The condo was very clean. It had easy access to all the trails that I wanted to hike. The only thing I didn't like was that the bed was as if I was sleeping on concrete. But because of the location and the price the bed was a minor concern.
Minutes away from trailhead of many outstanding trails. Summer route station of Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge was just a few miles down the road. Durango and Silverton half hour away. Traffic noise from busy hwy 550 is only detractor, but it dies down in evenings.
The condo is well equipped, in a great location. we had a great time, once we found the place. The instructions to find the condo amongst the multiple buildings, which are poorly marked was very frustrating. Make sure you get clear instructions before you get there.

Nice condo but won't stay there again.
No AC so you have to have the windows and veranda door open to keep it comfortable on warm days but the condo faces hwy 550 (250' away) so it is NOISY. Didn't get much sleep the week we were there in June, 24.

This was not the best experience for my parents. They didn’t stay their full stay due to haunting experiences in the room. The door would not open even after entering the correct numeric password. They left a day early and did not want to return. We were denied a refund.

Upon entering the room, there was a very strong smell of sewage, and the toilets would not flush. The number Vacasa sent us to call if we had any problems with the check-in was totally useless, it seemed like we were talking to AI... the "person" would only repeat back to us what we were telling her. Sent no-one to help. We spent 3 hours trying to track down someone who could help with the problems. Will never stay with Vacasa again.

Great Ski Condo Location
My review is mixed. Great things: Well appointed, plenty of linens, comfortable bed, hot shower. Kitchen was stocked and the location is one mile from skiing. Everything Colorado, with fresh mountain air and views of the mountains and trees,
Things that need improvement: Management Company Issues. The directions say 29 miles outside of Durango. They should include, one mile from Purgatory ski entrance. Inside Cascade VIllage. Name on building - SNOWDEN. That the directional signs with number inside the multi-building complex are not lit at night, so look for them closely.
We arrived at Cascase VIllage based on context clues, and asked someone standing in front of the lodge where to find unit #337 and we were told there was no 300+; and the Aspen Glow name (which doesn't match the building name) really threw them for a loop.
We then called the front desk after hours number on the lodge door and we were told the same thing, though they were happy to give us another number to call for a supervisor.
I gave up and called Vacasa (which I hate, because they are so very far removed from the actual property; and tend to re-read the same information I read, only slower). I did get someone who was sympathetic and able to confirm Cascade Village, but they had no additional information, and at one point had the until number confused with another rental property onsite.
My husband finally started walking inside buildings until we could figure out the number system.
These are all issues that started our stay on the WRONG FOOT and had nothing to do with the property, or it's owners. I have never had a smooth check in experience with a Vacasa property.
Owners: Please find someone local.

We are glad to see you enjoyed the area! We have updated our check-in instructions to include more concise directions for finding the condo. Thank you!
Clean and cozy, would stay again. Reeely needs a newer coffee pot, that dinosaur takes like 30 minutes to brew a pot. And some TV instructions for us non techy old cable people. Otherwise awesome
My husband surprised me with a rented cabin in Pagosa Springs for our 15th wedding anniversary. But due to a wildfire, we were unable to stay there. So at the last minute I found this sweet hidden gem. The location is absolutely beautiful and every morning we enjoyed our coffee on the deck as we watched the sun come up over the peaks. The condo was easy to find and it had everything we needed. The place was clean, check-in was very easy, the large jetted bathtub was wonderful, and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Our only "complaint" was the bed and pillows, both seemed very hard. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Beautiful condo
Nice layout. Great view from private balcony. Scenic 30 minute drive from Durango
We could not get either tv to work. The unit was a good size for our family of 3. The bed was very firm and not very comfortable. The kitchen supplies were well stocked. The on property restaurant was very disappointing.

Nice well equipped condo
The condo was perfect for our stay in the Durango area. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen, plenty of linens and the view from the balcony was spectacular. It took awhile to find the correct building and unit so better directions for that would be helpful. A layout for where the pool and gym is would also be good to have in the unit. Bed is very firm.

It's more like 3.5 star....
This shabby-chic unit is functional little place. We spent an hour looking for this place - it is located in the Cascade Village but not a part of it. Look for the building name - Snowdon. There is no building names "Aspin glow" - it is the nickname for the unit. Building is located next to Hwy 550, second building behind Ski shop. Take right at the Tennis court, left to under building parking - drive through first structure and second structure is where you need to park. Jacuzzi is so big - there's no bar to pull yourself up so be careful. Grocery store is far away, no much restaurant around. House is dimly lit - dining room light quit working the last day. It's not perfect, but it worked OK...
The condo had everything we needed.
The location was great.
The views were amazing.
And even the weather cooperated to give my wife and I a wonderful week together.
Thank you for making the condo available for others to enjoy.
