Claires' house is stone detached house of 65 m2, sunny, quiet with patio, in classified village couze et saint front near a lake and a castle. It is tastefully furnished with local furniture, in a cozy atmosphere, clear, calm and temperate. Renovated in 2021, it has all modern amenities: new bedding, TV, radio, washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher, stove, garden furniture and parasol.
On the ground floor you have a garden terrace with table and 4 chairs and parasol; a kitchen with electric stove, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, table and 4 chairs, stove with wood, contoise pendulum; and a bathroom with shower, two basins and separate toilet. Upstairs, you have a room for 4 people, small tables with TV and radio
a bedroom with king size bed (180cm) and storage and another room.
Your pets are welcome.

Extremely tiny, with overwhelming musty smell.

We realized within one hour, that there was no way we could stay in this tiny mouse house. My husband’s allergies kicked in within minutes, and he became completely congested. We called, texted and emailed Ann, the property manager, repeatedly, starting one hour after arriving, and continually for four days without response, saying that we wanted to give the keys back, so we could go home or move on, making clear that we did not expect a refund of the rental fee. After more than 15 attempts to contact her, she finally responded on day 4, that she would meet us the next day. Totally unacceptable experience. Thankfully, some kind locals helped us find a truly wonderful alternative place to stay, since we couldn’t leave the area without returning the keys. Who needs 4 days of stress and frustration while on vacation?!

Ferieboligen fungerer perfekt og er meget hyggelig indrettet i ægte fransk vintage stil. Alt fungerede upåklageligt og der var fint rent overalt. Det vil være ønskværdigt at få oplyst ved ankomst hvordan affaldshåndtering fungerer, for vi havde svært at finde ud af hvor det skulle afleveres og på den nærliggende plads var affaldscontaineren låst.

Un séjour très agréable dans ce gite confortable et fort bien équipé , lits de qualite et terrasse ombragee . Nous nous sommes vraiment sentis comme chez nous. Le gîte est agréable et très bien décoré, il y a un petit parking gratuit juste à côté

Tout simplement somptueux… en plus d’un cadre extérieur et intérieur magnifique, mené avec beaucoup de goût et de justesse, Claire est au petit soin avec des" bons plans" rangés dans un porte vue . Elle veille à ce qu’on ne manque de rien, et nous assurent un moment de sérénité, dans un lieu où le temps s’arrête. Encore merci nous avons passé un séjour au delà de nos espérances entre rando vélo, restau délicieux et abordables, et des "visites seuls au monde". Je recommande expressément, vous serez comblés!

EvEverything that we needed to experience the French Countryside

The house is very well équiped and confortable. Everything that we needed and more. The morning we had breakfast on the little patio outside the kitchen. It is difficult to put into words the experience of feeling the rising sun on your face as you sip coffee, nibble on cheese, and bread. It is an experience that everyone should treat themselves to. The Gite de Claire is right in the middle of the historic course village. One evening we followed the cobblestone pathway up the hill to Couze castle and experienced an amazing sunset and watch as the sun set across the valley. A big thank you to Ann and Jean for restoring this home, and for letting us share their French Dream!.... We recommanded Le Gite de Claire

Très belle maison rénovée avec gout et authenticité. Nous nous y sommes tout de suite senti très bien à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur L équipement est haut de gamme et la literie bonne. La localisation est parfaite pour découvrir la région (nombreux sites touristiques à proximité), tout en étant au calme. Parfait pour notre couple et Charles notre petit chien. Superbe maison dans un village Médiéval

Un super séjour avec mon ami, la maison est très bien agencée, le lit est confortable et la décoration très originale et qui s'accorde bien avec le style du village. Idéalement situé, très proche de la Dordogne où l'on peut y faire du kayak (que je recommande vivement !) et aussi proche des châteaux et Bastides. De nombreux petits commerçants sont à 3min à pieds, dont les boulangeries du village qui font un pain aux noix à tomber. Nous avons beaucoup aimé ce séjour au coeur du Périgord noir. Nous reviendrons plus longtemps cette fois ci Charles et Kevin

Maison de vacances parfaite, étonnante, inoubliable..

Ma femme et moi avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison de pierre très bien située dans le magnifique village de Couze. Propriété étonnante avec le confort de la literie et tous les appareils culinaires nécessaires. Très spacieuse, une terrasse idéale pour les repas ou le repos. Tout est calme, propre et beau. De plus les shops sont tout près à pied. Quel bonheur d'avoir le pain frais le matin. Ann la propriétaire est une communication très utile et facile. Cette bâtisse est hautement recommandée quelque soit la saison ( poêle à bois et râtelier de bois à disposition ) nous reviendront en avril prochain

Une propriété exceptionnelle dans la campagne à couper le souffle ! Dès notre arrivée dans cette maison, nous sentons le soin qui a été investi et réalisé. Cet endroit est fantastique pour un séjour et la qualité de l'environnement. Que vous visitiez en couple, en famille ou avec des amis, il y en a vraiment pour tous les goûts. Le patio est magnifique, La campagne environnante et les villages sont parfaits pour de longues promenades ou en effet une balade à vélo. les propriétaires ont fait tout ce qui était possible pour rendre mon séjour mémorable ... Le confort est maximum, il y avait des tas d'informations disponibles sur les endroits à visiter à proximité. J'apprécie toujours cela quand je suis en vacances, ça rend les choses beaucoup plus facile. Mon souvenir le plus préféré est le vélo chaque matin à la boulangerie locale ( 500 mètres) pour aller chercher un croissant et pain pour le petit déjeuner ... C'est un excellent moyen de commencer la journée ... Nous reviendrons !

Maison merveilleusement bien rénovée, encore mieux qu'en photo. Ici tout est très propre et fonctionnel, avec tout ce qu'il faut (wifi, télévision, dvd en quantité, livres, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, lave-linge ...). Proximité à pied des boutiques: 2 boulangers, boutique de producteurs bio, superette, bar, fleurs, pharmacie, restaurants; et d'une voie verte, d'un sentier de rivière très pittoresque. De plus la propriétaire accueillante, très agréable et souriante: au petits soins. Merci à vous ! On revient dans la région au plus vite....

Splendide, maison confortable et bien placée, soleil .....

Splendide, vélo, calme, restaurant, repos. Le temps a été splendide en ce mois d'octobre. Nous sommes venus faire du vélo électrique sur les petites routes du Périgord. Nous avons gravi la cote de Trémolat, les routes de Bergerac, Issijac, le long chemin de Mauzac. Ann, la propriétaire nous avait accueilli chaleureusement, nous confiant des cartes, et itinéraires, des restaurants. La semaine était trop courte pour tout faire. Le village se trouve hors du temps , calme et pratique avec ses petites boutiques et restaurants proches. La terrasse nous a permis de manger dehors et de ranger les vélos en toute quiétude. Nous reviendrons assurément.

A Confortable and beautiful house in a old charming village

We stayed 7 nights in that calm and beautiful spot. The house was cosy and had all we need to cook, sleep and relax. The owner (Ann) was very kind, she let us good advice about Dordogne and aera around. I strongly recommand that place for the house and for the aera!
