Three Friends Cottage is one of St. Simons' most spectacular vacation homes, located second position from the ocean in St. Simons finest vacation home neighborhood, Coast Cottages. It is just steps from two community pools and 100 yards from East Beach - one of the widest beaches on the east coast and the best on the island. Three Friends has 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths. The bottom level has 3 bedrooms, two with a queen bed and one with two twins, along with another sleeper sofa in the den. Updated furnishings pamper you in every room, from the separate den (a great place for the kids to watch movies) to the ultra-spacious living/dining/kitchen level. There are multiple dining and sitting areas in the home, allowing plenty of space to relax, spread out, or gather together.

The master suite is a retreat with ocean views from multiple vantage points and a spa-like master bathroom. The master bath has 2 water closets and an amazing walk-through shower with ocean views. It also boasts separate seating areas in the room and on the private terrace. You'll love the high ceilings, elegant fixtures, dark mahogany floors, limestone coral tile, plantation shutters, and newly mounted TVs throughout. The gourmet kitchen is open to the living and dining areas so everyone can gather in one space. The gourmet kitchen has been updated with granite counter tops, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, double oven, and gas range.
Three Friends has 4 baths and a colorful private outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. Your friends and family will enjoy spending time on the deck while taking in the beautiful beach views. It is the perfect year-round friends and family beach retreat… your home away from home!

Three Friends' guests enjoy full privileges at the Coast Cottages' 2 fabulous beach front pools and pavilion with private beach access. The Coast Cottage neighborhood on St. Simons Island provides a quaint, charming, vacation atmosphere with colorful beach cottages. There is space for 3 vehicles in front of the cottage.
St. Simons Island is truly a special place. The island has great restaurants, miles of sidewalks which makes it a great island to ride bikes, world class golf, tennis, fishing, kayaking and of course relaxing on the beach. It is a great place to get away from it all and create some wonderful memories. You'll want to return to Three Friends Cottage year after year!

The pool is heated at no additional charge for certain holiday weeks such as spring break, Thanksgiving, Christmas to New Years. There is a $50 charge per day to heat the pool for additional days during cooler months.

We loved the 3 Friends Cottage. It was very close to the pool and beach. The elevator was a game changer for when we were loading or unloading or just too tired to take the stairs. Beautifully decorated and plenty of room - we could be together or find a private nook for reading. Should we return to SSI; I know where we will stay.

My girlfriends and I rented Three Friends Cottage May 16 thru the 19th. It was an amazing house. None of us could come up with a single negative comment. All the bedrooms were perfect for our group. Especially the master suite. The master bathroom is so spacious and spa like. Even though we didn't do much cooking, the kitchen is very nice and had everything you could need. The cottage doesn't have a view of the ocean, but, it's just a short walk down the walkway. The pools are very nice too. One of our favorite things is the elevator. We are all in our sixties, so, it was super nice not to have to deal with the stairs all the time. I highly recommend this house for a relaxing get away in beautiful St. Simons Island!

St Simons is a great place to vacation. Had a wonderful family paddle boat tour with Turtle Tides. The cottage was lovely and worked well for our set up. Really nice having the beach/pool option. My only recommendation would be investing in some beach chairs although the rental company provided some on short notice which was greatly appreciated.

A great week at the beach!

Warm ocean breezes, an amazing private beach with life guards, all the items needed for a fantastic week. The house is well appointed for families with living areas on all levels. The upstairs shower was awesome!! We went out to eat a lot this trip and we found lots of great spots for fresh seafood. The bowls at Fiddler’s were fan favorites!

We loved the house and Coast Cottage neighborhood! The elevator was great for my older parents. The house is spacious and absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed being so close to the pool and beach. The house has everything you need including beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys and a wagon. The deck was wonderful for coffee in the mornings and just hanging out during the day or night. We hated to leave but hope to stay at 5 Coast Cottage again next year!

