group of friends, the property is much larger than I thought it was from the photos!

Thank you for your review. I’m so pleased you enjoyed The Stables, Warton and the wider wonderful area. We’d love to welcome you back in the future.
Large holiday home with all the facilities needed for self catering. Always warm to come back to which we needed for our stay in January. The owner was very helpful. Excellent location and very handy for well signed walks and RSPB Leighton Moss. Would definitely recommend The George Washington for a meal but need to book.

Lovely spacious property with everything you need
We hired this cottage for our relatives for a wedding; we did not actually stay there ourselves, although Anne, who lives across the road, was kind enough to show us round. Communication throughout was excellent and our family really enjoyed their stay.
