Great central location. Easy walk to beach and restaurants. Super quick response with messaging inquiries and questions. Property is very tired. Could do with a refurbishment and new furniture. Good value for money.

The place was durty mold on the bathroom ceiling toaster was broke towel holder was broke ceiling fan is broke
It was our 1st trip to Hawaii for the 4 of us. It didn’t disappoint. Close to downtown and the Waikiki beach. Lots of activities to do. We went to Diamond Head, Polynesian Cultural Centre and the Dole Plantation. Lots of hiking trail. Loved all the beaches. Snorkelling was awesome. The apartment we stayed in was a good size for all. Would recommend this location to all. The down fall is the bathroom needs an update otherwise all was good
This was a very central location to all the places we wanted to go to. Having a dedicated parking spot (additional cost) on site was a pro for a family that rented a car for the week! The property is older, but the neighbours and quiet and respectful. The washer on the floor was not working, but additional washers and dryers and located on the lower level and across the street at the 24 hr laundromat. Highly recommend this property for a young family!

Adequate and good value for the money.
The property is an older one and a little shabby but spotlessly clean. The neighborhood is just on the edge of questionable neighborhoods however we had no trouble. Security on the property is very tight. The fact that the unit comes with parking is a godsend. There is NO parking nearby.

I had reserved this house because there were 8 of us and I wanted everyone to have a bed The silverware holder had crumbs, some of the dishes had been put away with food stuck on them, there was no toilet paper or, paper towels. There was no fire pit, the heat went off during the night, it was 60 degrees in the morning.

It’s unfortunate when a guest feels the need to write a dishonest review. We have more than enough beds for 8 people. All of our dishes are required to be cleaned by our guests before they leave, and they are additionally run through the dishwasher between stays. We do not provide paper towels, and do not advertise to do so. We do, however, provide one full roll of toilet paper in all three bathrooms per stay. If three toilet paper rolls were not enough, we do have a Dollar General less than 2 miles away. You chose to use the “emergency heat” option instead of turning on the “normal heat” which is why you were experiencing problems with the heat. I’m very sorry that you did not enjoy your $136/night stay for 8 in a 5 bedroom home due to these factors!

Ok
Very noisy at night, the window was broke and the black fan didn’t work so it was hot!
We stayed at this property for 9 days. All in all, it was a great spot to rest and have a few meals at home! My mother in law likes to hang her clothes so a few more hangers in the condo would help but other than that, everything was great! We had one issue with parking but the property owners were very responsive and it was handled immediately. The location was perfect - walking distance to the beach, to great shopping and even to groceries if you didn't have a car (though it would be about a 15-20 min walk from the Walmart if you were getting groceries there which is where we went). All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend this condo!
Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

If you enjoy breathing mold and sleeping in unwashed sheets, book here. Otherwise, spend a little more and stay in a proper hotel. Pictures of bathroom and bedroom are edited and blurred in the places where the ceiling sags and is covered in mold, not to mention the mold dripping down from the rusted vents. We didnt end up staying here and had to request a full refund through Vrbo. In the sketch part of town. Really sucked having to find a place to stay the day of arrival because of dishonest positive reviews and inaccurate room descriptions.

Shabby and rundown
1. Shabby furniture.
2. Upkeep lacking.
3. Roof in bathroom leaking. A/C condensate.
4. Elevators worked only intermitantly.
5. Closets not usable; full of owners belongings.
6. Manager lives in San Diego. Never saw her.
7.Too small for six people.
8. VRBO should drop this facility.

5 days in Waikiki
The pictures of the property were overexposed which made the unit look much newer than reality. The cleanliness was a concern as the doors were black with handprints. Not great with covid still an issue. We cleaned the doors and the rest was ok. The contact person was very prompt in responding otherwise. The coffee maker died and she replaced it right away. The place was fine if you plan on being out and about all day and just need a place to put your head down. With a bit of TLC it would be a great place to stay. Parking not available so that was a pain. For anyone renting the unit the cheapest and closest place to park is at the Harbor. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s priority is location and not esthetics.
Please avoid this property. It should not be a VRBO listing. It’s barely fit to be a crack den. There was pubic hair on the wall of the shower. The AC was broken and the host tried to blame it on changing settings when it was a hole in the duct leading to the window. There was different colored hair everywhere, on floors, in drawers, inside coffee mugs. There was black mold covering the bathroom. Multiple complaints resulted in someone coming to literally paint white paint over the mold. The beds are just mattresses thrown on frames with the headboards leaning against the wall. My eight year old spend an afternoon cleaning the place it was so obviously unacceptable living conditions even for a child and this was after the “touch up” that was supposedly done after multiple complaints to VRBO since host did not respond until I called many times. The place is infested by spiders and pest control had to come to spray further toxins during the stay. The washing machine broke leaving our clothes sodden and unable to be dried with a single paid dryer cycle and with faulty AC nothing could air dry in room. This place is a disaster.
We recently stayed at this condo for a week - myself, my husband, two kids and my sister. The condo was a good jumping off spot for all our sightseeing while in Hawaii. Communication with the host and the check-in process was clear and easy to follow.
The apartment is a little dated, like the rest of the building, but not bad. Given the price per night, I think it’s pretty comparable. The photos do make the space appear larger than it actually was, but we spent a lot of time away from the condo for it to really matter.
There were a few hiccups for the stay (water dripping in the tub after showering, coffee pot not working and not enough plates/cups to dine in the unit) but all in all it was a decent stay. Lots of road/city noise but that’s to be expected in an area like Waikiki.
Overall, I’d give the rental 3.5-4 stars out of 5.
Our stay was excellent, Hazel our host was outstanding. We had a bathtub faucet that had a bad drip. She had a repairman fix it immediately. The condo was plenty room for the 5 of us. The balcony view was wonderful. The building is secure and centrally located to everything in Waikiki. We will stay here again if available on our next visit.
Do not trust this listing. The condo is nothing like the pictures. Dirty blankets, sticky floors, dirty peeling walls. There was mold in the bathrooms and big traps everywhere.
We were a little disappointed in the building itself, very old and the suite was dated. It was clean. And we didn’t spend a lot of time there but gave us a place to sleep. Would have liked a second set of beach towels as they don’t dry fast enough between days. There also was no laundry card in the suite so we could not use the machines. We enjoyed the walk downtown and how close it was to main highways.
We had a large family of 7 that was supposed to stay here. After seeing the size my parents decided to stay elsewhere. It's a very nice place and I'm sure with the area that it's a good size, it had all the amenities and the host was very sweet.
We loved our time here! There was plenty of space, a cozy balcony, and nice central location. Instructions for check-in were very clear and made things a breeze. The apartment was very comfortable and we enjoyed the view off the balcony. We didn't reserve with enough time to get a parking spot in the garage so had to park around the block. Not too bad all things considered just required a little extra time to head over. Very happy with our stay and host and would recommend. Perfect for our two children and two teen-age grandchildren who came with us.
