Nice location. Great yard for dog, she loved checking rocks and wood pile for chipmunks all the time. Nice deck for sitting out back. Could use new lightbulbs in a lot of the lights (front porch, ceilings) lamp broken in living room, also new batteries in remotes. Comfortable home. Thank you!
We had 4 adults and 2 kids and it had plenty of room. The downside was the internet was super slow and didn’t work most of the time which is bad for us as we work remotely but we took 2 days off work and enjoyed the area.
We had a short, but great trip to this cabin/house. It was close to Shadow Mountain Lake and had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
This is an awesome little property with everything you need for your stay at Grand Lake. We were minutes away from downtown Grand Lake and right next to Shadow Mountain Lake. There was room to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views with out pups. We had a moose even come through the yard. The cabin is also within 10 minutes of Rocky Mountain National Park and there are many other trail near by in Grand Lake and Grandby. We had a problem with the wood stove working but the owner was easy to contact and sent someone out the next day to check it. We would absolutely stay here again!
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was exactly as we expected, and even more spacious than anticipated. Everything felt clean and having access to laundry was great! We were close to grand lake . After reading many of the reviews on another site we were worried about being too hot but that wasn’t the case at all! When cooking dinner the cabin was warm, but we opened the windows and used the fans (they provided really great fans for every room) and it cooled down quickly. Temperatures dropped at night and we slept comfortably! We would absolutely stay here again! Just a heads up for families with babies, we brought our own high chair and pack n play (there was no dinnerware or silverware for toddlers)
The pictures don’t do this property justice, it’s way better in person! We loved it, had everything we needed - good gathering area, outdoor space and everything in between.
We had a whirlwind trip to Colorado from the Midwest and booked this place. What a treat it was to settle in this cozy cabin. Everything was great: excellent communication, comfy living room, some rustic feel, beautiful views, great kitchen with quality dishes, overall aesthetically pleasing decor, awesome light and best of all 2 outdoor decks, and that’s how we viewed the big elk strolling by. How cool is that?
