Really lovely property—from the living room, there are gorgeous nature views from ample windows on both sides of the house! Loved lounging on the deck in the bay breezes and watching the ponies, which visited the pasture twice during our weeklong stay. Appreciated the thoughtfulness of items provided and quiet location. The drive to the beach was around 15-20 mins. Would stay again!
Our host, Jane was so wonderful to communicate with. I had originally rented the Pony House next door, but when my friends said they could join us I saw that Jane’s beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom was available. So glad it was. The rooms are decorated very nicely. Comfortable and cozy.Due to the hurricane, the ponies didn’t show up in the yards, but the scenery from all windows is wonderful. Even in the cloudy, rainy weather, the rooms were still bright. Entering the home, because it’s upstairs, (it looks like there is a residence below, but it was empty during our time), may be difficult managing the entry stairs. Also the guys were watching baseball and would have liked a bigger screened-tv preferably above the fireplace. Otherwise, it’s 4Stars!
The house is exactly as the pictures depict. The view was beautiful, the location was quiet and serene, and the house was lovely. No weird smells, no unexpected anything.
Amazing home. This is not your standard rental. It feels like staying at your friend’s beach house. It is very well-stocked with everything you could possibly want. The towels are plush. Comfy beds and sheets. Cute decorations all over the house, beautiful furniture, and it looks like a magazine, but so homey. The only thing missing was the horses. They decided to hide when we were there. We’ll have to come back!
I felt lucky that I got to stay here. It was perfect for entertaining family and friends. There are so many beautiful views and the grazing herd of ponies was the cherry on top. Don’t hesitate to book this home!
Beautiful house, quiet neighborhood yet close to town. Only issue that kept this from a 5* rating is a significant amount of black mold in the primary shower.
