We spent the weekend here, nice location and layout. Kids live in Ashtabula, and stopped over for an afternoon visit. Would highly recommend this location.
My husband, mother, & I were needing an overnight stop off point while traveling & hoping to get more than a "Don't blink!" Lake Erie view. The Lodge checked off both boxes & a few we didn't know we had.
Very clean but no Lake Erie trail for older people like us. Weather kept us from enjoying fishing but the house made up for that comfy, quiet, and clean !! Thank you
The place was very nice. It was clean and well stocked with all the needs for our stay. The place had lots of space to just sit and relax. It was worth the price of the visit.
Peace place too stay.lots room for 8 people. Lot room park 2 boats 3 cars. Got everything you need too clean your fish here. Very nice host. We be back next year.. thanks
The house was cozy and cabin-like. We enjoyed the small-town feel of Conneaut and the sizable yard made it feel like we were in the country. Everything was good and as expected.
Roomy property, beautiful setting. We needed a quiet place for me, my pal and our two pups. We always look for properties in quiet areas without the noise and congestion of the tourist areas and this fit the bill. We’d spent the afternoon at Presque Isle and this was an easy drive.
We only stayed one night as we were driving through the area but we have no complaints. The house was convenient to get to, the owner was responsive, and we had a comfortable stay. Thanks!
We found the stay to be very pleasant. The Beds were very comfortable! The owners were very helpful and responsive! We liked having the pool table and dart board to use. The yard space would provide plenty of room in the summer for a large gathering like Reunion etc. would be perfect for the out of town fisherman .
Had a very nice stay, the lodge was very cozy, the yard was huge, too cold to really be out for too long but was able to have a fire one night. Close to stores for quick runs. Only thing I wish it would have had was handicap grab bars in the shower, for my elderly mother but all in all it was a nice stay

Getaway
Nothing like pictures. Had a musty smell like a wet basement. Built in 1928, not much updated. Looks like a fishing cabin, is close to Lake Erie. Outside property was pretty and peaceful.
We booked at the last minute and Terri and Butch accommodated us so graciously. Their cabin is in an idyllic location and has everything needed for a getaway. Butch met us at checkin and showed us everything to make our stay smooth and comfortable.
We would definitely come back again when we need a place to relax and unwind.
Clean home very peaceful. Fun rec room. Jetted tub was relaxing. Amazing bed. Slept like a baby. Friendly courteous host. Left an item after checkout offered to ship it back to me. Very gracious
A nice rustic lake cottage experience with plenty of extras
The place was clean and well kept, there's really only 2 usable bedrooms upstairs, but plenty of fold out couches up and downstairs to crash on if you have a large group thats not too fussy. Everything worked as it should, showers were hot and the host had great communications. I wish it wasn't a work trip so I could have taken more time to enjoy the 50 acres of property that the house is situated on. Rent with confidence !
Property beautiful. Great location. House needs some updating but was clean and ok. Only problem needs some humidifiers. Musty smell was a little off putting and bothered my asthma. That was my only complaint.
