The villa has an exceptional situation with a breathtaking sea view.
The villa gets southern exposure. All the living spaces of the house have a wonderful view on the ocean.
The house offers numerous spaces situated on 3 different floors: - at the swimming pool level are located three chambers with view on the swimming pool and the ocean, as well as the big bathroom and the separate WC's.
- on the first floor is situated a living and dining room, a large kitchen and a fourth bedroom which also has a wonderful seaview and a privative bathroom. A vast and pleasant terrace is equipped with a summer kitchen (barbecue) and a covered part.
- at the upper level there is a roof terrace fitted out in lounge offering an exceptional panoramic view.
The beach of Luz (Praia da Luz) is easily accessible on foot (approximately a quarter of an hour on foot) by a path following the ocean and is only at 5 minutes by car. Luz's village offers a lot of shops (supermarket,...) and many bars and restaurants.
The beach of Burgau on the West is accessible on foot.
The city of Lagos is 10 min of car, or bus which passes at the foot of the domain. Lagos is a charming historic city surrounded with ramparts, which presents a picturesque city center. You find all the businesses (big market of Lagos every day), shops, bars, restaurants, night animation, and the big marina.
Except the beautiful beach of Luz, you find near other beaches so magnificent : Ponta da Piedade and his caves, Dona Ana, Meïa Praïa, Porto doh Mb ...
Luz is in border of the natural reserve of the southwest Alentejo, of the coast Vicentine, the paradise of the surfers, with the magnificent ocean beaches of Amado, Arrifana, and other ...
Casa Palma is for the rent recently. The outside of the villa was totally renovated recently. All the rooms were fitted out carefully, and many of the furniture is new. Outside, all the furniture (garden tables, chairs sunbathing, garden furniture on the roof brings down) is new.

Amazing Villa

Words cannot describe this Villa. It is perfect. The views are so beautiful from all bedrooms, kitchen, living room, balcony and pool area. Kitchen is very well equipped, with everything needed. The villa is very spacious, lovely interior design and very clean. Checking in and out all very easy, warm and friendly. We have been holidaying in Portugal for many years and this is by far the best villa we have ever stayed in. We hope to be back next year. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your amazing villa.

Relaxing stay, glorious location

Super week with family relaxing in this beautifully located villa. Sublime views from all the terraces -when we did tear ourselves away we enjoyed coastal walks to Lagos & Burgau. Fully equipped kitchen meant eating in was easy & again enabled us to make the most of the lovely living space & terrace overlooking the pool.

Perfect Holiday

We enjoyed the Villa Casa Palma very much. The Villa is well equipped with everything you need. The Pool is perfect for swimming with small children. The View is a dream, we even saw dolphins multible times. We will certainly be coming back.

Beautiful villa, stunning views

This is a beautiful villa about 23 mins walk from Praia Da Luz town. The pictures are great but in reality it’s bigger than it looks. The layout of the balcony and terrace means two families or parents and kids can have two separate outside areas. Would definitely go again.

A lovely well-appointed villa. We enjoyed many meals in with the charcoal grill and well-stocked kitchen and pantry. The central living area is spacious and conducive to groups. The outdoor space offers multiple seating areas and a beautiful pool and side garden. A quick walk down the hill places one at the coastal trail. The bedrooms offer comfy beds and linens, one master bedroom upstairs with adjoining bath, three bedrooms downstairs with a hall bath. We had a great time - two couples and two other friends, for one week I. October 2024

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at this lovely Villa. Natacha gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around. The Villa was very clean and had everything that we needed. Beautiful Home/Amazing Gardens

The only constructive comments I will give, which are minor compared to the overall enjoyment of the property would be to change the sheer, small curtains in the washrooms to something with a little more coverage as these windows can be viewed from the street as well as the gardeners/pool maintenance people, and to consider improving the beds/bedding and linens/towels. The kitchen was completely stocked with all the necessary cookware. The house is beautiful with a breathtaking view for coffee every morning! The location was convenient with only a short drive to everything we wanted to visit. The gardens were amazing with such gorgeous flowers and vegetation.

Fabulous family holiday in September 2019

We were a family of 6 adults and we found that the villa was both elegant and spacious enough for us all to enjoy hanging out together as well as relaxing in our own space. The villa was spotlessly clean throughout and the swimming pool immaculate. We took full advantage of dining both inside and (mostly) al fresco. The views from the villa were absolutely spectacular and given the location between Luz and Burgau, it was incredibly peaceful. The rooftop terrace was an unexpected surprise and we often watched the sunrise and sunset from there. The supermarkets were a short drive away and coastal walks to the beaches right on our doorstep. We had everything we needed for a truly relaxing family holiday and we would recommend the villa to all our friends.

