About this property

Historic Main Street Bozeman, Dog-Friendly 30-Day Flat With AC and Bridger Bowl 20 Minutes Away

Welcome to Fisherman's Flat!

A charming one-bedroom retreat tucked right on Main Street in the heart of downtown Bozeman. The space blends antique character with modern comfort in a way that feels lived-in and genuine. The kitchen, large living room, and separate dining area give you plenty of room to spread out, and the queen sleeper sofa in the living room adds a second sleeping option when you need it. The bedroom has a queen bed and there is one full bathroom.

Step outside and you are already there: coffee shops, restaurants, galleries, and some of Bozeman's best antique stores are all within walking distance. If you have not explored the local antique shops yet, they are worth the time. Bozeman's trail system is also easily accessible on foot, and the Gallatin River is just a short drive away for world-class fishing.

A quick note on location: being on Main Street means you get the full energy of downtown Bozeman right outside your door. It is a wonderful spot if you love being in the middle of things, though it can come with some street noise, especially on weekends.

From the Flat, you are 20 minutes from Bridger Bowl, an hour from Big Sky Resort, five minutes from Montana State University, ten minutes from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, and about 90 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

Bozeman's hospitality is waiting for you.

Not Worth the Money

I had a 30-night stay at this property. On my first night I had to stay in a hotel because I was given the wrong codes to get into the unit and the hosts didn't answer their emergency line. The hosts offered me a 1 night refund which was less $ than the hotel stay. I agreed but felt they should've covered the hotel cost instead. When I got into the unit, it didn't reflect the pictures in their listing. The bedroom was decorated and had furniture in the listing photos, but in reality it was just a bed with bare marked-up walls and a dresser, and the bed quilt was tattered & ripped & the duvet had a blood stain on it. The living room furniture was beat up & worn out, but the listing showed clean, newer furniture and a different layout. The place was also filthy – ceiling fans and blinds were caked in dust & dirt, the pots & pans were caked in dust and grease, the couch was covered in a visible layer of fur & dust, there was trash in the trashcan & there were glass shards on the floor. I had to spend hours documenting everything. The hosts sent cleaners so I had to leave the unit for 2 hours. Upon return nothing was cleaned except the floors & blinds. I had to document everything again and call the hosts. We agreed on another time for cleaners to come. I asked if they needed a list of what needed to be cleaned and they said no. I left my unit at our agreed upon time and returned 3 hours later to find the cleaners just arriving. They had no idea what needed to be cleaned. I had to leave the unit again for 2 more hours and my plans were ruined. No one called me to tell me that the cleaners were coming at a different time - I messaged the hosts who said that they'd call me Mon. – no one called me so I had to call them on Tue. At this point, I had lost several working hours (I was working remotely) & several hours of leisure time to dealing with this issue – documenting everything w/photos & writing down everything I had to deal with, calling the hosts and VRBO. I shouldn't have had to deal with anything for the amount that I paid for this place. All in all, the unit was filthy and not usable to its full extent for 7 days and I lost time and money dealing with this issue. I asked for a 7 night refund + cleaning fee and they offered me just about the equivalent of 1 night refund + cleaning fee, telling me that it wasn't that big of a deal and that the place got cleaned eventually. I feel completely ripped off & swindled by the hosts.

Hi Jordan, I sincerely apologize for the less-than-ideal experience you've had. Such feedback is not typical for us, and it's regrettable that your stay did not meet our usual standards. As a small locally owned business, we take pride in our well maintained and spotlessly clean homes and its obvious we failed to meet your expectations. We sent the cleaners to the home multiple times to address your concerns and provided the photos for reference. We did try to come to a resolution in which you declined. We genuinely appreciate your understanding, and we would be delighted to welcome you back the next time you travel to Bozeman- Charli L- Director of Guest Services
