Charming House in Beautiful location with lovely friendly and helpful owners

The property is really lovely and well equipped. The hosts, the Nayrolles family, are very friendly and helpful without intruding into your privacy. My wife is in a wheelchair, and the morning after we arrived Raymond had installed a ramp so that the wheelchair could be pushed easily up the 2 steps (Thank you Raymond!). The location is very rural but is within 3 Kms of Estaing and the whole area is so beautiful. Its fantastic cycling country and other activities include hiking, fishing and canoeing....or enjoying some of the wonderful local wines! We loved our stay and will be back. Thank you to Raymond and your family for making us feel so welcome

Unexpected treat

Raymond and Yvonne (sp?) were excellent hosts and the communication leading up to the rental was excellent. The place is a little hard to find the first time and because none in our party splke French there were some communication issues getting to the property and getting settled. However, once we were there we loved the place. It is set in the middle of a family compound amidst a working farm in an idyllic setting. We had all the room and privacy we needed plus we had very pleasant visits with Raymond even though there was a language barrier. We walked all over the property and enjoyed the beautiful setting and postcard views and it was an easy 5-minute drive into the village. We feel this visit gave us an authentic taste of France. We spent 5 nights here and would have loved to stay longer and we hope to return one day.

Très bon séjour dans une très jolie maison.Les propriétaires ont été très gentils avec nous et particulièrement le Monsieur qui nous a offert de très bons légumes (tomates et haricots verts) et une bouteille de Ratafia pour l'apéritif.Si je dois revenir dans la région, je reviendrai ici.Mr BOROWSKA

Très belle région et joli gîte. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Majorac. Les propriétaires nous ont gentiment accueilli avec une bouteille de vin maison. Ils ont été accomodants, disponibles et sympathiques tout le long de notre séjour . Le logement est situé proche du magnifique village d'Estaing. L'exterieur du gite est fleuri et entretenu, la terrasse est parfaite pour manger dehors. Le rdc est spacieux et la cuisine bien équipée. L'étage est davantage pensé pour des jeunes. L'ensemble est conforme avec la description donnée. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir profiter de ce joli coin de pays !

Superbe séjour près d’Estaing

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce gîte qui était correctement aménagé, très propre et avait une terrasse très agréable dont nous avons bien profité. Le gîte est situé dans une ancienne ferme et tout est très bien entretenu, fleuri, etc. Le gîte se situe à 3 km d’Estaing et les environs sont très beaux. L’étage du gîte est accessible via un escalier un peu étroit et escarpé, les 2 chambres à l’étage sont donc à réserver à des personnes bien mobiles. Heureusement il y a 2 chambres au RDC. Les literies sont très bonnes. Les propriétaires ont été très accueillants et nous ont même offert une bouteille de leur vin! Nous n’avons pas mis 5 étoiles uniquement à cause de l’expérience malheureuse que nous avons eu avec la fille des proprio qui s’occupe de la gestion et qui s’est montrée tout à fait désagréable quand elle a découvert qq miettes au sol à l’inspection du logement en sortie. Sa réaction a été tout à fait disproportionnée et nous a laissé un goût amer…

Sur les hauteurs d'Estaing

Excellente semaine passée en Aveyron chez Raymond. Gîte très bien situé pour un programme chargé en activités (randonnées, visites de châteaux et d'ateliers artisanaux, baignade en rivières et lacs, canoë, paddle...) et proche de nombreux restos très sympas. Encore merci à la famille de Raymond pour leur accueil et leur hospitalité ! Ce grand gîte est vraiment idéal pour passer de bonnes vacances en famille. Seul regret : n'avoir loué qu'une seule semaine !

Maison au calme "comme à la ferme" au-dessus du magnifique village d'Estaing

Une maison spacieuse, très au calme au milieu des prés, aux beaux murs anciens. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la grande cuisine équipée, la terrasse ombragée et surtout la gentillesse de nos voisins et hôtes. Proche de toutes commodités à Estaing et Espalion (qq minutes en voiture). Seul petit défaut, comme souvent dans les maisons anciennes : les pièces sont un peu sombres. Par contre, ça a l'avantage d'être très frais en été ! Si nous revenons dans le coin en famille, nous reviendrons avec plaisir chez ces hôtes particulièrement aimables :)

séjour à Majorac

Belle maison tout à fait conforme aux photos et à la description , bien équipée , il ne manque rien pour passer un très bon séjour .Cette maison est située dans un hameau , très calme , dans la nature et permet de visiter toute la région où l'on découvre de très beaux sites et villages . Les propriétaires sont charmants , très accueillants , proches des occupants si besoin , vous donnant de bons conseils pour découvrir l'Aveyron . En allant dans leur maison , et en nous rapprochant d'eux , nous avons fait une belle rencontre que nous n'oublierons pas . Grace au lieu et aux propriétaires , nous nous souviendrons avec bonheur de notre séjour à Majorac.

Super week-end

Nous avons passé un super week-end. Personne très accueillantes et agréables elles nous ont donnés de super conseils pour des balades . Les enfants ont plus s'amuser dehors sans danger. Maison super très agréable et avec assez de place pour les 8personnes que nous étions. Je recommande vivement. En vous remerciant pour votre accueil et au plaisir dune prochaine fois.
