Charming Brant Point Rose Covered Cottage - with Smart TVs, Free WIFI and AC

This charming two story classic Nantucket rose covered cottage is located in Brant Point, just a 10 minute walk to the center of town, 3 beaches and ferries. There is no need for a car, though there is a private off-street driveway area in front of the house. This traditional Nantucket cottage has been completely refurbished with new furnishings and decorations, luxury European sheets, bedding, towels, dishes and glassware - and HVAC split system (thermostatic controls) replacing all window units and space heaters. The entire exterior was has been re-shingled with a new roof, rear deck and bluestone patio, and an outdoor shower, all while retaining the cottage's historic Nantucket charm. The flowers and hydrangeas are in full bloom from May to September, so enjoy a backyard barbecue with Weber gas grill, the teak backyard table and chairs and new adirondack chairs This two-bedroom, one bath, two story home comfortably sleeps 4. The bathroom is new May 2025 with new shower and new tile floor. The master bedroom has a queen bed - the second bedroom has two twin beds - all beds have new mattresses and boxsprings. The living room has a new 42" Smart flat screen TV. The fully equipped kitchen with all appliances adjoins the dining area . Both bedrooms have 23" Smart flat screen TVs. Laundry room contains a large capacity washer/dryer. Secured Xfinity wireless internet and digital cable TV.

The location of this property couldn't be beat, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. However, it is a very tight space, and the hot water was exhausted quickly for showers and hard to manage across four guests.

Beautiful cottage with impeccable yard

We loves our stay in this cottage which was decorated with so many Nantucket touches. The location is awesome and Robert was super responsive and provided great suggestions for our stay. My only wish is that we can stay longer next time!

Perfect spot!

This cute little cottage is full of charm and is situated perfectly on the island of Nantucket. Easy walk to town and a couple beaches. Beautiful back yard with great seating and an amazing outdoor shower. Kitchen is tiny but does the trick. For a location walkable to town, you can’t go wrong. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay, great property

We (two adults, one adolescent) had a great stay at this property the last week in July 2022. Robert is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful with suggestions, and minor additional accommodations we needed. The property is beautiful, with a wonderful back garden that we got a lot of use out of - especially the outdoor shower! Great location for walking into town. Highly recommended.

Cozy Cottage

Mid-July stay seeking a walkable location to town, nearby beaches and great restaurants. We had a car at the end of our stay to go to other parts of the island but walking to Epernay & Current Vintage was easy for fine wine. The back garden and abundant outdoor furnishings were very nice— and hedged in lawn area feels tranquil and private. We also loved that the outside shower was great water pressure and spacious. I would love to return another visit!

Classic Cottage - As Walkable As It Is Charming

We so enjoyed our time on Nantucket in this cute and cozy cottage. Our girls (9 & 6) loved sleeping in the matching twin beds upstairs. The landscaping was gorgeous, as was the yard. The kitchen and laundry made it a convenient stay with kids. We rented bikes, but typically walked to town or drove to any excursions. Angela, the housekeeper was gracious, as was our host.

lovely cottage

This place was perfect for our group. Iw was tiny, but the owner really maximized the space. There were hooks everywhere and ample space for clothing. the decor was top notch. We had two teenage girls with us and they loved it. Outdoor shower made it easy to get by with one bathroom. Can't top the location. Easy bike ride/walk to town and beach. Back yard was well landscaped and furnished with comfortable seating. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Perfection!

This was a perfect cottage and location for our family of four (daughters ages 20 and 17.) The pictures show the exact beauty of the property. We rented 4 bikes at Young's and used them every day to go to all the beaches, dinners, lunches, museums and shopping. Robert was great with his suggestions for dinners and reservations. He was also very flexible with our arrival day and time, since it didn't exactly fit his calendar. It is really a special place on a quiet street. We even hosted a lobster take out dinner (from Sayle's) for 7 people :) Favorite activities were whale watching, renting a jeep for the day (with beach sticker), and Cisco Brewery. Favorite meals were all of them- lobster rolls everywhere, oysters freshly caught, and shrimp and grits at Toppers. You will not be disappointed at Rose Covered Cottage in Brant Point. Thank you, Robert, we will be back!

charming, well-maintained cottage

The cottage is adorable! The location is perfect--very close to town and a few of the beaches--but also on a quiet street in Brant Point. The cottage itself is very small, but has everything you need for an excellent stay and worked very well for our family of four. The interior was bright, clean and well-maintained with nice, comfortable bedding. The backyard was a plus with plenty of seating and an outdoor shower. We didn't do a lot of cooking, but there is a large gas grill outside, and everything you might want to prepare meals in the kitchen. There is even a small space to park your car in front of the house, although you could easily do without your car because the location is so prime. The upstairs sleeping space is in a loft with narrow eaves so you just need to be careful when getting in and out of the beds, but the kids thought it was a fun, cozy area. Robert, the owner, was very accomodating and easy to work with. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Great little home!

We loved our stay here! There were a few issues, like ants in the bathroom. Owner was very responsive; however, I don't think I should have to call someone else to remedy the problem. That should be his responsibility. Also, the kitchen picture clearly shows a small coffeemaker. We brought coffee. There was only a percolator and a small Moka. We Googled how to use, but we never got a good cup of coffee! Major letdown, as we were a good 10-min. walk to coffee place. We also finally found more washcloths upstairs, the day we left. The backyard is a wonderful oasis! It's a wonderful home with a great location, so the minor issues did not ruin it for us.

The definition of charming…

We loved our stay. The property was charming and had it all, great location, comfort, and cleanliness. A five minute walk to the center of town and a brief bike or car ride to the beaches it met our needs perfectly.

Just what we needed

The cottage is so adorable and was perfect for our first stay on Nantucket. It is in a great location - close enough to walk to the beach/downtown but far enough from the hustle and bustle. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The backyard was my favorite! The cutest place to relax. Can’t wait to visit again!

Brant Point is the perfect location!

We come to Nantucket every summer and love staying in Brant Point. Easy access to walk to town, jetties or children’s beach, which is ideal with our young children! We have 3 kids and all 3 slept upstairs in the loft, which they loved. The location was great, the house was super clean, and the communication with the owner was fast when needed!

Adorable little cottage

The cottage is very sweet and in a great location. Easy to walk to town but also nice and quiet. The house is small but big enough for our family of 4 for two nights. Any longer than 3 nights and it probably would have felt too small. Two kids slept upstairs which was great for the adults to get to stay up past kid bedtime.

Cute Cottage Close to Town!

Super cute cottage close to town! The backyard was fantastic to hang out in after a day at the beach. Easily walkable to downtown which made getting around very convenient. This is your classic summer cottage, no frills, but decorated so cute. Can’t wait to come back!
