Tranquil stay in French countryside

Beautiful property which is a converted mill, our gite was beautifully decorated, the upstairs bathroom and bedroom really comfortable and very well done indeed. Marc and Isabele are friendly, welcoming hosts and gave us the chance to practice our conversational French. You definitely need a car here, there isn't any commerce in the village itself but there are local towns nearby, some of these have local markets which are great to explore. We especially enjoyed the tranquility of the large gardens at the gite, a large pond has dozens of large Koi Carp which are a delight to watch and there is a small pool if you fancy a dip. I would highly recommend this property if you want to explore or just relax and take in the ambience.
