Great beach house

Great property with lots of spaces and room for 13 guests. Elevator was a plus for an elderly parent. Place was clean and well stocked with beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and everything you need to cook. Owner was very responsive and generous with check in/check out times.

Just What We Needed

Coming back to LBI as a family for the first time in maybe 15 years, we needed a comfortable place to call home while we visited friends and favorite restaurants. This home was just that! Owners were very responsive to questions ahead of check-in, and the house was just as we expected, with plenty of room to rest and relax.

Amazing LBI home

This property has everything we needed, wanted or hoped for! We were there for our sons wedding with family from as far away as Montana! The proximity to the BBYC allowed us to walk home from the reception. It is a short walk to the beach but everything you need is there! Super comfy beds and pillows, fully stocked kitchen, and space for everyone! Thanks, John for sharing your LBI home!

A 65TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION TO REMEMBER!

The perfect place for our group of eleven women to gather to celebrate our collective birthdays! The house was well-appointed, immaculate and comfortable. The host, John, was super responsive and accommodating, allowing us to arrive and leave on our schedule. He even provided a pasta pot for our tradition of Saturday night Spaghetti Dinner. What was perfect about this house is that there are several places for our group to gather, both inside and out. And while it was a little breezy and chilly for the beach, we were able to enjoy lovely walks and some shopping. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this house for any group planning for a stay on Long Beach Island.

The elevator worked out great for my 91 year old father and my handicapped husband. Our only disappointment was there really wasn’t any deck or porch to hang out.

Beautiful house on the bay in a quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach. House was big enough for the 9 of us (and there were more beds if the rest of my family came). Very clean and had all the amenities that you need. John was a fantastic host!

Beautiful and Comfortable Home for 11 People

We rented the house for ourselves and our wedding party to stay in over the weekend of our wedding. The place was clean, comfortable and large enough for everyone to feel comfortable to stay. It was a very pleasant and painless experience that gave us the chance to relax and reconnect with family and friends that we hadn't seen since before the pandemic. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely Bayside Family Home

We absolutely loved stayed here! Jon was so responsive and easy to communicate with. The bedrooms and bathrooms are big and the layout allows for privacy if multiple couples/families are staying together. We had a 6 month old with us on our trip and no one ever heard her crying. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you may need and plenty of Tommy bahama beach chairs are available for use. The walk to the beach is super quick and the sunset views of the bay at night are gorgeous! Would highly recommend staying here again!

Perfect house for our family

We finally found the perfect house for our family at the shore! Spacious, well furnished, and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we could hope for, and bathrooms are beautiful. Close (5 min. walk) to the beach. Amazing location for sunsets and quiet neighborhood day and night.

Cleaning People need better coordination & communication

Lovely stay until it was time to leave. Cleaning people arrived early and just started cleaning., claiming that dishes not all cleaned and garbage bags not thrown out. If they abided by the scheduled time, this would not have happened. Want to charge 2x the cleaning price for throwing out 3 garbage bags and a few dishes in the sink. Says alot about the state of the economy and service business.

Perfect Long Weekend

The online pictures do not do justice for the house or view. House is BIG and the view is gorgeous. I'm a tough cookie and I was impressed with how clean the house was. The view at sunset is mesmerizing from the living room and so so relaxing. Our son graduated from the Hun School in Princeton and we had a small BBQ of family and friends (Smokey's BBQ catered and was on point!!) and all commented on how nice the house and view were. The only issue we had was the Nest thermostat, it kept changing on us like someone else was controlling it? Probably pre-sets that we cold not change. Other than that our stay was perfect. There are thousands of rentals on LBI but we hope to rent this one again!!

Spacious family home

Spacious home but not really set up as a rental. For example the bedrooms did not have lamps, the only way to turn off the overhead light was the wall switch. Difficult to navigate in the dark without stubbing a toe. The house has two levels but is three stories high. Stairs to the second level ( 3rd floor) were dangerous, the steps are short and steep akin to rock wall climbing. Several televisions were not functioning , we had a rainy weekend , would have been great if ALL the TV's worked and offered access to Netflix , or similar channels. We had difficulty with the cook top, the front right when left on simmer ( making chili) kept turning itself off. The microwave is small and out dated. For a home renting in this price range we expected higher quality amenities. The Yacht Club; located directly across the street and blocking a large portion of the waterview, the Yacht Club hosted an event Saturday night. The music was a loud it could be heard in every room inside the house with all the windows closed. My guests who slept in the rooms in the front of the house endured the worse of the loud music. No TV in their rooms to "cover" the noise. John the host replied promptly to my questions prior to checkin . He did however fail to notify me prior to check in that the washing machine was broken . Overall I would say this is a spacious family home , that did not meet our expectations for the price paid.

We lived in this home during Sandy. Our home was rebuilt 100% new.

Our home is handicapped accessible, with an elevator. Most renters say their favorite thing about the house is the view. Next favorite is the 2 full sized living rooms - one on each floor. This is the perfect home for a large family or two families.