Perfect for small family reunion

This property exceeded our expectations. Great for family reunions, as the younger guests can enjoy their own space when they want, and all can gather for a meal at either of two full size dining areas, inside and outside. Gorgeous ocean view, all rooms have sliding doors onto the decks. Master on main is very private from the 3 bedrooms downstairs. Decor is just lovely through the whole house. Kitchen fully equipped, bring your own consumables including kitchen/bathroom trash bags, charcoal for bbq and laundry tabs. Lovely walk along the beach trail to Praia da Luz where there are plenty of restaurant choices. Easy private parking for our 2 vehicles. Lots of homes on this site are highly ranked, this one definitely deserves a 10/10.

Ideal location and views of the sea

We loved the quiet location of the villa, it’s a 25 minute walk to Luz along the coast path. Burgau is also worth a visit and Lagos is a short drive or Uber ride away for the larger supermarkets and activities - recommend sea kayaking. We were very lucky with the weather so enjoyed spending time on the balcony and around the pool enjoying the sea view as well. The kitchen was well equipped, it was great to find herbs and condiments in the cupboard. The villa was very clean on arrival. Margarida was easily contactable and let us drop our bags there after an early flight until the 4pm check in. The only things that could be improved are minor - better information in the visitors book about local walks and the recycling of the rubbish etc. The single beds are lightweight and not really suitable for adults, a parasol for the pool area would be nice plus pillow protectors please. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely return to the area and the villa.

Amazing Villa with views

This villa is lovely and has one of the most beautiful views we have ever experienced. It is situated at a level that gives you the best view of the water. The villa is large. It has a full kitchen and large dining and living room area. We utilized the patio every evening either having dinner or just enjoying the incredible views. Watching the light from the moon light over the water is incredible. The lower level offers a pool and lounge chairs while still enjoying the water views. We walked into Luz for dinner and groceries. Generally took an uber back to the villa. We went to Lagos for a day. Enjoyed sardines for lunch and walking around the town. This is an extraordinary villa and we hope to return one day. The owner Sandra and her manager and house keeper were all wonderful. Thank you Sandra for sharing your beautiful villa with us.

Gerat view, nice place

We were 4 couples who have travelled extensively together over the years and finally got to Portugal. Our stay at Casa de Mar was very good. The view overlooking the ocean was stunning. The full moon during our stay was awesome. We used the pool and patio quite abit after a long day of exploring the Algarve. The floor plan of the house worked well for our group. Fitting in showers for 8 people with just 2 full bathrooms was a bit of a challenge but we were aware of that when we booked. So no complaint there, just be aware. Overall the house worked very well for us and the pictures are very representative. A nice surprise was that there are a fair number of good restaurants right in Luz We were expecting to have to go into Lagos a fair bit but found getting into Luz was easy and inexpensive via Bolt. Try l’Esgargot, a five minute walk down the road at the little local hotel. The food is good and Fabio the waiter is a hoot. Communications with the host and check in went well I guess the only thing to be aware of is there is no air-conditioning in the place and except for one couple found the rooms to be comfortable with the fans provided I’m thinking it would be a little hotter in July and August. To wrap it up the listing is very accurate and we all had a very good stay.

Die Villa von Marie Julin ist einfach ein absoluter Traum! Vor allem hervorzuheben ist die besondere Lage an der Algarve Küste in der Nähe vom Praia Da Luz (40min zu Fuß durch die Villensiedlung). Von hier aus können die schönen Strände an der Westküste in circa 30 Minuten erreicht werden, nach Lagos sind es circa 15 min Fahrt. Für Spaziergänge muss man lediglich 5 Minuten an die Klippen gehen, dann ist man direkt auf den Langwanderwege mit unglaublichen Ausblicken. Sowohl Sonnenaufgang als auch Sonnenuntergang können von der Terrasse der Villa jeden Tag beobachtet werden. Der Blick auf den Atlantik ist frei. Andere Villen in der nächsten Umgebung haben dies nicht, da die Hanglage besonders gut von dieser Villa ist. Die Villa lässt keine Wünsche übrig, die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Auch wenn die Villa ca. 30 Jahre alt ist, ist sie sehr gut gepflegt und hat einen wirklich tollen Charme. Dies beruht vor allem auf den super schönen, portugiesischen Deko Details und den gemütlichen Kissen überall. Man bekommt einen richtig guten Eindruck, dass hier schon über viele Jahre viele Gäste fantastische Urlaube verbracht haben. Auch besonders hervorzuheben ist die absolute Ruhe, entweder hört man das Meer bei Windstille (was sehr selten ist) oder man hört die wunderschöne Atlantik Prise durch das Rascheln der Palmen. Alles in allem hatten wir als Familie von jung bis alt eine fantastische Zeit in der Villa und werden sicherlich wiederkommen!Familie Mayer

Ein Wahnsinnsblick, eine liebevolle eingerichtete Villa, es fehlt an nix.Morgens aufzuwachen und aus dem Schlafzimmer direkt in den Pool zu gehen- traumhaft.Als Ideen könnte man die Dachterrasse noch besser gestalten.Der Strand ist gut 20min zu Fuss entfernt.Wir hatten tolle 2 Wochen, absolute Empfehlung
