This newly built, dog-friendly Rockaway Beach vacation rental has it all! Your vacation will be spent in luxury with sweeping ocean views from both levels, a private hot tub on the deck, trendy and comfortable furnishings, and a location just steps from the beach. This high-end house has plenty of room for a group, and chefs will feel right at home with a full kitchen plus a second refrigerator and wet bar downstairs.

Walk out the back door and you are directly next to the beach. Right across the highway is Lake Lytle, where you can try your luck catching a few fish. Take a two-minute drive or a leisurely walk into the heart of Rockaway Beach where you can window shop or grab a bite to eat at any of the restaurants in town. Garibaldi is a short drive to the south where you can go crabbing, or you might prefer to head north about 10 miles to Manzanita and take a stroll down Laneda Avenue for more shopping and dining choices.

Beautiful home

Booked this home for a mother-daughter trip to the beach. Definitely a little big for just two, but we each got our own king sized suites and bathrooms. The views are absolutely insane. Modern furnishings and a very comfortable home. Less than a minute drive to the main strip. Beach access was a little difficult for an older person. But there are other access points nearby. We hope to stay here again!

Stay at Own Risk - Kids Covered in Rash

Took our kids to Children's Hospital Urgent Care, the DR confirmed they have hot tub folliculitis from a DIRTY hot tub. Every single detail about this house was disgusting from the moment we arrived. On night one, I almost packed up the car and went home and we should have. Now my kids will have a rash from this disgusting home for 2 weeks. The housecleaning staff put WET bedsheets on the beds. Then extra sheets WET in the drawers. You have to be some kind of special to think that is acceptable. So, we arrive at 6 pm and the bed in the master bedroom has a bunch of black hairs on the white bedsheets. I strip the bed and wash all the bedding (it took until 11 pm to finish). Then a kid asked me why their bed was wet. This led me to check every bed - every bed was wet. In looking for extra sheets, that's when I found the wet linens in the drawers in the particle board cabinetry. The house may photograph well, but it is CHEAP. Make sure to read all the reviews, not just the fake, happy ones. Read the real ones, about how water was pouring out of the ceiling. There is a big orange fan, commercial type, used to dry out water damage, kept in the hall closet. Also in this closet is a garbage bag of - now dry - but was once wet towels. Seems like housekeeping has a habit of storing wet towels/linens. Text-limit - but you have been warned!!!

Gorgeous ocean views

We really enjoyed this house and its amazing ocean views. The location is unbeatable. Especially loved that we could access the beach from the property. It was very clean and well stocked in the kitchen. We had a couple issues getting the tvs and mini-splits to work. Also, the range/stove was difficult to control (and we are experienced cooks), but we were mostly able to figure it out. I’m notifying Vacasa and hopefully those things will be fixed for future guests.

Great location and large house

Teriffic views, and great location for walks on the beach (access from house is difficult (big steps down rocks, no rail), but easier stairs with rail nearby). Kitchen is great for family cooking, and two large living rooms/hang out spaces. Lots of stairs, so not great for folks w/ mobility issues. Otherwise, a very nice place, especially for a large family/friends gathering. Would stay there again.

Perfect beach home!

This is a beautiful, spacious home located right on the beach with all the amenities you could want both inside and outside....including beach toys & outside shower/faucet.