Four sisters and our mom spent a few days at Three Friends Cottage. The beach and pool access was excellent. We especially appreciated having beach towels, chairs, umbrella and cart available for our use. The house was beautiful and very well equipped. Bedrooms and bathrooms were just as nice as the photos showed. The kitchen and living area were spacious and inviting. We had planned to watch movies but we had so much fun we ran out of time. We arrived Friday for a late Friendsgiving weekend. The house was cozy, warm and welcoming. Kitchen was sufficiently stocked with all of our cooking needs for a feast. Perfect location, quick drive to downtown and grocery. Comfy beds. We would have preferred the downstairs living space to have a regular bed instead of the pull out sofa because that would have been more comfortable and the living room on main floor hosted all of our entertainment needs for our group. This was a perfect place for our group of 9 to enjoy quality time together.

Amazing house

We stayed for a week at the Three Friends Cottage with 10 family members and had a wonderful time. We made extensive use of the wide beach within easy walking distance and the swimming pool at the end of the street. The house has lots of interesting architectural features and an extravagant primary bath. We had a couple of appliance problems, but they were addressed very promptly by the property manager. The living space is spread over three floors and elevated one floor above the ground, so we got plenty of exercise on the stairs.

Time with the family!

We stayed at Three Friends Cottage in July 2013 and it was wonderful! The place was clean and well supplied. We had 10 in our group including 4 grandchildren ages 3 - 10. The pool was approximately 150 feet from the front door and the beach about 500 feet. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone! The grand kids loved the shower in the master bedroom and we ran them through it like a car wash. Everyone wants to go back next year. We loved sitting out on the porch for morning coffee and in the evening. Thanks so much Patrick for making our stay so wonderful!

Good but not what we anticipated

We were very excited to stay at 3 Friends Cottage. There was 6 of us in total (2 elderly adults, 2 adults, 2 children). The check in process was very easy and communication about the details of the property were good. We had been notified that the property was having issues with one of the ovens, which was fine as there was two. Once we got there we realized the second oven didn't really work either, which limited cooking options. Luckily, they had a grill outside and we used that for a few meals. The refrigerator also started alarming the second day we were there and beeped every so often. It was a bit annoying (especially at night) and they did provide us with gift certificates to Southern Soul BBQ to make up for the inconvenience. To be fair, when we contacted the property management about the issues, they stated the owners were in the process of updating the appliances. All in all the property is nice and the kitchen had everything else you would need to stay for the week (dishes, cook ware, etc). The house seemed to be clean except for the dishwasher and under the beds that looked like they had not been cleaned in a very long time. We had two big disappointments about the propertyand our reservation. First was that the master bed was super firm and what we called "Rock hard". After two nights of not sleeping we found an extra twin mattress pad on the first floor and put it on one side of the king bed and then used all the extra pillows as a pad on the otherside. The other beds were not as bad, but not the best either. The biggest disappointment was that it is listed as having a water/beach view which is technically accurate but in my opinion should not be listed as such. To see the beach and water you have to stand at the very corner of the deck and lean forward to see the beach or you must be in the master shower and open the shades to see it. Either way, not what we expected for a water view home. The home all in all met many of our needs such as outdoor space to relax, having an outdoor shower, and having an elevator for the elderly adults which was a nice option (even though we really didn't use it). It is a nice house and has a lot to offer, but in my opinion it is not listed accurately and with the current condition of things is very overpriced. We had a very nice vacation, but will not be staying there again.

Three Friends is a premier cottage located in St. Simons' favorite beach side community. The cottage features 2 sitting areas so there is plenty of room for guests to have their own space. The kitchen is up to date with high end appliances and spacious enough to entertain at home.
We love the large front deck on the second floor with great views of the ocean and pools.

What makes this property unique

The cottage is located just steps from the beach and pool which make it so convenient for spending a day at the beach. Easy to come back to the house for lunch or drinks. One of the community pools may be heated for an extra charge. The cottage features an outdoor shower and elevator when stairs can be a challenge. Three Friends also has an expansive front deck on the second level with views of the pool area and beach.
