About this property

Prather Place, Spacious, Deck And View, Entertaining Basement, Minutes to Marina

This was our first house of five that we chose for Lake Vistas Properties. It is a large three story lake view house located at 1254 Prather Dr. Nancy KY, less than a mile from Lee's Ford Marina and Pulaski County Park. Enough space to get lost in. A spacious open floor plan to hold large gatherings with plenty of driveway for parking and/or boats along with a very large 2 car garage. Four bedrooms (2 kings, full, and a full/twin bunk bed) with an additional cuddy (3 twin beds) room. Two full baths upstairs, full bath on main level, and half bath downstairs.Open floor plan on main level with full lake views throughout. Two sleeper leather twin sofas on main level also. Basement with full entertainment bar area, pool table, shuffle board, and foosball table, poker table, theatre room. Over 2,000 square feet of decking allowing for the full sound of all the action on the water. King rooms with private Juliet balconies. Main level decking full length of the house with lounging. Lower level decking off bar/entertainment area. Laundry room on main level with washer and dryer and utility sink. Full equipped kitchen, seating at bar area for 4 in kitchen, dining table seats 8, dishwasher, oven, microwave, 2 sinks, refrigerator with ice maker, all granite countertops, outdoor charcoal grill off of main deck of kitchen with outside dining for 6.

Thanks to Summer, who is the host of this property, for all the swift communication she provided whenever I had any questions. Because of her recommendation, I hired a private chef for our women's retreat. I would highly recommend this property. It was very nice but …. Could have been cleaner! Tons of bath towels and dish towels but no rhyme or reason on dishes, silverware, etc. we loved the game/bar room! We loved all the countertops in the kitchen and we loved the big table. Didn’t like the dirty lights, ceiling fans and windows!

Labor Day at Prather Place

We had a guys trip to Lake Cumberland and this house was awesome! Plenty of rooms, great game and media rooms, an awesome view of the lake, and plenty of beds! I would highly recommend staying here and checking out the local island golf course.

My name is Summer Lowery and I have been married to my husband Lynn since 2006. We have 2 beautiful girls, Arabella and Zoie. My husband and I were born and raised here and love what this area has developed into. We enjoy boating ourselves, good food, and gathering with family and friends.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I feel in love with this property as soon as we got reintroduced to it. We both grew up in this neighborhood as children, played in these woods, road our bikes around the subdivision and made plenty of memories. We were actually neighbors for a period of time. When this property came up for sale we both were excited to purchase for the remodel and make it our first vacation rental. With a breathtaking view we never turned back!
