Our stay was spectacular from start to finish. The host was in touch at all times. Our stay was wonderful and very relaxing. The house and lake are just what we all needed. We will be sure to return soon!
This is such a beautiful house on the lake. Everything you need is there. The boat wine trail was a unique experience. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a happy place to stay. Thank you Tina & David
Such a relaxing and amazing stay! More than enough room in this house for our guests. Every morning we enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake. Cant say enough great things about our stay. Everything about the listing is accurate and the pictures don't do this house justice, very well kept clean, maintained and the kitchen is literally stocked with everything. There are 2 security cameras at the house too, both exterior only. Highly recommend your stay here if you want to be calm and relaxed during your vacation.
We had a great experience staying at the house. The location on the lake was incredible with great views and a quiet atmosphere. We look forward to staying again.
The house is beautiful, TONS of room/space for a large group and stocked with everything we needed! Thankfully we had beautiful weather but the huge covered deck(s) make it enjoyable to be outside in any weather. The fire pit was an awesome way to end the day by the water and enjoy the sunset! The water would be perfect for littles to play as it’s a shallow shore and only goes up to about 3ish ft. Tina was great and easy to communicate with, checked in to make sure everything was ok. Would absolutely love to be back!
Tina’s house was absolutely amazing the view of the lake and the cleanliness of the house was phenomenal. Anyone looking to stay at Tina’s place you will certainly not be disappointed! Lots of games to play beautiful deck that overlooks the lake. My family and I were very pleased with the stay! Thanks again for everything Tina!
The property was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well located. The six of us enjoyed gathering around large kitchen table for our meals. we would return. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we never turned on the TV.
The house exceeded every expectation!
It offered so much space and so many activities for everyone! We all loved using the kayaks, the pool table and just relaxing on the massive deck! It is an amazing property!
We had a wonderful stay- this house is just as described- with a beautiful lake front- ample sitting inside and out to enjoy the lake view.
House was clean, and very well stocked. Didn’t need to bring anything but food and drinks!!
If you’re planning a Finger Lakes getaway- this place is perfect!!!
Wonderful property with a beautiful roomy home. Everything you need is there. Cove is sand bottom and you can walk out to beautiful Cayuga Lake. We kept our boat at their dock. If it was too windy we rented a slip at hibiscus harbor. Easy in and out. Homeowner was so welcoming and open to any question. You will love it
The lakefront home and accommodations - upstairs and downstairs - were great for our large multi-generational group. The two large common areas allow for young children to separate and play actively when needed on a couple of rainy days. Watching the gorgeous sunsets on the large deck were a daily ritual not to be missed. The hot tub was a nice and well-used feature. We have recommended it to others already and will definitely look to return here! Liz & Bruce and family
Had a great stay. Everything was wonderful. Only complaint, not enough garbage cans. We were on vacation so obviously didn’t want to spend time doing dishes and used paper plates. The garbage cans were 80% full before we even used. Other than that it was an amazing time!

Hi Sally. We are glad you had a nice stay. I will be sure to check in with the town disposal service to make sure they are taking the trash weekly as they should. Thanks so much. Tina
We had a very nice long Labor Day weekend at the house. The house was the perfect size for my family. 6 adults and 4 kids. The house was clean and comfortable and was in a nice shallow cove on the lake. The cove did get very crowded with boats that would anchor there for the day but that did not bother us. The only issue we had was that there were a lot of bees that were somehow getting in the downstairs and there were some that were already dead when we first got to the house, making me think it was an ongoing problem. Thankfully none of us are allergic, just more of an annoyance having to keep a watch to kill them as they came in.

Hi Carley. We are glad you had a nice stay. We do have our house professionally sprayed by pest control every spring and summer and they come out to address issues as they arise. Bees are not an ongoing issue in any one place in the house but it does happen in the summer from time to time. We appreciate our guests letting know when they notice issues so we can promptly have it taken care of. Thanks again. Tina

