All direct bookings are non-refundable. However, we understand that travel plans may change. For cancellations made at least 30 days prior to arrival and outside of Peak Season (defined as June 15 – September 15),

Host may offer a credit toward a future stay, valid for up to 12 months from the original check-in date. Credit is subject to availability and must be used in a single reservation.

For reservations made through third-party booking platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo), the cancellation terms published on the respective Booking Site shall apply, unless otherwise specified in this Agreement.

Beautiful house with great location

Terrible

The host was terrible. The property is listed as beach front ocean view. It was nothing of that short. The host did not communicate in a timely manner. The grill was disgusting when we got there — unusable. He charged extra money even tho we did not damage any furniture. The front door does not work. Have to use side door that is not convenient. Rooms are terribly small. Our linens arrived late. Stay away.

Great location

Storm Bait was as advertised. Close to the beach, lovely pool and deck area. Bunting Street is great for walking or riding a bike. The house is perfect for a large family. Everyone has their space. We could even walk to a few of the great restaurants in Fenwick.

Great location. Love the pool. So nice to have 2 first floor bedrooms. One for us (grandparents) and one for our handicapped grandchild. Mats on the beach made for easy access with the beach wheelchair. Well stocked kitchen. Owner is very responsive. Saw lots of dolphins!

Fantastic time!!

Our family had a wonderful beach week at Storm Bait!!! The house was perfect for all of us with lots of space to spread out and also space to all be together!! Frank was super quick to respond to any questions that came up from start to finish!! The kiddos (and grown ups) loved the pool and the walk to the beach was super quick! Thanks for the beach smiles and memories! Looking forward to coming back next summer!

The property is amazing. We nice this house. Second time coming. Ice maker had mold in it, hopefully that will be cleaned. Otherwise the house is super comfortable and lovely. We want to come back next October again !!

Fantastic week at Fenwick

This house was perfect for our family of 5 adults and 5 kids. The house is just as it's listed... enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all, a spacious kitchen for cooking, and a large table for family meals. The wagon and chairs available to bring down to the beach made it convenient to transport items, and the short walk to the beach made it easy to go early in the morning, during the day, and for a peaceful walk at night. The pool was also a big hit for the kids (and adults) after a day at the beach. We absolutely loved our stay and plan to come back next time we vacation in Fenwick!

Stunning home!

My family and I had a wonderful time in this beautiful vacation home! We loved having a private pool and not having to share with a whole community. The peaceful beach was literally like 5 houses away (our 83 year old Mother had no problem getting to the beach every morning!). The inside of the house is stunning. The decorating and furnishings are top notch! I loved the little sunroom off of the king master! Loved the mud room and the huge, open great room area! Loved the king master suite! Truly have no complaints! We were a family from 5-83 years of age and everyone had a wonderful time! I couldn't recommend this house more!!!

Fenwick Trip 2023

Thank you Frank! This was our family's first trip to Fenwick Island. We will definitely be returning! Our trip was interrupted by the storm Ophelia! No sunshine with the exception of a few peeks of sun on two occasions. Regardless of the weather our stay at Storm Bait was wonderful! The whole family enjoyed the large kitchen and dining area for meals and game nights. We watched Halloween movies and ate lots of snacks! Each of our bedrooms had comfortable beds & pillows, with our own bathrooms! We did travel out to play indoor mini golf one day, Lombardi's for dinner & a short walk on OC Boardwalk.

Amazing House

My family and extended family (totaling 13 people including a 1-year-old) stayed at the house in mid-August 2021. We had a wonderful time. The house is amazing. The rooms are big, the bathrooms are great, and the pool is wonderful. The owner clearly put a lot of thought into designing the house. As of this writing, the Google Earth does not show the current house that is on the lot. The pool deck is big enough to have 10 – 12 people comfortably. There are chairs for six. The pool has four small steps to get in, but also a large enough area (probably 5’ x 6’) to allow a parent to play with a small child in about 8 inches of water. There is then more space to swim and play for both small kids and large kids. It is not big enough to swim any laps. The pool is surrounded on three sides by the house, so you are isolated from windy days. There is an extra-large ice maker so there is always enough ice, plus a wine/beer/soda refrigerator. The large kitchen is well stocked with glasses, dishes, silverware, pots (including a large crab pot), pans, and plastic storage containers. There is also a large kitchen island to prepare and serve food. The two bedrooms on the first floor are located far away from the kitchen and living room so there was never a problem with noise from those areas impacting sleep or quiet time. My wife and I stayed in the master bedroom. The room was an appropriate size with good storage. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was great. It had a very large shower (no bathtub), two sinks, and (a very nice touch) drying rack for our swimsuits. There are five bedrooms. Four of them are large enough to have a crib or a Pack and Play for an infant. Four of the five rooms have a private bath. The rooms are very pretty with plenty of storage. There are two-fold out couches (one on the upstairs landing and one in the main living room). The owner has provided several beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, and a wagon. Although it states there is parking for four cars, the parking area is large enough to park 8 cars if you double park. Communication with the owner was very easy. The location is perfect. A half a block from both the beach access and the main highway. We never heard the highway traffic. The beach was not crowded at all. We were shocked at how much room there was on the beach. The house is 1 block from a produce stand, 3 blocks from an ice cream store, and 5 blocks from a Dunkin Donuts.

We had a great family vacation! First time at Fenwick and it did not disappoint. Plenty of room for 8 adults and 2 children. The pool was a big hit with the kids and adults. Kitchen and living area were great for cooking and hanging around together, but plenty of other places to go if you wanted some quiet time.

This was our fourth year renting this beautiful home for our family summer vacation and I'm already booked for next summer. We all love it as our home away from home. Beautifully furnished and comfortable. In the kitchen you have everything you need to prepare meals. The 2 minute walk is convenient and the pool is great for everyone to take a swim when returning from a day at the beach. We look forward to our return every year.

Great Fenwick Property

Can't beat this property in Fenwick. Proximity to the beach is unbelievable. Enough room for the whole family and large living space so you aren't in top of each other. Pool after the beach every day was a perfect end to each day.

Great Birthday Celebration for Mom

We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate a 70th birthday for mom. We had a total of 12 people in the house and it was spacious and clean. The 5 Master Bedrooms is great and the kids loved the pool. It’s sobclose to the beach and shops & restaurants. This was our first trip to Fenwick Island (we go to the Outer Banks every year as a family) and this may be a new spot for us. Highly recommend Storm Bait.
