Pets Welcome (With Permission):
With prior approval, we allow up to two non-shedding pets, each weighing no more than 30 lbs. Please be advised that there is a pet fee of $200 for one pet and an additional $75 for a second pet. Additional administrative fees and taxes also apply.
Age Requirement:
All renters must be 25 or older or have parental guidance while staying on the property. This policy helps maintain the comfort and safety of all guests.
Golf Cart Use:
Drivers must be 25 or older and have a valid driver’s license.
Golf carts cannot be driven on sidewalks or Hwy 98.
Please use designated golf cart paths for safety and compliance with local regulations.

Escape the winter and enjoy our warm hospitality. For bookings over 60 days, stays from January 3 through March 3 are offered at reduced rates. Please feel free to contact us for details and availability.
Taxes:
If state and county taxes totaling 12% are not shown on your booking statement, you must pay these taxes. Some booking sites only display the 7% State VAT tax, leaving the management to collect the remainder of the 5%.
Cancellation Insurance:
For added peace of mind, we offer Anytime Cancellation Travel Insurance and regular Cancellation Insurance for a fee; both cover differently.
Payment Policy:
We do not accept traveler or cashier checks. All payments must be made by the renter(s) staying on the property, and the paying renter must be present during the stay.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Empty fridge of all opened or prepared food. Bag it, place trash on curb by 9:45am. Anything out at 10am or later will result in a $100 fine. No exceptions.
Wash beach towels and place in dryer.
Follow the instructions for check-out on the list posted in the home.
Before departing for home. Please turn ac to 73 degrees, if heat is on turn to 68 degrees.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We love the area and what it has to offer. We are full time residents of Destin which allows me to properly take care of the homes by walking them regularly. In October of 2018, we started Get Away Moore Vacation Rentals, taking over the care of all the homes ourselves, I was tired of running behind cleaning the homes after the management companies had them cleaned. We enjoy managing and overseeing the care of our homes ourselves.
In May 2024, we replaced the living room, kitchen, and breakfast bar furniture and also updated the kitchen and dining lights. The main living areas' ceiling can room lights have been replaced with daytime colored lights to provide more light. I like to keep my homes in great condition so my guests have a great experience when staying.

Why they chose this property
The location of the home was unique. It has a large patio. It has a more private exclusive, relaxed feel. This home sits with a creek behind it, which divides the property from the golf course, so no one can walk off the golf course onto the home's property. It's has a picturesque view. With the home being on the outside of Villa Lago parameters, it has lots of open patio space with a large patio. (This is not a home on the inside of the retention pond.)
What makes this property unique
The home is situated at the back of Villa Lago, giving you a more serene, relaxed atmosphere overlooking the golf course with the water views from a large patio with an extended brick patio. You can fish(catch and release) with the 2 fishing poles in the stream at the rear of the property. You are not on the lagoon retention pond backed up to other homes on the inside with small patios and no privacy. The stream divides your property from the golf course, so there is no walking on the property from the golf course. Plus, the golf cart trail is not right up to your property, so there are no 6 am loud noises right next to you as the golfers whiz by on their golf carts.
