The beach access was super close and we mostly had the pool to ourselves. Seeing the sunrise from the living room balcony was lovely. The unit is very spacious but also very dated. You couldn't turn on the bathroom light upstairs without the exhaust fan on which caused some sleep disruption. The carpet is very stained throughout and I found a cockroach in the dining area. I was definitely a little disappointed upon the initial walkthrough. If they updated this unit, it would be fabulous!

The best thing about the property was the beach. The condo is terribly outdated. A plumber had to come twice; once because the upstairs toilet and tub leaked into the dining room and once for the AC leaking water. The sinks won’t drain. We killed several roaches. Dishes were located in a mechanical closet beside moldy pipes. A bag of garbage was left outside our door all week until we finally took it to the dumpster. The sofas and carpet desperately need cleaning. The beds were comfortable. There was easy access to the beach, but the code to re-enter wouldn’t work. Nobody could get it open, so we waited for someone to let us in. This is the first negative review I’ve ever made on VRBO. I like the vintage decor, but this needs updating before renting again.

We have stayed at Creston House for over 20 years. We love it there. Our host was excellent in communicating. There was some construction going on but it really was only noticed when we were at the pool. Overall it was excellent.

Our condo was super cute and we had balconies in every bedroom with a bonus roof one perfect for watching sunsets/sunrises. We had a leak in the roof and they were prompt about answering afterhours and being flexible with getting it repaired.

This is our second time in this condo. The tanners in the family love the roof top deck. There have also been some nice improvements since our last visit!

Favorite place to stay at St Aug Beach!

My family has been visiting Creston House since 2014, and we love it! The buildings, pool, and grounds are well cared for. Super proximity to the beach! We like that its on the quieter end of the island. The unit has beautiful views and is a perfect location! I would definitely recommend it!

Girls trip

This place is good if you’re not looking for all of the modern “looks”. It needs some renovations, repairs and updates, but not bad enough that you wouldn’t enjoy your stay. Location is great, quiet neighborhood, and accommodated 5 girls just fine. Our next stay we will look for something “nicer”
