Why they chose this property
This historic neighborhood is a relaxed, residential enclave, steps from fantastic dining, vibrant night life, galleries, cafes, and cultural sights. This is authentic New Orleans life! The people are a mix of locals, transplants, and tourists. The vibe is friendly, and tends toward the bohemian. It is extremely walkable, and central to many local attractions
The heart of St Roch is a southern live oak lined boulevard that will lead you up to the historic St Roch Cemetery or down to the St Roch Market, a contemporary food court featuring a wide variety of local vendors. Also in the immediate vicinity are groceries, pharmacies, live music, and open air markets. Between the world famous French Quarter and artsy Bywater neighborhoods, either can be reached by foot (about 30 min) or by car (about 5 min).
