Light and airy modern holiday cottage with access to private beach

Beautiful, open holiday cottage that offers a secluded and affordable base for a wonderful Martha's Vineyard holiday. Designed by a leading island archiitect, this pagoda-like building features a large central open-plan room with kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The high ceiling, clean lines and large sliding glass doors give a great feeling of light and openness to the surrounding fields and trees. There is a patio area on both sides to allow sun-bathing at any time of day. There is a double bedroom with good storage and two further interconnecting children's rooms, each with two bunk beds. There is a mini-split unit in the main room that offers both air-conditioning and heating as well as wifi internet access. There is also an outdoor shower for when you come back from the beach.

The house comes with a key to beautiful, sought-after private Hancock's Beach, accessible via a short car drive. The property is located off South Road with easy access to Chilmark Corner and West Tisbury.

Lovely guest house, exactly as stated in the listing. This is a very private location: We were there in September and did not see another soul. We could often hear the surf from the house. The kitchen has everything you could want, and there were also beach chairs and towels. Access to Hancock Beach was a special treat -- we had the beach to ourselves every time we went. We would absolutely stay there again.

Amazing Location

Beautiful, secluded architectural getaway with access to private beach. Only disappointment honestly was the bed and furniture, which could use updating. Overall a wonderful experience.