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
CAUTION: MICE INFESTATION & Other concerns, details in review
Proceed with caution, see below, we did not want to leave this review but have been advised to do so since homeowner is not cooperating after agreed upon solution on 7/12: 1. Upon checking in to property 7/4/21 and setting up sleeping areas downstairs in lakeside bedroom it was discovered there were dozens of mouse droppings in the lower two drawers where blankets were stored, more droppings were found under both kitchen sink areas, contacted owner, cleaner came back and just cleaned the 1 drawer and kitchen area and did not look around on own to address any other potential dropping areas 2. Saw mouse that evening under cabinets 4pm in kitchen & heard mouse under the kitchen sink lake side area around 9:30pm 3. Discovered more mouse droppings morning of 7/5 on kitchen counter, sink, & cleaned dishes near front entrance, notified owner, spoke on phone, dispatched the local exterminator who came at noon the day of 7/6, poison and bait traps were set 4. Left home for excursion to get out of house after exterminator 7/6 for 2 hours during the afternoon and came back to a mouse caught in the trap on top of kitchen counter, had to dispose of dead mouse, notified homeowner (mouse was out during day time) 5. Did more investigation on 7/6 & 7/7 after the mouse was caught so soon to find additional fresh droppings under sink near back porch area in kitchen. 6. Caught additional adult mouse on morning of 7/8, notified and opened case with VRBO. 7. On 7/9 found dying infant mouse in back downstairs bedroom, as the evening came an additional 2 infant mice came from locked downstairs utility room, staggered into lower back bedroom dying - discovered as we were trying to move all children & sleeping areas upstairs for the last night. Discovered additional fresh droppings in middle drawer of lakeside downstairs bedroom and droppings all over the carpet on wall of dresser & behind dresser, texted homeowner to notify of a much more substantial rodent issue. 8. Were were told during conversations and texts with homeowner that this was "not ever a problem before, and had no complaints prior." In conversation with husband of homeowner on 7/12 disclosed they had caught occasional mice before, this was never disclosed prior to renting. 9. Owner has backed out of agreed upon partial refund. 10. Other: beach area overgrown, bugs never cleaned from screens, carpet chewed up, broken screen, cracked toilet handle. VRBO escalated case to Health & Safety Department.

Patty, firstly, it is unfortunate that you followed through with your threat to write a bad review about our home to try to hurt our presence here when we didn't capitulate to your unreasonable demand to refund you more than half of the amount you paid to stay. We did offer to credit you a nights stay for your inconvenience but that was not enough for you. And as I honestly indicated to you earlier and as our prior reviews show, we have not had an ongoing issue with mice. The guests that stayed the very week before you made no mention of it. It was clearly an isolated incident. Unfortunately, it happens sometimes. We did respond immediately sending out our cleaning service and going through hoops to send out an exterminator in expediated fashion, the very next day. Of course, the issue may not be resolved in just one day but we did all that we could to make it better as quick as possible. It is clearly not an "INFESTATION" considering the family that stayed the week before you had no signs of mice and the 2 families that stayed there the 2 weeks after you left made no mention of mice. We were there this past week and saw no sign of mice. So unfortunately it happened that a couple mice came in while you were there. It is NOT an ongoing situation that we have ignored by any means. The amount of credit you are requesting, more than half of the cost of your stay, is an exorbitant amount for the situation. You did stay up until the very last scheduled available time at our house. I assume that if it were as bad as you claim, you have left early and we would absolutely would have credited you for the time not spent. We did ask multiple times to share with us pictures and video that you said you have but after all this time we don't understand why we still have not seen any. It would help us assess the situation. I think we are being fair based on the information that we have. I am really sorry that we could not come to some mutual agreement. I am there personally, washing every blanket, bedspread and sheet in the house before guests arrive and making sure everything in our home is cleaned. I take pride in the cleanliness of our home. There are some bugs on the outside windowsills every day at our house. Anyone who has experience being at the lake knows that when you are at the lake, bugs are a daily occurrence. Know that I clean them every week. They are definately outside of the house, NOT inside. As far as the carpet, it is not chewed up. We had a tiny snag in the carpet at one time and recently had a family member with a walker stay at the house and that seemed to expediate the expansion of the mark. We have plans to replace the carpets soon which aside from that mark, are not in bad shape. The Health and Safety department at VRBO did receive your report and got in touch with me. After considering the situation, our response and protocol, they very quickly dismissed the complaint. We responded in the quickest way possible to your issue. It is clearly not negligence on our part. Despite this issue, I am glad you were able to spend a week at our home enjoying the lake, the hot tub, the views and the serenity at the lake. Again, we love our house at Springport Cove and we take pride in it. We love to share our home with others and want them to experience a great time. We work hard at keeping up our property and have gone out of our way to personally make the stay at our place as perfect as possible. With love of the lake and wanting to share it, Tina.
Clean, comfortable and a great location. And we really had fun with the ping-pong table, four of us were really into it. Renting a pontoon boat half mile up the road turned into a great day.
We had an incredible week! Our group of friends have spent a week in the fingerlakes every summer for years. This house was by far our favorite. Spacious. Clean. Amenities. Location. All fantastic. The only thing disappointing is that it’s booked completely for next summer already.
This property was absolutely amazing! We spent the weekend with 3 other couples. The guys spent most of their time playing pool and poker while the ladies spent time upstairs by the fire enjoying each other's company. The hot tub was an added bonus as it is December and we couldn't enjoy too many of the other outdoor amenities. The location. Was also Fantastic and close to local breweries and wineries, so we enjoyed an afternoon away from the house too. The house was fully stocked with everything we could have possibly needed and then some. Tina's communication with me was also great prior to our stay and even throughout the stay. We can't wait to have another couples getaway at this location in the future!
The perfect location to gather with old friends for a couple of days....spacious, comfortable, well stocked and the view of course was spectacular. Would highly recommend a visit here!
The house was beautiful, the upgrades done since our last stay, were great. Beautiful views.
Wonderful relaxing time with family in a beautiful house and location.
