About this property

Gite 4 pers. Dordogne surrounded by trees and close to a traditional inn

Previous interior designer, I am passionate about cooking and gardening. I opened an inn in the Dordogne about ten years ago, where I put the spotlight on the products of the Périgord. I wanted to share my corner of paradise even more by creating a gîte in my old house.

It is a stone house that is always cool in summer. You will never be disturbed there or only by birds, deer or roe deer or one of my cats. Here time has stopped. Come and enjoy a beautiful, open and friendly way of life. I will leave you the keys to my vegetable garden and I will show you, if you wish, the wonderful places to visit in the Dordogne.
Children can play in complete safety (no swimming pool, no cars) and parents can enjoy meals delivered by the neighbouring hostel (20 meters). We have animals, dogs, cats, geese, donkeys and accept animals that are not aggressive. Lots of water activities, nautical base and tennis in the riverside village.

Lovely hidden green gem

Driving on the first night into this corner tucked away at the top of a hill, I immediately know how beautiful this stay would be. Lots of green vibrant nature, animals, and a beautiful and comfy indoors. I can't recommend this enough. Some things to note, though, a mosquito bite is almost a guarantee, and the cottage is excellent at blocking some sunlight out.

Super séjour

Un havre de paix dans un écrin de verdure… Idéal pour se ressourcer, le gîte est fonctionnel, confortable, bien situé pour visiter la région. Laurence et Yannick sont très accueillants.

Die Bilder sind mehrere Jahre alt. Das Haus ist derart zugewachsen, dass sehr wenig Licht herein kommt. Fenster in den Schlafzimmern lassen sich nicht öffnen. Klimaanlage funktioniert nicht. Es ist feucht und es riecht extrem muffig. Wer einen feuchten Keller hat, weiß was ich meine. Wir haben nach einer Stunde das Objekt verlassen und unsere Kleidung hatte diesen Geruch angenommen. Wir haben zum Glück in der Nähe eine Alternative gefunden. Die Vermieter waren nicht bereit irgendwas zurückzuzahlen, obwohl es auch keinen Verbrauch gegeben hat. Keine Empfehlung.

1 belle semaine au calme

C est dans 1 belle petite maison en pierre juste 1 peu sombre a l intérieur mais bien fraiche dans 1 endroit bucolique avec sa deco atypique de tres bon gout dans les hauteurs de tremolat.. a l ecart de tt agitation....avec juste quelques petits animaux qui font le bonheur des enfants ...a 1 bonne 1/2...3/4 du village a pied pour les courageux par les sentiers de campagne..pas toujours plats...ou par la route..des propriétaires tres sympathique.. discret..de bon conseil..1 grand merci a eux de préserver des petits endroits comme celui là...

Séjour à l'auberge des Truffières

Très bon accueil. Logis agréable quoique un peu sombre, la chambre à l'étage est un parfait refuge pour les enfants . Le jardin est agréable et fait un peu labyrinthe. Les hôtes ne sont pas avares de conseils pour passer un bon séjour. Un bémol sur la connexion internet qui était mauvaise lors de notre séjour.

Quelques jours à Tremolat

Nous sommes restés quelques jours pour un événement familial proche du gite. Nous avons passé peu de temps sur place mais Laurence et Yannic sont très accueillants.

Idéal pour se reposer et visiter le Périgord Noir

la maison est entourée d'un jardin champêtre et bucolique avec des animaux. Les propriétaires sont charmants et le repas à l'auberge est super. Pour les visites idéalement situé au carrefour de nombreux sites. Très propre. A savoir : la maison du fait de son caractère ancien ne présente pas à l'intérieur une luminosité optimale mais cela participe au charme des lieux !! Décoration atypique de très bon goût.

De vraies vacances à la campagne

Les propriétaires sont réellement charmants. Et Yann est un cuisinier hors pair. La location est charmante et la déco réellement formidable dans un style original. Un petit paradis en pleine nature

Une semaine délicieuse à découvrir le Périgord dans cet endroit délicieux (et pas seulement grâce à la cuisine du propriétaire !). La maison est très agréable, la nature environnante magnifique, et la présence d'animaux (un âne, des moutons, des oies...) a enchanté les enfants. Spéciale dédicace pour l'accueil, particulièrement agréable.
