Family vacation

We stayed at this cottage for the second year in a row. Our family loves it and now calls it our vacation home. Everything is perfect. The grandkids never want to leave. It is beautifully maintained and furnishing are perfect. Clean and very welcoming.

Just returned home from a wonderful week's stay in your beach house. It was beautiful and so comfortable and convenient to everything! We usually stay in a high-rise condo, and decided to try your beach house this time, and we will never go back to the high-rise condos! LOVED STAYING AT YOUR HOME! Thank you!

Great cozy cottage

We just stayed in this lovely cottage for our Spring Break trip with our family. It was perfect for the 6 of us, plenty of room, great location and very clean, cute and cozy!! Loved the front porch too!! We were only a few steps from the pool and beach! I can tell the owner takes great pride in the property and was very responsive to our needs(which were minimal). I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking to spend their vacation in Destin. We have been here several times and I truly loved the "neighborhood" feel vs condo.

A Little Piece of Heaven

We had a wonderful stay in the Garden Cottage! The cottage is beautifully decorated and clean. There was plenty of room for my husband, four teenage children, and I. It was a short walk to the beach and the free beach service was much appreciated. We also really enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning and evening. We stayed in a condo on Fort Walton Beach last year but we all agreed we enjoyed this location better. Thank you for a marvelous vacation!

"Hurry up and book it for next year"

This is our third year to stay at this beautiful cottage. Every year as we are packing to head for home my family says "hurry and book it for next year". We love everything about it. The location so near the beach, the chair and umbrella set up, the nice furnishings, the front porch and the ice cream truck that comes by every afternoon. The owner is so kind and responsive. The management company makes sure it is always spotless upon our arrival and if we have an issue the address it very quickly.

Perfect location!

This house was perfect for us! Parking for 3-4 vehicles, perfect location, very functional, and lots of kitchen equipment. However if you don't like blue, you might not enjoy it as much. Everything is blue! Beautiful, but blue. Some beds are super comfortable, one was terrible. I recommend the queen mattress be replaced. Otherwise, I would choose to stay here again. It was a great vacation.

Beach rereat

Wonderful vacation this summer staying in the Garden Cottage!! Beginning from entering the house it was spotless and fresh smelling. The whole house had wveeything we needwd atarting with kitchen being equipped with everything to cook and all bedrooms fresh linens and plenty of towels. The neighborhood was quiet and very well kept along with the swimming pool area. The beach was awesome also woth daily beach service compliments of cottage owner. Cant wait until next summer already secured spot to stay again!!😀

Absolutely perfect!

This cottage proved to be everything we could have wished for in our Destin vacation. The property is just wonderful; the interior furnishings are delightful, beds comfortable and there's everything you need in the kitchen. The location is perfect; a quick stroll gets you to the private access to the beach (beach service included) and if you prefer, the pool is just a few strides along the street. The front porch is an ideal place to relax and watch the world go by with a bottle of wine! There's a great choice of restaurants, some within walking distance, many more if you wish to drive. Sunset at Captain Dave's is not to be missed! The Outlet Mall at Silver Sands is worth a trip and there's numerous retail opportunities along 98. The harbour is very busy and anyone interested in fishing would love it, however, there's loads to see and do for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed the property and fell in love with Destin. Looking forward to a return trip.

October vacation

We were very impressed by the property. Very clean and well presented. Also a very convenient location close to the beach with private access. A big bonus was the beach setup with chairs and sunshade. Frangista is near the golf courses and there is plenty of restaurants and shopping. This is the best beach we have ever visited.

Perfect for Us

We (my wife and I) booked A Garden Cottage for January and February 2014. The intent was to enjoy comfortable accommodation while on a getaway from a harsh Canadian winter. The house met or exceeded our expectations in every way. Our bedroom was equipped with upscale furnishings and top quality bedding. Bathrooms were bright and spacious. The living room boasted 3 plush sofas which proved perfect for reading, napping and TV. Being there for 2 months, we cooked many meals. I especially appreciated the well equipped kitchen - all the pots and pans you would need, lots of cutlery, plenty of counter space and list of light. Plus, in the dining area, a big, solid dining table with sturdy, comfortable chairs. The entire living and dining area is surrounded by windows looking out to the yard and street, making for a pleasant, bright space. Rental included the use of 4 bikes, which we used frequently on the several mile long beachfront bike path. We also made good use of the barbecue grill, something that is not always available at other Destin area rentals. Frangista is a pleasant, quiet neighbourhood, one block back from Scenic Gulf Drive and the beach. We look forward to coming back next winter.
