The Space

A short 13 minute walk from beautiful downtown Burbank, the Cozy Cottage is a well-appointed and comfortable one-bedroom apartment with an elegant boutique touch. Enjoy luxury bedding, abundant amenities, 65" flat screen TV and full kitchen. Experience five diamond standards with at home comfort, privacy and security. An ALDI supermarket is at the other end of the street.

Relaxation and comfort will come easy during your stay with us. Your experience includes queen-size luxury bedding, unlimited hot showers, free wifi and digital 65" widescreen with Netflix, Amazon and Hulu.

You will also have a full size kitchen at your fingertips with all the cooking comforts you could wish for. A full size fridge, soap, shampoo and towels are among the many delightful amenities available during your stay at the Cozy Cottage.

Enjoy accommodations and VIP treatment of a boutique hotel with at home comfort, privacy and security.

The building is a charming and cozy 5-unit apartment residence. There is a dedicated, individual entrance for maximum privacy and home-like comfort.

Guest Access

Ample unrestricted street parking is available, no permits or pesky meter feeding required. Driveway parking is reserved for our permanent residents. Everything is digital, no keys to weigh you down during your time out and about. I set a new code for each guest which assures total privacy and security during your stay.

Interaction with Guests

Depending upon the time of year, Self check-in is available or you may meet and greet with your host, sharing tips and information about the apartment and local area.

The Neighborhood

I love the Magnolia Park area of Burbank. This property sits next to the Chandler bike path and is walking distance from the downtown Burbank area. There's convenient food, markets and plenty of shopping nearby.

Getting Around

I always recommend rideshares such Uber or Lyft, but public transportation is equally within reach.

Other Things to Note

I have been in the hospitality industry since 2005. I owned and operated two hotels and I have traveled extensively. My sensibilities are for the traveler and the amenities included in your stay meet my high standards for quality hotel accommodations. In addition, the Cozy Cottage offers the fastest and most reliable internet available in the city.

House Rules

I cater to the nonsmoker without pets. Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment nor on the property. Our other tenants dislike the aroma. We love small non-human friends, but unfortunately they are not allowed at the property. We observe quiet time from 10pm to 8am and kindly request that you do the same by turning down your music or television during these times.

great extended stay

Amazing 2+ month stay. The cottage was super clean, which I very much appreciated. Extremely walkable neighborhood, I walked a few miles each day and passed by numerous restaurants, shops and parks on my walks. Christopher was very responsive and helpful. I’m looking forward to staying at the cottage again in the future!

It was so perfect for my stay while my daughter had her first baby on June 4th. Quiet neighborhood close to a grocery store and restaurant. It was two blocks away from my family. This is a great location. Loved the shower and full kitchen. It had a great TV too. I would stay again and not surprised it is always booked. Bed was also great. Only suitable for two people.

Clean and Comfortable

Everything you need and nothing you don’t. Easy access and location. Daily contact with property manager making sure needs were met. Coffee, tea, bathroom amenities, super clean linens and bedding, plenty of trash bins and extra blanket, comfy couch and nice TV with streaming services. Would stay here again. Perfect for 1-2 people. Circa 1949 architecture.

Many good points that I so appreciated:--my best friend in the LA area lived only 1.4 miles away from this home--which was awesome!--The hostess for this property, was very receptive and quick in her response.--Separate note: It would have been good if the weather was a bit cooler; but there was a window a/c unit was in the kitchen, and it did help.--It would have been nice to have parked in the driveway, being a single woman on this trip, but--once hostess gave me the days that the cars needed to be moved due for street cleaning. (one can't have everything--which I understand.--the house was clean --I did give the hostess some feedback regarding some of the areas--but all was good and I had a wonderful 9-day stay. --thank you so much to the hostess for sharing that home! I would easily recommend it to anyone.--Thank you.(I do have one more small recommendation--for the kitchen. Because the counter top is a bit small, maybe a small cart to the left of the counter-top, that would help a lot. (I don't drink coffee so I was able to remove the coffee maker; however, I feel the little cart (on wheels) would be a real benefit for the kitchen.Thanks again! I would stay there again in a minute!

Great, cozy & clean place!

I had a 14 day stay here and found it absolutely delightful. It was clean, which was of the utmost importance to me PRIOR to covid, so in the midst of the pandemic I was pleased to enter into an environment I felt safe in. It was small, but I didn’t feel cramped - and I purposely looked for a place this size, so I was pleased. Also, the amenities were just as described and pictured and just right since I was there by myself. I loved it and would stay here again as well as recommend to friends. The owners were completely helpful, communicative, professional and respectful which is always appreciated and makes things easier. The neighborhood was quiet and mellow, which I liked a lot and I found the location to be convenient if I needed to eat or shop. Admittedly, since I was mostly following the “safer-at-home” guidelines, I didn’t venture out much. All-in-all if you need a good place to stay while you’re in town consider this as an option.

It’s the little things-

Always neat, clean and comfortable! Enjoyed and tea bags our first morning and for evenings. The sugar and creamers were a nice addition as well as the soaps and shampoos. A really comfortable and enjoyable experience. Thank you to all for taking time for the little things which are really big things when traveling!

I enjoyed the clean status, the attention from the owner and his lessons on a smart tv which I had not used. internet is good. this apartment is located well and Burbank has everything you need including good access to 2 freeways. also good for surface streets to surrounding areas.

Quaint, Comfy and Quiet

We enjoyed our stay very much. According to my wife who is from the area, it was great location close to friends and some family. The only thing we would change is the coffee maker. A French press is great, but I want my morning coffee to be quick. Christopher was very helpful and responsive.

I have a Braun coffee maker I lend guests who do not like French press and we spoke and interacted multiple times during your stay but you didn't mention this friend.
