About this property

Our cozy beach property is a relaxing hideaway it is only three 1/2 blocks from surf, sand, restaurants and bars.
Our home is cozy and unique cape cod style home with two floors, 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. The upstairs has the master bedroom with a queen size bed a TV that has Netflix only, the second bedroom has a bunk bed with full size on bottom and twin bed on top, the TV has a VHS and DVD player. Yes, you read it right, a VHS. I have a saying, “ You should go to old school before going to new school." Their are movies in the dresser. The third bedroom has two twin beds. Upstairs there is a Jack and Jill bathroom. As a family, we are not big on TV, life is to short. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of plates and utensils for a crowd.
The downstairs living room has a pull out sofa that’s a custom blow up mattress, amazingly comfortable . Extra bedding in the cabinets, plenty of children’s books and toys to keep the kids entertained while you enjoy some relaxing time on the outdoor porch.

The term condo can mean several things but in this case , our property looks like a house connected to another house , although the homes are not connected with an entrance . . Although I do except pets if your pet struggles with anxiety or separation stress please bring a crate so your pet could be comfortable while you were gone

Cute, Pet Friendly Duplex

Cute Duplex with fenced yard and eclectic decore and collectibles. Plenty of toys for kids and a playhouse in he yard. Host was very accommodating and lives in the other side of the duplex. Renovations are underway. Sleeping arrangements were a bit of a challenge for our 3-generation family of 6. ( 4 adults and 2 small children ). Grandparents got the BR with a queen bed, shared bath with the 2nd BR, which had bunk beds (twin over double), and 3rd attached BR had twin beds. The small grandson was not comfortable on the top bunk bed, so they both got the twin beds. That left the bunk bed for the parents. They had to get a blow-up bed + alternated who slept on the bottom bunk and blow-up bed. The duplex is cute and charming, ( and pet-friendly! ), and it is very well suited for 2 parents and 4 children. The host was very nice, friendly, and accommodating. The location was also convenient-- only 4 blocks to the ocean.

Great!

Overall the property was really great. The beach was 3 blocks away, but if you come prepared then nothing to worry about. The house has a lot of toys and activites to entertain the kids. My family enjoyed our stay and Tammy was very nice and welcoming.

Great experience

This was the first family beach trip for my sisters family and mine. The property was as advertised, with many things to keep the kids busy between trips to the beach. The walk to the beach was 15 minutes, which was in no way daunting, even for the little legs in the group. Lots of things to do, the location was perfect. Tammy was a fantastic host and very easy to communicate with. Thank you for being a great host to our first of hopefully many family vacations, it was definitely one we will never forget!!

Cozy home and perfect location

My husband, my two little dogs and I stayed the week while having work done on our house. We enjoyed the yard and porch and being able to walk to everything. Ride share was very easy to get on days the weather wasn’t great. The house is charming and spotless. Kitchen has all you could ever need. Bed was comfy. Super quiet street super close to all the fun. The host Tammy is great and responded quickly to my questions. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Hi I"m Tammy , I'm a mom of five with my oldest a lighting designer in NC and my other 4 children at home still . Truly blessed.
I was raised in a military family and moved around. I finished growing up in NJ and eventually moved to Virginia Beach in 1993. After living in a few locations through out our city the kids and i ended up in the most incredible location.

I love to repurpose old items. Our dinning table is
made from a door and the legs I used wood from a construction site .
