Free Garage Parking, one block over. Saving you daily parking fees.

This Loft is the ideal location for getting acquainted with the city. The outdoor courtyard with fountain is the perfect place for afternoon drinks, or morning coffee. The famous High Cotton Restaurant is also located within the building.

There also wifi provided. Double Size foam topper sleeper sofa in the living room, only meant for child's use. Not intended for adult use, due to size.

The History, Architecture, Shopping, Night Life, and more are all waiting for your special visit to Charleston.

Close to just about everything in downtown Charleston and within walking distance to anything you would want to do! Awesome accommodations and supplied with anything a person may need while staying at the VRBO. Would absolutely stay at this VRBO again!

Awesome in every way!!

This property is extremely clean and the location is perfect. The apartment is walking distance to everything and the outdoor courtyard is perfect for morning coffee. Highly recommend and would stay here again when in town.

Great location, great apartment

This place was a great home base for exploring Charleston. The loft layout was cozy but still plenty spacious. The parking garage spot came in very handy as well. Will definitely stay here again!

I the heart of it all

Fantastic location. Walking distance to all the key places and attractions. The loft was more spacious than anticipated and had a nice view over the courtyard. Busy street but the apartment was quiet. Bed very comfy.

Great location

This condo is very close to all the great stuff in Charleston. It is a bit dated re interior decor and could use some fresh paint/clean up. The only negative is that there is virtually no sound insulation. When noisy guests come down the hall at 2am you can hear every word. And when they crank up the stereo/tv next door same deal. Still it's very close to all the good stuff and it has free parking.

Great location for enjoying restuarants and the Spoleto festival. The loft layout gave us nice room for spreading out. The bedroom loft did not allow for a king size bed, though, which is our preference. All in all, a nice setup.

Less than acceptable

Great location well within walking distance to everywhere downtown. Parking was as advertised, one block away with easy access. This is not our first trip to Charleston or our first stay at Lodge Alley Inn. When we arrived we were immediately disappointed with this unit. The condition and the cleanliness of the unit is definitely not up to the standards of the Inn. To start with, the A/C vent as you first enter the unit, located above the bar, had either several years of dust accumulated (as did many others) or mildew growing up the wall above. The kitchen drawers were dirty including the utensil tray holding the spoons and forks. The refrigerator needed a good cleaning as well. As I rounded the staircase up to the loft, I was greeted by a large hair ball that resembled the remains of someone cleaning their brush. In the bath, the shower curtain had accumulated mold/mildew growth, as did the grout line along the tub. The curtain did not appear to have been cleaned or replaced in years. The exhaust fan and light fixture above the tub needs to be repaired or replaced, and the floors need a serious cleaning. The bed, while at first glance and trial appeared to be in good shape we later discovered that the sheets had tears in them at the foot of the bed. This rental needs to be updated and cleaned. The instructions on exit read "The housekeeping service will remove bagged trash and swap out the linens"; this appears to be the extent of the cleaning procedure for this unit. Note to owner: If the cleaning fee is so that the linens are changed and trash is removed, you are OVER paying! Additionally, what kind of cleaning service would put torn sheets on a bed?? Several of the items reported above were reported by previous tenants as far back as 2013 and they have not been addressed (see earlier reviews). I will not book this unit in the future and would not recommend. Using my fiancee' Blue Green account, we were able to book another room for Friday night and Saturday night at Lodge Alley Inn due to cancellations but had to go back to this VRBO unit for Sunday night, again, disappointing. Photos were taken and can be provided.

Location is great! Having only one bathroom which is upstairs is a little unhandy. Parking is a pretty good little walk which is also a negative. However, the great location makes up for a lot of the negatives.

Great stay

This property was so conveniently located. A very walkable area, but with many other activities, such as boat rides to many other attractions. Wonderful restaurants located within blocks. We were given all instructions and information prior to dates stayed.

Best location ever!

Great location for everything- just blocks from great restaurants, bars, parks and tourist attractions. Walking distance to just about everything you'll need to see or do. Accommodations were perfect. Second floor overlooking the courtyard with fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed & bedding, cozy living room and charming decor. I would definitely recommend this location for a stay in beautiful Charleston.

Amazing location, well apportioned lodging. Only criticism is it wasn’t clear to me from the listing that the one bathroom is up the circular staircase which was awkward but would likely still return as long as that wouldn’t be an issue for someone in our party

Great Location

Great location - able to walk to most things in city. Nice place….comfortable, clean and spacious with high ceilings. Great communication with host (very quick responses to questions I had) and had a parking spot included which is a big plus in the city. Being an owned unit within a hotel gave you access to an onsite bar/restaurant and a front desk staff to help answer questions. Overall would stay here again……(I am a frequent visitor to Charleston to visit family)

Nice location

Location within walking distance to all activities. Host responsive and very attentive to help with internet crisis Unfortunately, we had no Wi-Fi access for 2 days. The loft is more amenable for 2 people vs 4 due to sleeping situation. pullout sofa was worn down and most of the furniture was dated and uncomfortable. The bed in upstairs loft was very comfortable. This host is not affiliated with the Lodge Valley Inn. Consequently the staff was less than accommodating and could generally not answer questions about the loft itself or allow us to enter into the most convenient entrance to the loft as they would not allow us a key fob. They actually never could pull us up in there system despite the fact the loft was clearly within their campus. The dishwasher was broken and the freezer seemed to leak water into refrigerator everyday several lamps where not working and the lighting in general was poor
