Renovated Alsatian house where the old and the modern combine to bring you a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms with LCD TV (bed 160x200), toilet on the landing, on the ground floor, living room with LCD TV, dining room and open kitchen fully equipped (hob, hood, dishwasher, refrigerator , coffee machine, washing machine, dryer), toilet, bathroom with walk-in shower. You can also enjoy the terrace with electric barbecue. This cottage is located on a plot of 2500m2 where are our house and another small cottage for 2 people, you can also enjoy the heated pool (8mx4m) to share with the other cottage and ourselves.

Great stay

The cottage was spotlessly clean and a real credit to the hosts. Sundhouse is a lovely village and was really well located for Colmar and the Alsace wine valley. The pool was immaculately clean and very welcome on the hot days we had. A real home from home, which is what we were looking for.

A lot of thought has gone into every aspect of the accommodation very clean, peaceful and lovely hosts. They were both very welcoming and willing to help us with any questions that we had, a very quiet neighbourhood which made it lovely to sit and relax by the pool. Would highly recommend.

Impeccable !

The property is decorated ,equipped and presented as a perfect gite for couples or a family. The equipment in the gite is of a very high standard and is used with great confidence particularly the electrical equipment.All bedding and towels were fresh and exceptionally clean and of very good quality. Any queries you might have concerning the property or information regarding the area were easily answered by the charming hosts. They are not intrusive at all and the seating area on the patio is very private.The pool is maintained to a very high standard and is cleaned every day. In fact as we were there one of the owners was taking a sample of the pool water to be tested at a local laboratory. You can swim in confidence!Overall we as a couple could not have found a better gite if we tried. We were very grateful to have spent time here and recommend wholeheartedly.The whole area is very pretty and very close to the German border if you want a trip to sample German hospitality.The village has two good eateries.The Tonneau D'Or restaurant serves local food and has a menu du jour .Chez Ginette is a large bar and serves food too. The locals are very friendly and we felt very welcome in both establishments.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, alles ist wie auf den Bildern. Die Eigentümer leben in einem anderen Gebäude auf dem Grundstück und sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Lediglich zu bemängeln ist, dass die Fernseher kein Netflix/Internet haben und es nur 2 Restaurants im Ort gibt. Das direkt in der Nähe liegende hat jedoch nur an wenigen Abenden geöffnet (nur tagsüber Betrieb). Das Essen dort ist jedoch hervorragend. Der Pool auf dem Grundstück ist schön groß und gepflegt. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft gerne weiter.

Herzlicher Empfang in einem wundervollen Haus

Ein herzlicher Empfang von Jean-Philippe, auch mit verstaubtem Schulfranzösisch gut zu verstehen. Franck spricht auch gutes Englisch! Das Haus - ein Traum! Liebevoll und hochwertig umgebaut sind es nicht nur die Details die begeistern und verzaubern. Für einen Kurztrip zu den Weihnachtsmärkten gewählt haben wir die Adresse für einen weiteren Urlaub abgespeichert. Den Bäcker an der Ecke kann man wärmstens empfehlen und auch die Pizzaria. Un superbe séjour en Alsace

Gîte confortable, propre, décoré avec goût. Terrasse et jardin agréable et apaisant. La piscine extérieure chauffée est un plus. Et en prime des propriétaires très accueillants et toujours de bons conseils.

Der Aufenthalt bei Jean-Philippe und Franck war sehr schön. Wir wollten eine ruhige Zeit verbringen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Bei allen Fragen waren Jean-Philippe und Franck jederzeit für uns ansprechbar. Der Pool war für uns ein Highlight. Die Wohnung war liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt bei den beiden und haben die Ferienwohnung schon Freunden weiterempfohlen. Le séjour chez Jean-Philippe et Franck a été très agréable. Nous voulions passer un moment tranquille et n’avons pas été déçus. Jean-Philippe et Franck étaient toujours disponibles pour nous répondre à toutes nos questions. La piscine a été un moment fort pour nous. L’appartement était meublé avec amour et très bien entretenu. Nous attendons déjà avec impatience le prochain séjour avec les deux et avons déjà recommandé l’appartement à des amis.

Das Häuschen ist wunderschön, mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Sogar Waschmaschine und Trockner sind vorhanden. Der Garten und der Swimmingpool sind traumhaft und die beiden Gastgeber sind sehr sympatisch und haben sich gerne mit uns unterhalten trotz Sprachbarriere. Es gibt gleich um die Ecke einen hervorragenden Bäcker, 3 Restaurants, einen Fleischer und am Ortsrand einen sehr gut ausgestatteten Supermarkt. Wir haben uns prächtig erholt und taten uns schwer überhaupt wieder abzureisen. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Danke an Jean Philippe und Franck für den tollen Urlaub! LG Karoline und Jens

Ein kleines Paradies

Frank und Jean-Philippe sind mehr als nur perfekte Gastgeber. Wir haben uns vom ersten Tag an wie Freunde gefühlt. Für unsere Ausflüge hatten die beiden tolle Tipps parat. Das Haus, der Garten, das gesamte Anwesen, alles ist makellos, mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet und liebevoll umsorgt. Die Kinder haben den tollen Pool sehr genossen und wir alle haben uns in die Hunde verliebt. Das war wirklich eine wunderschöne Woche in einem kleinen Paradies. Vielen Dank, Ihr beiden, wir werden wieder kommen. À bientôt!

Es war alles perfekt! Ein wunderschönes, durchdachtes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus. Ein herrlicher Garten, ein perfekt gepflegter Pool. Rundum abgeschlossen mit den beide Hühnern und kleinen verstecken ein Paradies für unsere Tochter mit fünf. Die Beschreibung vermittelt ein sehr gutes bild der Gegebenheiten. In zwei Minuten zu Fuß uss ein Bäcker, in fünf ein fleischer und selbst der supermarkt ist schnell erreicht. Zu guter letzt sind die Hausherren perfekte Gastgeber, immer hilfsbereit, immer charmant. Kurz, es war eine wunderschöne Woche die wir bei jean phillip und franck verbracht haben! Merci Jean Phillip et Franck pour une semaine merveilleuse, vous avez créer un petit paradis et nous avons deja envie de revenir. Nous gardons un souvenir excellent et prendons tres soin de notre bananier, qui va nous faire penser souvent a vous !!

Erholsamer Urlaub in wunderbarer Umgebung

Wir waren für eine Woche bei Jean-Phillippe und Franck (und ihren süßen Hunden) zu Gast und haben unseren Aufenthalt Dank des hübschen Objektes und der sympathischen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber sehr genossen. Das Häuschen ist schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles macht einen neuen und sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Ein Problem mit der Dusche wurde sofort behoben. Auf dem Grundstück befindet sich gegenüber das Haus der Eigentümer, in dem sich auch die weitere Ferienwohnung auf der Rückseite befindet. Da diese nach zwei Tagen frei war, hatten wir den Rest der Woche den großzügigen Pool für uns. Vom Dörfchen Sundhouse ist man schnell über Landstraßen mitten an der Weinstraße, wo man sehr nette Orte besichtigen und bei Winzern sehr gute Weine probieren und kaufen kann. Am Ort gibt es einen gut sortierten kleinen Supermarkt, der nächste große Supermarché ist ca. 20 km entfernt. Zum Abschluss: wir haben noch nie so viele Störche auf einmal gesehen!!! Durch einen kleinen Unfall mussten wir leider einen Tag früher abreisen, aber auch zeigten sich Jean-Phillippe und Franck als ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend. Eine wunderbare, erholsame Woche, die uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Wir kommen gern wieder!
