Walking distance to Downtown and Grand Lake and Private Courtyard!
This cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood just one block from Grand Avenue and just a short walk from Grand Lake! It has a private courtyard and covered deck in back at which you can enjoy a campfire or eat meals. It has a fully stocked kitchen, large master bathroom with tub, 2 additional guest bedrooms (one has a skylight.) It has an outdoor firepit and charcoal grill, a laundry room, and internet - all of the amenities needed to enjoy a vacation in beautiful Grand Lake!
The master bedroom and one guest bedroom each has a queen-size bed. The other guest bedroom has a trundle bed that forms 2 twin beds.
This cabin is held to a higher safety standard than cabins located outside of the village. It is inspected annually by the Grand Lake fire department.
Enjoy the splendor of Mount Baldy from the front yard, and enjoy the moose (and occasional bear) who frequently wander through that neighborhood. **(Please note that the mountains are a host to MANY types of wildlife. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, unwanted wildlife such as chipmunks or mice can sometimes find their way into mountain cabins. If you are uncomfortable with this possibility, this vacation choice may not be the best for you.)
This cottage is located close to the repertory theatre, shopping, a grocery store, and restaurants. It is also just a short drive (about 1 mile) from Rocky Mountain National Park.

This place was perfect for our long weekend in Lake Grandby. Not only was it a great location, the owners took such good care of us to make sure our stay was nice. Loved the place, loved the people. Highly Recommend!

It was surely a pleasure to host your group! Thank you for the feedback!
The property was exactly as advertised. Proximity to town, Grand Lake and RMNP were all fantastic. The property was the perfect size for our party (4 adults). Grand Lake had multiple great dining options, and the shopping was what I would expect. We had a wonderful stay.
This cabin was so fun to stay in! Bigger than what photos show, decorated with the cutest knick knacks and wall decor, stocked with everything and more that we needed! The location is perfect! Can walk everywhere around town, or an easy in/out drive to get to the lake, shops, or restaurants. Our host, Michelle, reached out to welcome us and was very responsive when I had questions.

I'm so happy you enjoyed the cabin, and thank you for the feedback!
Stayed here with our family of 5 and had a great week. We spent a lot of time in the private back yard with the fire pit, very peaceful. Plenty of room for dining indoors & outdoors. Great location for nice walks to the lake or to downtown Grand Lake.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I'm happy you had a great time!
The cabin was off the main street in Grand Lake. So walking distance to local businesses and not far from Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin had a lot of space and all the amenities.A couple of small negatives were that wood was not provided by the property and had to be bought from a local store and also that the mud room had a weird smell (maybe dog urine?).

I appreciate the feedback. I'm not sure what caused a foul odor during your stay (we don't allow pets), but the housekeeper took extra care with that room in response to your feedback.
The cottage was darling, in a great location - easily walkable to the bars and restaurants in town, and the owner very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

About the host
Hosted by Rebekah Wilson
We (Dan and Rebekah) were raised in the Kansas flatlands, but we each vacationed in Colorado while growing up. We finally made the leap to the high country 15 years ago, and we have taken full advantage of this giant playground ever since our move.
Why they chose this property
We spend a sizable amount of time in the mountains. Dan completed his due-diligence in investigating options for a mountain home. We wanted a location that would appeal to all ages, all year round, and we wanted activities that involved mountains, water, wildlife, and a community. We have several children, and this location and property provides a central location for family members to walk or ride bikes to nearly every amenity within Grand Lake.
What makes this property unique
We fell in love with this home for many reasons. It is comfortable, roomy, and it has a private cozy backyard courtyard. It is also located in a great area - a quiet neighborhood located within walking distance of the lake and downtown Grand Lake. We can have our kids visit and everyone can simply walk to whatever activities interest them!
